Just want to share the tips how to install BBM on our android our Tablet. If you go to play store, RIM said that BBM for android tablet has not been supported yet. There is a trick how to make it work.
Here is the step:
1. Download the application from this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2146216. Thanks a lot to redphx. credit goes to him. Follow the step there. In my case i change my device into samsung s3. (make sure your mobile data is available because unlike whatsapp which can run using wifi, this BBM need mobile data)
2. After activate our device then go to play store and your device will able to download and install it.
Please find attachment the screenshot of mine
Thanks

Yup, I really wonder WHY on earth does Blackberry postpone releasing the tablet compatible app. It just run as smooth as silk on our Tab 7.7
Still fails to install, device not compatible and when trying to install it OTA it fails also.
Give it a few minutes it must take it a few to sync up to google. Tried again and it installed just fine
work in my note n-8000

Hi there, it's redphx again. You may know me from APK Downloader, an Chrome extension for downloading APK from your PC
Today I'm exciting to introduce my newest app, Market Helper. Hope you'll find it useful
Below contents are copied from Market Helper's hompage. Please go to there for latest information
*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK *** I’ll not take responsibility for anything happen to you or your account
*** THIS APP IS FOR ROOTED DEVICES ONLY ***
( I’ll add some nice features for stock/non-rooted devices in later version )
What is this?
Market Helper is a tool for Android that helps users can change/fake their rooted devices to any other devices. It can make your Nexus 7 become Samsung Galaxy S3 in a few seconds. No reboot is required.
Why do I need to use this?
To download and install incompatible apps on your devices. For example, if you want to install Viber on your Nexus 7, switch it to Samsung Galaxy S3 and you’ll can. Or if you changed your DPI setting, you’ll find this app is very useful.
( I’ll update this section later ;P )
Why is this app awesome?
- It DOES NOT touch your build.prop or any system files so it’s easier and safer.
- You don’t have to reboot the device to update the change.
- You can switch back to your original device anytime, by using “Restore” feature or simply just reboot the device ( with wifi/3g is enabled )
- Totally free
Download link
Market Helper
Supports: Android 2.2+
Tested on Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy S3, running JellyBean 4.1.2
How to use?
1. Download and install the app:
2. Open the app. Select the device and carrier you want to change to ( [P] = Phone, [T] = Tablet )
3. Press Activate. Wait until it’s done
4. IMPORTANT: go to Android Device Manager to update the change ( just visit the page, you don’t need to do anything ). I’ll find a way to bypass this step in later versions
5. Have fun. Now you can download and install apps that you couldn’t before.
If you want to switch back to normal, select “Restore” in device list and press “Activate”, or simply reboot the device ( with wifi/3g is enabled )
Changelogs
2.0-beta : 08/20/2014
- Move devices list to server, so it’ll be easier to add more devices.
- Bug fixes
1.1 : 02/23/2013
- Supports Froyo
- Supports multiple accounts
- Adds ability to fake operator
- Add some devices
- Multiple bug fixes
1.01 : 02/14/2013
- Fixes "Token not found" error on 2.3.x devices
1.0 : 02/13/2013
- Initial version
Upcoming features
There are some interesting features that will be added in later versions. I’ll give more information sometime later. So stay tuned
Donation
If you love Market Helper ( or APK Downloader ) and find it useful, please consider make a donation. It will help me continue working on this app. I would really appreciate that
Sorry for my English, and greetings from Vietnam

This app only helps you install incompatible apps from play store, it doesn't mean that you can use it. About whatsapp, I think the only way to use it is editing build.prop file

Was trying to use this (following your directions) in hopes of downloading Real Racing 3. Unfortunately play store still says I can't. I'm wondering if I need to use this in conjunction with editing my build prop. Any ideas?
Edit: Or would it be better to try using the apk downloader?

Has anybody used this to get Wallet on a Galaxy 3?
Just curious if this will work with Amazon App Store?
Linking back Play Store to the old original device
Hi! Thanks for the great app!
But I have a problem now. I've restored the device to default (Motorola Xoom Wifi) and now I'm not able to install/update some apps that I've already installed before and that are fully compatible (like Google+). These apps simply doesn't appear if I search them into PlayStore from the tablet.
If I look at PlayStore via web, I see that I have two devices named Motorola Xoom. The last one is showing "incompatible" with apps like Google+ and the old one shows it's compatible, but when I click install, nothing happens into my Xoom.
I think I need to relink my "phisical" device to this "old Motorola Xoom" device in Play Store web, but I don't know how.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot!

