[Q] LG L7 p705 CyanogenMod boot loop - Help - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok guys this is my first post on here so sorry if it is in the wrong place
Well anyway today i went and installed CM 10 on my LG p705 wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/P700_Info but since there is only CM for the p700 i went and used that(because people said it should work fine) well anyway i had to edit the update script for it to accept my phone(after weeks of trying i realized i had to do that ) well long story short it is now stuck on a boot loop on the CyanogenMod logo
Now what im asking is, is there a way to install CyanogenMod on my phone, i know i can go back to how i had the phone before but i want to use CyanogenMod on it. Since the only diff between the 705 and the 700 is that the 700 has NFC, im assuming the boot loop is because its trying to find the NFC module or something like that and it cant. So it there a way to edit it so I can have CyanogenMod running on my phone?
Thanks

Ok so i have found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472479

[Q] motorola defy does not start

Hi ..
I had updated defy to the latest cnmod nighty version. ( 110410 ). Eveerything was working fine. i played with the phone for the entire day. video acceleration was awesome and played gt racing.
Suddenly there was problem with wifi connection. I decided to restart the phone. Choose the reboot menu . and now the phone is stuck with the moto logo on startup. Nothing happens after that.
When the bluelight blinks after the android menu , when I press the down button , I get android bootmenu v1.0.5 (By cynongen defy team and galaxy) ,
i was not able to do anything from here. It has these menus :
1)Boot : boot is set to 2nd init
2)cpu settings
3)recovery : in the recovery menu , If i choose latest recovery or stable recovery , I get error in /system/bootmenu/script/recovery.sh (Result: no such file or directory) , and when I choose stock recovery , the phone restarts and is stuck with an exclamation mark )
4)tools: I could understand what to do here.
When nothing did work , I pressed both up and down button after changing boot to normal. there i cleared some cache or something , cleared everything that I could.
After all this my phone is in the same place. A moto logo on startup.
Please can someone help me . This is my first android phone and also the first costly phone I bought and I did something nasty on the first day itself.
i am a normal end user who knows nothing more than gui.
thanks in anticipation
hey
flash a stock 2.2.2 with RDS from bootloader
you gonna need latest defy drivers for windows plus a stable froyo i guess
google this "how to unblick a bricked defy"
let us know what you do and what changes
are you sure this is a case of bricked defy. I had read in many places it is very difficult to brick defy.
its not bricked
but that is what you need to search for to get the solution
i did so too
What "Natsikap" said.
Clear Data/Cache.
Flash Official Froyo 2.2.2 using RSDLite, Use your region correct Froyo (If you are from India use SEA15 Stock ROM -Get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Motorola_Defy). Everything will be Stock normal. Read everything in the wiki before you flash anything, esp read the "How to get back to Normal in case things go awry" part you will save yourself the High BP!
thanks all for your support.
i have installed the orginal manufactuer android froyo
and flashed it later with cynogenmod 7.1 for defy. The latest stable one that was released yesterday
One more question:
Should I unroot this cynogenmod .. so that I don't mess something.
congratulations
you sorta came from behind and am sorta left behind
question: does the 7.1 have any wifi issues? working properly?
tell me so i can make the jump too
thanks bro
sorry for the late reply..
no it does not have any issues.. at least i could'nt find any.
wifi was working like a charm. used it for around 2 hours ..
Couple of questions..
1) i don't lke the menus flying into the screen. How can i change this animation to the normal fade animation that came with original os.
2)should i unroot my cynogenmod should that i don't cripple it while playing with settings or someother way.
Do not unroot CM7. Make site you make a backup in recovery, that way if you mess something up you can just restore it. As for animations, go to settings> cyanogen settings> display, you should be able to change the animations. If not try spare parts app.
Swyped from my MIUI Defy
i have defy plus.....i havnt rooted it ...its working on original 2.3.6
my phone is starting but power button not working.....when i put it on charing lock screen comes to life but touch not working..
sometimes it remains on moto logo
please help

[Q] L5 CM11 9.3 & touchscreen

Hello all.
I have an LG E610 L5 and was trying to update my CM11 9.1 to 9.3 (per the three-step instruction at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2519448). After installing the latest beta with CWM and all going smoothly, when the phone finally boots up the touchscreen doesn't seem to work. In other words, I can't get past the SIM lock.
Tried wiping cache, but it didn't help.
I had the same problem with TeamOPTIMA's CM port, but PecanCM's 9.1 was usable. Does anyone have any ideas what I could try to get it to work?
addendum edit: downgraded back to 9.1 backup, touchscreen works again. Either I do something wrong while updating (followed the instructions in the linked thread), some app is going haywire or my E610 has some strange issues with 9.3...

help on resolving my lg g2 cm12 problems or going back to stock

Hello guys. I'm in trouble!
My lg g2 (vs980) is not universal, and I'm from Nigeria which makes it difficult for me to get OTA updates so I decided to look for an alternative way of getting lollipop. So I followed the steps in a youtube video by a developer (probably from xda). Haven rooted my phone with stump, I downloaded cm12, gapps, efs back up thread, autorec, some jellybean radios and latest twrp recovery all from xda developers forum. Following the guidelines, I install autorec and "downgraded my boot older", then I boot into recovery, flash the latest twrp, whip data as instructed, flash the cm12, flash the gapps, everything as instructed and then I reboot. I don't know what went wrong.
Happy I was, as here comes the lollipop but little did I know that this indeed would be my worst experience on a device ever.
My sim card doesn't show anymore, Media; videos and music no longer play - in fact, anything that has to do with sound even from third part no longer works, games no longer play at all and camera no longer works. The only thing that works well is the wifi connections with which I'm able to post this now. I consider the fact that autorotation, auto brightness, knock on, slide aside and quick window are not working as minor problems but obviously, I can't do without the earlier ones mentioned. Pls I seriously need help on either how to resolve those issues or better steal, how to go back to my normal lovable lg g2 that I used to know. Pls help me I can't use my phone for anything. I really missed my phone and I need it back.

So I tried to install the lastest cyanogenmod 13 nighly (2016-11-13)

I started installing the lastest nightly for Cyanogenmod 13 (2016-11-13) on my LG G2 d802 (intl). I following the instructions on the video (youtube /watch?v=fg3DzXTZyFY). Everything went well, everything installed properly up to the point where the apps started preparing. Then the blue head of the cyanogenmod's mascot shows up again and the apps start preparing in a constant cycle. I tried entering recovery mode but I couldn't get it ot enter.
Please help if you can. My graditude in advance.
P.S.
I am sorry if there is a simular thread with a simular problem that I didn't see.
