Okay so I have this metro card from Taiwan and whenever I place it against the back of my phone or if I rub it against my phone while my phone is on and unlocked my phone gives a little chime does anyone know what it exactly is and how to disable it?
Just to clarify the metro card is like a little sensor that you place on a small pad not a typical credit card no stripes the whole thing is basically a sensor
I was going to upload a picture but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment

Oh, and to disable NFC go to settings - wireless and networks - more - uncheck NFC.

Can the s4 active be unlocked with the service mode menu?
anyone knows?
Seriously, you guys need to add your device to your user profile. Going to be hard to get help otherwise.

If you read the title of the thread you can clearly see that im asking for the s4 active, thanks.
Been trying to do this using the servicemode method everyone is describing for the S4.
Phone will not go into the UMTS menu mode as described.
Some have said that a recent update killed this method?
Yes. I cannot get into the service mode. The phone reboots.

I'm trying to make a profile where my bluetooth will turn itself off, if music isn't playing for 2 minutes. Any idea how I would do about setting this up?

Hi guys, I have a tp-link router 150mbps, I was having problems with my internet when I had it installed about 3 weeks ago. And in the first days the wifi kept going on my phone and on pc it would say no internet connection on the wifi, so I kept having to reboot the router.... I phones the technician and he changed the channel from automatic to channel 4, I does it less but still does it... So I dont know if its a router problem! Maybe I should change channel again?
Well I thought I would change channel, I thought it was possible through the wifi but its not, in manual it says it has to connect via Ethernet cable... The only one I have is the one from wall to router, so I disconnected from wall and connected to pc, but I still could not get into configuration, I enter ip good, but does not open configuration... Does the router need to be connected to the wall (have internet) for me to access configuration?
Thanks, any help would be great!
Regards mitch

First set it on auto channel mode. Still if it doesnt work try to reset ur phone settings. It will probably start working if there is any problem in your phone side! All the best

It was on auto channel mode before and it was disconnecting more! As for my phone, the phone seems to be what makes wifi go! I dont understand... Im going to change rom but I dont think it will make a diffrence

If its ur phonevthen just do a factory reset or just reset setting! It will fix ur phone.
If youre on stock ROM then changing a rom wont make any diffrence!

This I were it all goes pear shaped..... My network provider forbids people to reset router... So if I was to do that I would get charged for a call out to fix it..... I cant even change password.... I thought I would be able to change the channel back to automatic, but the password is no longer "admin" :crying:

I dont know about the restrictions given by your ISP
Ony thing i can suggest you is change your ISP and get a new router for youself and not from the ISP

So You could have bought it from the market! That would give you full control on your router!

Hello everyone, I switched over from good'ol i9300 to note exynos today.
My question is how do you enable fast charging? It is grayed out as you can see from the screen shot.
Thank you in advance.

Read somewhere that it was available when the phone was switched off and charging, from the picture looks like there is a tick in the box but you are not able to interact.
So my guess is phone switched of and use the fast charger that came with the phone.
Found this, although it doesn't help you

Just a thought did you have the phone plugged into the charger at the time you went into the menus, perhaps it need to sense the charger to activate

I believe this not to be the case, this following video demonstrates the Galaxy Note 4 quick charging whilst being switched on:

Sorry if this is an obvious question but are you using the original charger and cable that comes with the phone? it will only work with these.
Indeed I am using original charger and original cable.
So what's happening here? =_=

Figured out wats going on.
Whilst plugged into usb/ac, the option become non-interactive.
Once I unplugged the cable I could make changes.