Also, my device did come with google services preinstalled.
Hi, I'm trying to use app called ShareKM to share my PC keyboard and mouse with my smartphone. Unfortunatetly, when I start the program I get a notification toast saying that unrooted device support only USB connections. Thing is, I am rooted. Other apps use root without issues, I also used Root Checker from the app store to confirm and everything is great, it's just this app that is not supported.. Any thoughts? Maybe there is another way to root Note 3? I have SuperSU.

Thank you for the fast reply.
I just followed the instructions to install Dr. Ketan's 4.3 Rom. No need to root because it was already rooted.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47931890#post47931890
I too have this problem with ShareKM, although admittedly on a Galaxy Note 2 with 4.3 Custom ROM. Maybe the problem is 4.3?
I'm another AT&T Note 2 (4.3 DN3 ROM custom TW) user with this problem.
I will report back ASAP if I stumble upon a solution or an alternative app - I absolutely need ShareKM running too.
::::EDIT::::
Take Control is an app that is supposed to function like ShareKM, but mouse clicking doesn't work for me, and mouse control is laggy (apparently an issue with some Samsung devices). Also, it's Wifi-only.
Here's the link in case it helps someone else:

SUCCESS! :victory: This alpha Synergy Android client works over WiFi very similarly to ShareKM. Here's how:
1. Download / Install / Configure (if necessary) the Windows x86 Synergy Server (presumably Win x64, Linux, and Mac versions should work too).
http://synergy-foss.org/download/
1.a. Support to the dev if it works for you. I am going to donate after work. Even if it isn't updated, the dev deserves support for the current functional version. Period.
http://synergy-foss.org/download/
2. (If necessary) check your firewall settings to let Synergy through.
3. Download / Install / Configure the Android Synergy Client.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/synergyandroid/files/?source=navbar
3.a. Support the dev! Again, see reasoning on 1.a. (Actually, the donation link is broken. If someone finds a functional one, please let me know.)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/synergyandroid/
4. ???
5. PROFIT!
--NOTES / DISCLAIMERS--
-> I am using an AT&T Note 2 running (4.3 TW) Ditto Note 3. It appears both Note 3 (4.3 TW) and Note 2 (4.3 TW) users have been suffering the same ShareKM issue, so report back if this works on your Note 3 (TW 4.3).
-> I haven't figured out if bluetooth works yet, or if it is even supported. Please let me know if you get bluetooth working.
-> For 'Back', instead of right-mouse, use 'ESC'.
-> You have to wake up the Android manually when the mouse is moved to the other screen. Extremely minor if you ask me.
-> It appears that the Android Client does not support Synergy's password encryption. Please report back if you find out otherwise.

I use it to control my Nexus 7 (2012) with rooted KitKat 4.4.2
I already use Synergy for years to control my 2 pc's. It is worth a small donation!
I never managed to get it working on stock samsung kitkat 4.4.2, only on google rom.
I have a Note 3 (900A) as well and I get the same message even though every one of my other apps root correctly.
I noticed SuperSU doesn't even have a log of it ever asking for root.
I think the problem is more than just rooting. The program USED to work in the past but I noticed after adding bluetooth connectivity and adding another ROM slot with Bootstrap it randomly stopped working..
I tried reinstalling driver but still no luck..
Synergy is too complicated.
ShareKM is just plug-in and boom instant connectivity. Don't even have to touch my phone.
Some people might like this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...erver&rdid=com.MarcelloAlbano.LazyDroidServer
Might just leave that as a tab open to type texts.
I really do miss just pressing ctrl+win tho
---------- Post added at 12:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:44 AM ----------
I have tried uninstalling the Note 3 drivers (both Android ADB and the one that comes up after plugging in) but I don't think it is deep enough because even after uninstalling in Device Manager there is no reinstallation progress window.
So... anybody know how to completely uninstall the phone drivers? lol
They seem to be really in there.
I have tried three different ROMs on my Note 2 (SGH-I317) and I get this issue on all three. It works perfectly fine on my Galaxy S4 (jfltecan) using CM11, but when i installed the same for my Note, no luck. I think its something wrong with the phone itself or how the root registers on the phone

