That's your Google Apps process that's crashing/force closing. It's really annoying when that keeps happening.
You can try these options;
1) Delete your Google account, then add the account back.
2) Go to application manager, search for play store and clear data.
Let me know if it worked or not.
Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done both the steps.
But Google play store is not working closing right after opening.

Make a backup of your phone with titanium backup or something like that.
Factory reset your phone that would fix the problem. Make sure you backup data and contacts before you factory reset the phone.

Sorry try this first, before you make a factory reset.
1. Go to MENU
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Go to APPS
4. Look for DOWNLOAD MANAGER under ALL
5. Disable it then enable it
Menu-> Settings-> Apps-> All-> Download Manager (Disable then enable)
That should do the trick.
If for some reason that doesnt work, try clearing your app cache, or deleting some recently downloaded apps. If this won't work you should do a factory reset as i said in my comment above.

Wrong section... Well anyways your contacts should re sync with your Google account, if you saved it. As for the apps use an app that backs it up. I personally use titanium backup

Sorry, and well, is weird because it always backs everythig up, contacts and apps and everything so when I restore, everything is the way it was...
And my messages dissapeared and all that, every times I restore everything is the way it was :/

Did you do a backup via rom manager?? I've never had any issues with my backups.. never lost text messages, contacts or apps..

Yeah I did with rom manager

maybe your sd card is full? there does not seem to be any error warning when you backup up with less space free than needed, the backup runs through fine, md5 sum is created etc.. but then you restore and some things are just missing (sms, app data, etc.). if that's the case: sry, your data is lost, happened to me more times than I can remember.

my Nexus 4 is fully compatible with the update
Stock no modifications, root, no recovery
while i was updating through wifi, my brother accidentally switched off the wireless router and disturbed the download
then i got back to my wifi, and unable to update even i keep pressing the Retry Download as in the picture
is there any way to reset or clear download cache something like that?

remove your Google account completly under settings, not just clearing, then re-add the Google account

I have the same issue and I have tried everything suggested in addition to anything I can think of. Still no fix. However, it usually works if I retry the request a few times.

Hi all,
Had nothing to do last night so went modding framework-res to support multiple users.
Result. Max users 3
Lockscreen rotation
Select users on landscape lock screen.
And of course framework-res.
framework-res.apk - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1HTgi0NDB0MUlRaZC0wUUE0ZTQ/edit?usp=sharing

Attached framework-res is for stock only
Am using ART so don't know if it works on dalvik.

Any screenshots? Anyone already tryed this ?

I would love to try it but its not installing.
i would love to be able to restrict usage of my phone.. for example a simple swipe unlock will login using a guest user with limited access to photos, SMS, installing apps etc. while a pin/pattern unlock will login using a full access user (device owner) for full functionality.. is this possible using this mod ?
Installed with framework installer via CWM but any modification with ART and Dalvik. Only update of applications at boot :/
tried the "enable multiple user" app from the play store, i could get another account set-up but i could not return to my original account.

Is there any solution yet for (com.android.phone forced close) in the secondary user?
Thanks
@imparator , great job though. But it is not working in AOSPAL . can you tell what you exactly did in framework-res.apk ?
Thanks

I have a stock G2 and did the update to KitKat yesterday morning.. I played around with the camera and can take pics of inanimate objects fine.. However, when taking photos of people, animals, etc; I get this weird pixeling or over processing by the camera app.. This is in Normal mode with all stock settings - no flash. If I turn the flash on, the pic seems normal.
I understand the update was just released - just curious if anyone else can confirm this problem on their device.

I tried just clearing camera app data - didn't really seem to help. Could you post a pic?
i took a few test pics and only one came out like that , the rest came out fine, i have no idea if it was the camera or just because that perticular person was ugly
What i did is a full factory reset before updating to kitkat and factory reset again after updating

I did a full backup, will perform the factory reset shortly. Will report back if this helped me.
So doing a factory reset didn't help. It looks like its something with the Auto White Balance - If I put it in Incandescent mode manually, the pictures don't pixelate/over process.
