I was wondering if someone could tell me which .kl files the Bluetooth keyboard uses? i'm trying to mod them so that i can use the Fkeys for other things such as volume up/down home, lock/unlock etc.

Does it is possible to get the key messages ( eg. key_up , key_down )
from a BT headset ? (VB.net)
I think that will make a headset a good remote control for a PDA.
The volume up/down keys on a headset are local. They don't transmit to the device. The answer/hang up button(s) do transmit, so you could capture that. If you could capture that and turn it into a button press on the device, that could be very useful for voice dialing.
Tis is what i want, but dont know how to capture the button press on device.
Tried an app that captures all hardware buttons off PPC, but dont work with a the button from headset.
Is there no way to monitor incoming bluetooth sendings ???
Can I map standard (wired) headset button to execute some application, etc?...
I think I can do it in registry but I don't know how...
I've tried and tried to solve this issue. It's possible to reprogram the answer button on the phone with some 3rd party apps, but I was unable to get it to work with the wired headset button. I've scanned everywhere and to my knowledge it hasn't been successfully done on the magician.
I have a T-Mobile Vario II. Included was a wired headset with in-line volume slider and push-button.
At present holding the button down for a few seconds launches the pre-loaded voice speed dial software. However, I have installed Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 and want to change this button to launch the voice command software instead of the Cyberon software.
I've been digging through lots of forums including this one and found many references to using BlueTooth headsets but not the wired one. Lots of them refer to the reg key [HKLM\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand\] Path. The path value doesn't exist on my device, and creating it didn't make any difference.
Has anyone found a way of changing what this button does?
I have HTC Diamond with WM6.5 and a bluetooth headset with remote control. I want to exchange prev/next buttons function. (i used WMPlayer) Please help me
I looked once for something like this. I actually wanted to change it so when I pressed one of my handfree buttons it did something totally different. Never found anything that could do it. I suspect that it would be rather complicated to do. You'd probably have to re-write the BT driver.
Hi all, I'm wondering if there is any app that can help me trigger google now from a car using a basic bluetooth commands from the car stereo.
By this, I mean pressing a combinations of bluetooth commands to trigger it (for example, forward-forward-rewind-forward from the steering wheel controls of a car)
The reasoning is that Google Now can already use bluetooth mics to receive commands - the only difficult part is starting up google now when moving (without getting a ticket!)
could this be possible with tasker?
Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure whether it works across bluetooth, but I'm able to bring up voice command with headset button controller on my wired headset by setting a custom remote button pattern.

I'm wondering this too - however I'm wondering if there's some sort of dialler 'middle man' app I could use.. say when I dial '1234' from bluetooth, it runs a custom task (eg triggering google now) - surely someone has written something like that?
upgrade your call button from voice dialer to google now: http://hackerspace.lifehacker.com/reassign-your-bluetooth-phone-button-to-open-google-n-1507391132
