I have the same issue and I have tried everything suggested in addition to anything I can think of. Still no fix. However, it usually works if I retry the request a few times.

my Nexus 4 is fully compatible with the update
Stock no modifications, root, no recovery
while i was updating through wifi, my brother accidentally switched off the wireless router and disturbed the download
then i got back to my wifi, and unable to update even i keep pressing the Retry Download as in the picture
is there any way to reset or clear download cache something like that?

That's your Google Apps process that's crashing/force closing. It's really annoying when that keeps happening.
You can try these options;
1) Delete your Google account, then add the account back.
2) Go to application manager, search for play store and clear data.
Let me know if it worked or not.
Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done both the steps.
But Google play store is not working closing right after opening.

I would just backup whatever i can and do a factory reset. :good:

Make a backup of your phone with titanium backup or something like that.
Factory reset your phone that would fix the problem. Make sure you backup data and contacts before you factory reset the phone.

Sorry try this first, before you make a factory reset.
1. Go to MENU
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Go to APPS
4. Look for DOWNLOAD MANAGER under ALL
5. Disable it then enable it
Menu-> Settings-> Apps-> All-> Download Manager (Disable then enable)
That should do the trick.
If for some reason that doesnt work, try clearing your app cache, or deleting some recently downloaded apps. If this won't work you should do a factory reset as i said in my comment above.

There is no problem with whatsapp while installing. Probably you are running ART. If so, you can install whatsapp in dalvik mode & then switch to ART without problem.

Have you used lucky patcher? If yes, then find the odex file of the corresponding apk and delete it. If u havent used lucky patcher, IDK other methods except to wipe data.
