Hi can anyone solve this..I want to replace with previous app..but dnt want to uninstall then install because of data issue once I uninstalled it also deleted the data as well..how can I overwrite???
This is the error you get when trying to install a cracked .apk over an installed one that was cracked by someone else.
And since we have rules against warez....

INSTALL A LEGAL COPY OF THE APP, and you won't have this problem!
Solution: UNINSTALL, BUY the app, INSTALL -> problem solved!

use some backup-software backup your game data?
then uninstall it and install new game then restore your data.

You get it in the market.
Maybe you should use the search function.. just saying
I installed titanium back up and busybox like it asked but it still says not rooted. But busybox says its rooted.
Try installing SuperUser too.
thanks for that it works now. But for some reason when I try to uninstall creatouch it hangs and doesnt respond. Also anyone knw where the list of safe to remove applications are? Tried searching cant find it

That will keep reinstalling itself, so you need to also remove the apk from data/app-private with RootExplorer.

You can use THIS list as a guide, but everyone is different so what I might remove someone else may not and vice versa so use your own judgement when removing apps.

[sorry tried posting link, but im new and it doesn't allow me]
also do not touch the google stuff!!! specially gtalk. it's essential for communication between your phone and the android market, without it which you will not be able to download anything (as i learnt yesterday)
how do i remove them? with titanium backup? or a manual way? If so how?

With Titanium.
I wish you told me earlier. Now I have to reinstall everything.
I personally find that removing all the apps under the apps-private folder is the easiest and safest method. I just deleted them there and they are gone forever.
will try that out after my phone reinstalls. Oh well lesson learnt, so now ill be more cautious

That Link has the best solution...pick the apps you consider unwanted, move them to a temp folder, use your phone for a week, if there are no issues...rm the temp folder...
Before rm'ing, optionally you can do a backup of the temp folder to your PC, in case you need any apps later....
I find this method very reliable and issue-free
I've done searches and I can't find anything on it.
I'm trying to install ROM toolbox pro, something I've bought a long time ago, and I get that error and it doesn't install. How can I fix this?

Why this has not been fixed i do not know.
There are one of two problems that i know of that cause this.
1- there's some sort of remnant of a previous install still on your device and it won't install over the old files.
Find the folder and delete it or all the contents.
2- Something is screwy with the playstore app or google play services.
(going from memory here) clear cache of both apps and reset to factory versions. (you may have to clear data as well)
Visiting the play store will update the app again and things should work. you may need to restart your device.
This has been a problem since at least 2.2. I can't imagine a casual user is going to want to do the work to fix this very often if at all.
I'll have to check it out when I get home, I can't really do it at work

Worked! Thank you. I deleted the folder related to the app in data/data while in recovery. Installed fine

Even if I download it, another issue is I am not able to install any app. I think the issue could me the memory access. But since all these apps are not on my external sd card, why would the internal memory access. Be an issue

If it can't be found, maybe just disable it?
If it's an N900T (T-Mobile) it's baked into the firmware I think so cannot be removed.
I froze mine, so it doesn't run all the time. Much better that way, since if you had a virus or some other security issues, you could unfreeze it and find it actually helpful. Also deleting some apps could break your phone, for example my phone stop working properly when I froze beeming service for beep n go program which I uninstalled. It was easy to fix it by unfreezing.
I was able to uninstall it using Clean Master

How to remove all Google applications without causing a bootloop?
Hello, I want to remove all Google applications to replace them with microG. However, whenever I uninstall (with Titanium) all Google applications I get a bootloop.
I have read that there are ZIPs that can be installed via TWRP and delete them, but I have not found any.
I have a Redmi 4 Prime, I use this ROM:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HM4Pro_7.12.7_v9-6.0.zip
how is it going
so any xperiences so far?
it seems, that it is so obvious, or so weird i guess
not even a highly valueable 'why' reply...
before i was posting my own topic i was presented by this one here.
WTF! i am not able to find better than that so far:
