Hello. I have sometimes problems with camera that is not starting: black image. After restart all is ok. Tried with or without memory card, before and after hard reset, OTA and Odin flash and the problem is still there; rare but persistent. Someone else with same problem or just my N3 is doing this?

Having an issue that I cant seem to figure out. I have been using various roms eg Omega V7,S4 Google Edition V16, Fox Hound 1.1 etc. They all install fine, factory reset before and after wiping the various cashes as required. I also format the SD storage to be sure, but once up and running, apps installed, every time I restart the phone or for some reason it freezes it just get stuck at the white Samsung S4 logo.
If i go back in to recovery (TWRP 2.6.0.0) factory reset does nothing to fix this. I have also noticed that sometimes the internal SD shows as 0 Mb, and I have to reformat this to re-install a ROM. (Getting corrupt some how?) Only re-installing the ROM from fresh seems to get my phone up and running again. Until something happens. Any ideas?
I follow all instructions as detailed, and never come across this issue with my S3.
Ok after trying a few things the only thing that seemed to fix the problem was reflashing stock firmware using oden.
I had to reformat the internal storage again as this was acting like it was encrypted, which it was not. Think this problem that caused my phone not to boot when when restarted.
No Idea why it did this but its fixed now.

So simple and fast!
I have a rooted E7 with TWRP 2.5.6.0. The problem which I am facing is, that the phone randomly reboots. After this, something weird happens with the phone. The storage show that the files are present on memory, but the images aren't visible in gallery. Also if I try to take a screenshot, it gives some error. After manually rebooting the phone, everything starts working normally.
So, is anyone else facing the same issue??
Any solution for this random reboot issue?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
I experience random reboots on Gionee e7 too after KitKat update. It happens when I'm using the phone for certain tasks like browsing net, using camera, switching between multiple apps. I've rooted the phone now and have TWRP recovery. Was looking for some stable custom ROMs, but sadly nothing worthwhile found yet. So I guess I'll eventually flash stock Jelly bean for Gionee e7 now.

I have the same problem, with less of 1 month with the phone here, apparead random reboots, i can flash with GNQC or TWRP, CWM or other recovery, i have random reboots too... But i send my Gionee to the SAT here, i think that is problem of hardware....
I had been using rooted kitat for sometime. Everything was great. Then I installed a 5.0.2 Russian stock ROM and that ran fine too. But after a few weeks, I have been getting this problem. It seems the phone doesnt load apps and/or they keep crashing. The phone eventually hangs and reboots, and even gets stuck in a bootloop at times..I have tried flashing alternative roms through odin, i cleared the cache and wiped data through recovery but the problem persists...most of the apps that are glitching are google apps and sometimes systemui and phone....What else can I do?

im having the same problem on my G530H. does anybody know how to fix this???? its really annoying
Maybe you didn't factory reset before update to 5.0.2
Had a strange issue happen just a little bit ago figured I'd post something about it and see if anyone else has had a similar issue happen.
Was stock system-less rooted bootloader unlocked fastboot flashed to MHC19I ota.
Anyway.. My phone's audio sudden stopped working then a few moments later crashed and rebooted, Upon rebooting I tried to use google now and noticed my mic wasn't working which i thought was odd so i did a hard reboot.. and when they phone was back up and running the mic still wasn't working so i checked my speakers and they were also dead.. you tube would tell me an error occurred when trying to watch a video and google now would tell me it couldn't open the mic. I tried everything to fix it.. factory reset.. booted into twrp tried to clear cache/ fix permissions etc nothing worked. I just flashed the google factory images and relocked the bootloader () and I got it working again.. but im just wondering what could have caused such an issue considering i was stock everything with only a systemless root?
Hello.
I guess I am done with my S4(i9500). Too many strange problems since past one week.
So, I was on Halycon ROM and one fine morning, phone restarted and all apps started optimizing again. Ok no issues.
But now I noticed, whenever I restarted, 2-3 apps optimized everytime.
So did a clean flash and installed Cri5.
Now restored some apps and then 1 app optimizes on boot now. Is there a way to log which app is causing the problem?
There's one issue. Another issue is phone restarts randomly when gets up too hot and gets stuck on S4 boot screen. Have to remove battery and restart to boot it up..
Another issue is that the phone isn't being recognized by my PC. Tried Kies. Tried everything. I don't get the MTP menu when I connect the power cable.
Oh, and another issue, I guess my SD card is infected with a virus. Any recommended free antivirus for android?
Thanks if you could help me with one of the aforementioned problems.
Regards
Sounds like you need to flash back to stock in order to rid yourself of the software issues. If the issues are present on a stock ROM, it could be a hardware problem.