Same with me. It works perfecty fine with my att s2 and my mom's att s4.
For some reason on my stock rom it like STOPPED working after i rooted it.
Hi just resurrected my tab 10.1 again because of the release of the ps4 remote play feature released by Sony a few days ago. Using files provided by xda member (xperiaplaystation)
His thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/4-4-4-stock-xperia-devices-ps4-remote-t2868092
I have successfully got my trusty tab 10.1 to connect to my ps4 and am able to use it as a second screen to play games. Every thing works as it should I just haven't got the ds4 controller to connect yet as I run out of time at work but will have a go tonight.
I just wanted to post this because of all the help and roms and stuff I have got from xda over the years and thought it was a major upgrade:good for a tablet that keeps on giving more.
I always wanted to be able to use a good ten inch size tablet as a screen for my console but with none available with a Hdmi input it wasn't possible until now and offcorse the xda member who provided the files and tutorial
Anyway I'm here to help anyone wishing to get it working on there galaxy tab 10.1 p7510 wifi also have made a video showing it working and also showing system settings displaying the rom I'm on and build details ect.
I will upload the video if allowed.
I have now added a video it is on page 2 because I couldn't seem to get it on this original post.

galaxy tab 10.1 cross play ps4
new to the forum given the restrictions that exist, I just post directly to the page that deals with the PS4 connection with all android.
So I post here.
Because I work the application of remote play on a Galaxy Tab 10.1. in omni 4.4.4 .
I states that my tab suffers no the attence in this rom.
I like all a problem with DS4 controller.
So I use the workaround through a second account on my PS4 but I have a huge lag on my main account.I realized that if I stay on my second account the lag is almost completely reduced.
For all question is here. : D

Okay i think i got it to work
HI for some reason twerp recovery won't flash the file so I had to unzip the files and then using the app root explorer manually put the files in the right folders of you tab and it works . The files when unzipped will be named with the location in witch they must go. There are four files two go in system permissions and the other two in another folder I'll have to check later and post but in the mean time if you go to the forum link in my original post and read that all the info is there. I think about page 50 onwards is where the info got it working for me.
remote play
Hello, on my gtab 10.1 there is a variable lag . I explains remote play work almost immediately " almost no lag " has moments and all at once big lag. it is playable but no too fast game . The biggest lag are when I go in menu lines of the disappointed in the welcome screen of her ps4.
You have a lag ?
Under what rom are you?
Here is the video it shows what rom I'm on and other details. I don't experiance any lag but that could be one or two things one it could be my connection speed of my Internet which is 50 meg broadband also it could be the fact that I am playing a downloaded game from the PS store rather than a blue ray game I don't have one to test right now until GTA comes out on 18 November. I will try and borrow a game from a mate and check lag if I still have none I will do another video to show.

Thank you for the answer.
I tried on Galaxy S2 I meet no problem of lag thus I think that it comes from my Galaxy Tab. Let be my Rom or maybe the connection with the PS4 and the galaxy tab . I followed the tuto first on Galaxy Tab and tuto 2 on Galaxy s2. I am more profoundly going to accentuate the question.
Verry thanks.
Hi all
I have a Jadoo4 stick that runs on Android, similar to Chromecast with HDMI. It has an app to watch live TV from East Asia.
I made an APK of that app, but whenever I try to install it on other devices (like my phone), it fails.
I think because it is because of I need to port it to my phone (oneplus 3t), but I'm not sure of that, nor I'm capable of porting it.
The specs of the device (Jadoo4) that runs the app are the following :
Quad Core Processor
1 GB RAM
8 GB Flash Memory
Android 4.4.2
HDMI Video Output Supports [email protected] Hardware Decoding Supports Micro SD Supports USB
On my phone I run Android 7.1.
This is the link to the apk:

I would gladly appreciate it if someone could help me out.

Hey,
As a start point, it would help, if you tell us, how did you create the apk?
Greetings

Hi first of all, sorry for the late reply.
As a said, the stick runs android so it has Google Play Store tire on it
I downloaded an app called apk extractor, and made the apk with it.
So, I can successfully install the app on my phone with LinOS7.1. But when I start the app I got the error message. "Device not supported"
The only way to remove this warning would be to disable the check in the compiled code in the apk.

Thanks for checking it out. I know that that's the error. But unfortunately i don't have the skills to disable the check.
Do you have the necessary skills to do so?
I would gladly appreciate it.

Hey there,
am trying to get the sixaxis app to work with my p9 lite now, but the applications lists my devices as "incompatible" as it can't get the device's Bluetooth driver configured properly. I read somewhere that the required packages to access this driver is not available on the stock rom but it is available in Cyanogen mod/ lineage OS . if someone can confirm this, it would be a great help, cause i don't want to go through the hassle of installing everything back just to find that the device is still incompatible anyways...
PS: as a proof on concept, i have a galaxy grand prime with Cyanogen mod already running on it, the app worked fine and the controller paired there, but still maybe the device was compatible anyway even without Cyanogen mod on.
It will work.-don't forget to give me a thanks!
