Can anyone tell me why is there a 0 and a sd card in the device? Sd card meaning internal sd card.

So I want to format my sd card because I have a 16gig sd and put all my apps on the phone and its still half gone. I have no music on the sd. My question is, if I format/erase the sd card will it screw up my rom managment? Also in my root exsplorer there are files I am unsure wut they are. Any thoughts?

I had 4.9GB and then I had installed CM7 Nighties 161 and now i have 596kb and i have checked my SD card and there is nothing on there but it is appearing empty now i have installed CM7

try to format your SD card in your computer through card reader

i think your SD card is corrupt when flash cyanogen
your phone wont detect your sd card,
format it on your computer through card reader
My phone does detect the SD card as all my files show up but its just the memory which has dissapeared.

I get this error when I try to move apps to sd with apps2sd. Obviously, I have an sd card, which I use regularly.
How to fix? (wendyallisson where are you when I need you!)

Maybe your sd card needs formatting. Have had that problem before on another phone in the past.

Thats because u have Phone memory (1GB i guess) and the inbuilt SD Storage 11.6 gb or so
and u need to PUT in an External SD card so that u can move the apps

I just bought a new 64gb micro sd card
But run into all kinds of problems...
Extracting rar files from my micro sd card won't work, I get the error "wrong header type".
Extracting the same files from internal works fine.
Extracting a movie from internal to external sd works but the movie will only play for about 1 minute and then it says
"Unable to play video"
Anyone got some ideas...

Did you tried to format your sd card? That should help with your issue.

Most probably a fake.
Use H2testw to test the SD card:

I formatted exfat and fat32 but neither will work.
What do you mean by fake sd card..?

I formatted my SD card in EXT3/EXT4 format. Android 4.4 works fine

Fake SD cards do exist in masses.

Yep it's a fake I have a 32 gig made in China all sorts of problems ...just like yours. ... bought one that was made in Japan and no problems with exact same files

I have problems with my samsung microsd 64gb (10). Cant move apps to sd. When i upload my images and vodeos to my card, it show all corrupted on my phone. With my 32gb no problems.
Maybe fake samsung card? It was in a original samsung package.
I formatted to fat32 en exfat but thesame problem.
(Srry for my english)

Is there a way to swap my internal sdcard with my external sd card on 4.41 omni? On 4.3 i could edit buil.prop, and on 4.1-4.2 i edited vold.fstab. none of these work for 4.4.
