Is there a way to swap my internal sdcard with my external sd card on 4.41 omni? On 4.3 i could edit buil.prop, and on 4.1-4.2 i edited vold.fstab. none of these work for 4.4.

So i haven't been able to find anything about this topic and maybe i am just weird but because of how the note 2 sets up the storage it doesn't support apps to sd. Maybe i just use way too may apps but i have already filled the internal storage and have a blank 32gb class 10 sd card just being un used in my phone. I want to know if there is a hack to make the phone read the sd card as internal storage where everything gets stored and then i can use the internal storage for pictures and files cause i don't have many of those.

Root and use directory bind to move directories from internal to external. Will free up a lot of space.

Hi all,
I'm loving AOSP roms on this phone, but I can't get them to recognize my 64gb external SD card. It just says "blank SD card" when I try to mount it. TW roms have no problem with it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Its bc of the format on the sd card I believe fat32 is supported and exfat is not

Yeah, I ended up reformatting the card to Fat 32 and now it works like a charm. CM looks awesome on this screen and runs faster than CM on any other phone I've used.

Thanks! Formatted to fat32 and my 64gb micro sd is functioning now using Carbon (ASOP) on Galaxy S3.
For anyone with this problem and don't know what software for Windows to use... EaseUS Partition Manager worked like a charm for me.
Hey, I'm too cheap to buy an sd card lol, and I was wondering if I could repartition some of my userdata partition as a virtual sd card? I want to reallocate 4 gb if that helps. Thanks!

Hi all,
Can anyone help me with this problem?
I have a 32GB class 10 micro sd card and I have used it from s3.. when I went to put the card in my s4.. I was restoring some games from Titanium Backup and there is toast msgs saying External SD memory left 1.78mb..
How can it be if my card still have a storage of 25GB not used? Is the datas of the games in another partition or if I would need to format my sd card? To FAT or Exfat?

Look in the TWRP and or CWM folders and sub-folders on your external sdcard,
most likely you have many nandroid backups in those folders.
Or perhaps you have a lot of recorded videos on your externel sdcard.
If worst comes to worst copy all files and folders from externel sdcard to computer
and then remove the sdcard, connect it to computer and use this fat32 format utility
to reformat the card.

I've had stupid Sh*t like this happen with my S4 as well - with both internal and external SD - so I just reformatted them (in Recovery! not in windows) and its fixed the issue.

Can anyone tell me why is there a 0 and a sd card in the device? Sd card meaning internal sd card.
0 and sd card files seems very much alike..
