Relaunch app, is someone making a similar app like this? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

I have been using the relaunch app and i am impressed with it. Only problem is, the app is dead. They even asked money for pro version promising pro only functions but they never came. I am on the hunt for an app like it. Any info would be nice.

other options
I've never used Relaunch but I've been really happy with Frontmost because you can pin anything to it. I'm currently using it with SideBar Plus.

[Q] XDA app

Is everyone getting a lot of force closes with the XDA app? Do we know if its a honeycomb thing or something specific to the Iconia and also does it make a difference whether using the free version or premium version?
Mine is working well (xda premium)
For me the free xda app wouldn't work, so I decided to buy the tapatalk app, and it works perfectly.

Yup.
I wanted to persevere with the XDA app in support of those who put the work in to it; however I simply can't get it to function. I login and then, bam, force close.
It looks like I'll have no choice but to go the Tapatalk alternative.
It doesn't work on the Xoom either unless you stay logged out. Never had one FC while logged out. Since I mostly just read and can grab my Evo if I HAVE to post so it isn't much of an issue.

Me too. Getting FC before and after rooting iconia. Every time I want to select a thread, it FC so I decided to use the browser instead.
have lot of FC too... send report when requested
I usually get alot of force closes as well when using xda app on my Droid x, but for some reason I have not had it happen on my tab. but it is a common issue that I have had since the app was released.

I had a lot of force close issues with the free XDA app. I installed the premium version and so far no problems

Give SmartTaskbar Pro a try. Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but worth a peek. I've been using it for about a month now and it's pretty slick.
Ehh not really looking for a launcher of that sort, but thanks anyways. =] the search must go on..

[App/Theme] Smart Launcher

Hello,
I found this amazing launcher at Google play store that is really simple to use and actually different from all the other that you guys might be used to. It's called Smart Launcher. It organizes the app by category in order to open an app with a couple taps on the screen. Hope you enjoy

good launcher!
simple and clean
Actually I love it for being so simple to use and we don't have to kill ourselves in order to find the app that we want. The category app drawer is simply amazing.

Driving me crazy

These dang apps with the advertising in them are pissing me off. Everytime I turn on my tablet there is one in my notification bar. Anyone know of an app to block them? I just usually delete the app out of frustration but there are some I'd like to keep.

Then why don't you pay for them to get rid of the ads?

Correct. And some you need more than 15min to check em out.

I find i best to be more particular of what I install and do not support any app that uses notifications to advertise.
An ad blocker will not help with these either. I simply read comments on any free app and Always look at permissions before installing.
If one still slips by, I uninstall intermediately.
All I'm saying is, if it's a good app, why not support the developer? It's not like they charge you an arm and a leg for their app and you can install it on any device that is registered to you afterwards. Most apps only cost a few bucks anyways.

It sounds like what you are describing is a VERY annoying ad service called Air Push (puts ads in your notification bar). You can use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector to figure out which app it is and uninstall it.
If you are talking about in-app ads, then you need something like adblock, but keep in mind, ads are how devs get paid for their "free" apps...so unless you want to help support them all going pay, you might want to reconsider.

All you need to do is "long press" the notification and select "app info" and it will take you right to the app to uninstall it.
Get Add on detector from the play store and run it
It will tell which app/apps is the culprit so you can delete it

Yep or airpush detector.

It's all personal preference really, depends on how you want your screens set up, how you want the device to look etc. (PS Best threads are against XDA rules, so expect this to be closed)
Oh right ok i didnt know so do i need to be rooted to change launcher
Sent from my SM-G900F using xda app-developers app
Nope, can grab Nova /Apex etc from the playstore and test them out, premium features you have to pay for, but in regards to Nova it's superb I've used it for a long time now.
