I rooted my device and everything was working great.
My super SU app got upgraded thru Google play store and now if I open the app it tells me to update binaries. But that doesn't work. It stays at the message....
What can I do? I don't have a custom recovery because I am still on Knox 0x0
Thanks for your help....

You don't have root... If you did it via the de la vega method, remember that MJ3 firmware will now trip the Knox counter, then do it again. If you used anything else then don't know....
I do have root. Installed exposed and wanam also pen manager and everything works like a charm....

Oke, i had to install it manualy after flashing the file from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255190. CF-Auto-Root only works for the MDM rom, all ME ones and newer need the file in the link. You are probably not rooted.

Hey Tried to root my s4 earlier today but I couldn't get it to work. My baseband is xxuamdm. Used the odin method because it is the only method I've come across. It fails every time I use odin. Hope someone can help.

I also experience this at times. Try installing supersu from Play Store. Often also busybox needs to be installed. There are installers in Play Store.

Yes you can, although you won´t be able to flash a custom kernel/ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2479952
PS: Make sure to read the instruction and Q&As carefully before rooting!

No, unfortunately as of now it is not possible. However, you can root/flash/downgrade stock and use Xposed Framework with, e.g., Wanam Xposed.
This will not trip your Knox flag (it remains 0x0)

You don't install CWM nor do you use the ROM manager. You do exactly as described --> here <--. This is "Root de la Vega" Style by @designgears
Vega is not for N9005 yet
Now available. I was the first to use it DD

I want to use certain apps like Sky Go and Barclays Banking but they only work on unrooted devices.
Before on 4.2.2 I could use Voodoo Rootkeeper to hide it, which was great.
However, that is incompatible with 4.3.

I had similar issues on N7100 (Note 2) and the way round a rooted note 2 accessing Barclays (root detector) was installing an older version of Barclays app, in essence the app looks for SuperSU or Superuser app I believe.

Would cause issues I think, If the app looks for SuperSU or Superuser then it will still find it. You could always just run clean up and unroot then re-root I guess - But it depends on if you wanna re-root again or if you have 0x0 vs 0x1 etc -
I have 0x1, and I'd be willing to clean up but I guess I need computer to re-root?
