Remapping The partitions - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I know on my OG epic, that they had remapped the partitions for ICS and Jellybean to fit. Is is possible yet to remap the Partitions on the S4 so that the 1GB + in my system memory is going to waste?
I am useing Titanium Backup to determine the space allocation btw.

Plan swap sd card (phone<->tablet) but data must intact both

Hi,
I just wondering if someone did something similar to what i want?
I had a HTC incredible S (unrooted) with 8 GB sd card and Viewsonic V7 tablet rooted with 16SD (2 partition ext4 & Fat32). I planning to swap the SD card since i used/carry regurly the phone. My question is does simple copy and paste to the laptop/external HD all the files both SD card will work. I dont have a 3rd sdcard so i need a third storage device. I mean backup all the files using simple file explorer copy/paste and swap restore, will it work. Im a linux user so im wondering if maybe there some low level feature in the SD like boot on UUID or something similiar. im concern since my rooted tablet has a link2sd and some but not all program installed/link to the 16gb sdcard maybe will cause a problem like inode, hardlink etc problem related. My concern is the ext4 partition since all link apps installed in that partition.
How about a low level backup swap restore like DD/ddrescue or or similar imaging backup or simple rsync all files including hidden files.
(simple image DD the 8 GB and 16 gb and swap and restore the image).
Hope can someone did some similar task and share some info before i start this kind of process..

Swap partition

I see that a swap partition can be created on SGS3 to extend memories? Do you think it's possible to do it on the a500? This can be very good for the system.. 512 of ram is lite for ICS.... and JB...

How Much Storage Do You Have After Flashing CM10.1?

Just flashed CM10.1, went to storage, still only have 9gb of storage. Did i need to format "/system" too?
No...I've said it countless times in numerous threads
FOR MORE USABLE STORAGE SPACE WE NEED A NEW PARTITION LAYOUT
basically, debloating doesn't increase space. All the crap bloat is put into the system partition...whether or nit you have the bloat the system partition stays the same unless a dev includes a new partition layout in his Rom...which from my understanding requires kernel/ramdisk edits as well as actual scripts included in the zip to repartition the device
-hope that helps your understanding on why you still only have 9gb available

Free up more space after installing Cyanogenmod?

When I initially got my ATT Galaxy S4 32GB, it only had 24GB usable presumably all of the Samsung software using up 8GB. So I rooted and installed Cyanogenmod. My phone still only says that 24GB is usable. Shouldn't some of this memory been freed up when I got rid of Touchwiz? I wiped data and cache as instructed in the instructions. What gives?
No. The partition sizes don't change so you won't see a greater amount of memory.
Please see this thread. It's not directly addressing the same device, but it should answer your questions. Last I checked, they're working on a very unsafe alternative to messing with the PIT partition, and they're going the route of manually re-partitioning the device through a custom recovery (obviously very dangerous).

Partitions 1.3GB - 1.5GB

I have a small affair since CM resized the partitions, and some questions haunt me.
The system partition of my phone is in the initial format 600MB and 1.3 GB for data. As everyone will know CM changed partitions to 400MB and 1.5GB of data.
Approach: I would like to have a ROM of Ginger for sporadic use of the camera and any other issues with Nandroid saved. I understand that this requires the old system partitions that i have, and kk for regular use with current system partition, copied also with Nandroid.
The issue is if when move from one to another from the corresponding copies saved from the recovery also restores the size of the partitions or not.
If not, is it absolutely necessary to have the partitions on the current format of CM for KK?, What problems can be if left to the native format 600MB, 1.3GB?
Regards
Note: Edited to better understanding, sorry for my poor english.
