Hi,I changed my T-Mobile simcard to non isis simcard, And downloaded Google Wallet ....but the options of exchanging the funding source is nowhere to be seen in the app or the funding source doesn't appear anymore in my wallet.
Does it mean that Google Wallet doesn't work in my LG G2 even i change the simcard to non isis? Any thoughts?
What do you mean by changing the funding source? Like changing the credit card used?

Have you noticed it before....in My Wallet where your profile pic is located you can change the funding source or what card should be used(Nexus 4). But now in my new LG G2 after i download the wallet app it's not there anymore.
I'm assuming that's because the G2 has a menu soft key. If you are in my wallet, press the menu soft key. Select settings and the cards are the first option.
Ok, I just looked. I understand what you're asking about now. not sure.....
---------- Post added at 12:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:56 AM ----------
I don't see why it would matter in most cases. When purchasing online with wallet, you can click on the top right to bring up a list of funding choices. The default is checked, but you can choose another option that's on file. Not sure about other uses, but I would assume that it's similar.

Hi,
My phone which was just sat by me doing nothing in particular (just a Facebook notification) and I see an icon I'd not seen before. I tapped on it and I am being prompted to accept a privacy policy for the "Samsung Denial Log Reporting Service"...
Err WTF is this and should I be accepting it. I'm particularly concerned as I'm on MH8 which I'm not keen on, FW status I got back to official, although of course the boot loader is still locked and gives the Knox warranty error messages if I try and downgrade.
Any ideas? A Google and forum search hasn't turned up anything which is odd, can't believe I'm the first to see this.
I'd also like to know the answer as it popped up on mine last week

Samsung Ireland, in their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SamsungIreland) has been asked about the "Samsung Denial Log Reporting Service" and them said "This is genuine. It's for Samsung Knox - a new security system we are releasing for S4 and future products. You can find out more here: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/mobile/solution/security/samsung-knox"
I still need to understand what it is.
I'm not sure if I want to accept or decline...

after more google search, I found a document
https://cdn.samsungknox.com/system/files/whitepaper/files/Samsung_KNOX_Glossary.pdf
and in this document, at page 7, there is written
Denial Log:
- Captures SE for Android denials in Enforcement mode on the device and uploads
them to a Samsung Server.
- These denial logs are stored on the device at:
/data/misc/audit/audit.log and audit.old).
Naturally I don't want my S4 to upload anything, anywhere.
Some news on this.
Hi.
I've just had the same message. What I found ...
Samsung Ireland Facebook : "Hi Alan, This is genuine. It's for Samsung Knox - a new security system we are releasing for S4 and future products. You can find out more here: (samsung's website) /global/business/mobile/solution/security/samsung-knox 12 September at 11:18
Me
OK. So they are releasing an enterprise level security app. Fine with that. As I my phone isn't a company phone, but a personal one, what benefit will I gain? And, therefore, do I need to install it? If so why? From samsung's website (I can't post URLs yet, so add the domain dot com manually) /global/microsite/galaxys4/lifetask.html#page=knox ... "While S4 includes the features of Samsung KNOX, the solution is activated by the IT administrators of your company. Please also note the service availability may vary by the market your company operates."
So, for a personal user, this is a pointless app. It gets installed, but never activated as I'm not using a company phone.

I am pretty sure I am not able to root my At&t GN3 MJ5 because KNOX is force closing the app which Kingo uploads to root.
Whenever I try ot use Kingo, I cause the "prevention information" error which tells me "an app has been force closed due to an attempt at accessing system on your device".
I have done it so many times that now after a reboot, I see the "denial log" service asking for permission to upload the denial logs.
based on info in this thread, its clear that samsung wants to know what app it is force closing (what app is trying to get root access) so that they can design future security updates to prevent us from rooting.
Really ****ty if you ask me. DO NOT allow the denial logs! **** you samsung .. I thought you were a good company but now you are just making things difficult for us. You sold me a car with a hood welded shut. (Samsung chat admits there is no way to disable KNOX security on GN3).
I wont be a samsung customer for long..

Update to my last post,
I spoke with Samsung again. This time I said I'm a dev and I understand root would void my warranty but I need to do it. First they tried to help me Force close the KNOX related apps, which I did (Klingo still didnt work and the same "prevention information" notice appears each time I try), then they gave me the number to KNOX so I can ask them.
I encourage everyone to call and voice your opinion that you don't like KNOX force closing apps that it deems are a security risk, without letting us disable that "Safety" feature. Its really not for safety after all, its to make modifying our own phones more difficult.

i'm having screen issues (phone keep face dialing even though screen is off). i think i need a replacement device. i'm with verizon.
i am rooted, have cwr installed, and have a debloated version of 12b installed.
do i need to go through the hassle of putting the phone back into its factory state before taking it in for replacement, or do they not really care about that anymore and i can just take it in as-is?
thanks for the info!
I'm living in Europe, Sweden, in here we actually have an EU-directive that states the owners right to run the firmware of their own choice and that manufacturers must prove that any such custom software IS the reason a device has failed before voiding any warranties.
But still, I ALWAYS return to stock before any service is done, just to get out of the hassle of explaining this to service companies.
Return to stock, that's what I've have done.
Be happy. It's much more fun that way.

Just as @Kaherdin said, to avoid any hassle with service reps, just reflash stock ROM and you should be good to go.
Can you perform a sensor test? Seems to me your proximity sensor might be an issue. It's somewhere in the hidden menu, not exactly sure where. Also, see if the problem persists after flashing back to stock.

can you tell me how to get to hidden menu? i tried two different codes from two different threads and neither worked. would LOVE to be able to perform a sensor test.

@byproxy sure. Open the dialer and type 3845#*xxx# where xxx is the model number of your phone. Verizon iz VS980, so I think 980 should work. I really can't say, I have an international D802, so I don't know :/
EDIT: found it.
HiddenMenu and Dialer access enabler
- For some reason, Verizon omitted the HiddenMenus. The apk was absent and they disabled access to most secret codes via the dialer. This adds the newest version of LG's HiddenMenu/AAT apks and enables access via the following dialer codes:
##LGSERVICEMENU - Gets you into the main LG HiddenMenu
##PROGRAM - Verizon's specific menu
##AATEST - AAT menu
##FEATURE - Another VZW menu
##DEBUG

Hi all, today I noticed Computrace Agent installed on my Galaxy s5 I have looked around online and some threads on here but no one has found a way to remove it.
There has to be a way right?
I also have a G3 on EE any chance that will be effected?

as far as i can tell computrace is insurance against it getting stolen from EE. thats how they lock it up and blacklist IMEIs
so anyone actually wantinbg to remove it isnt doing a good thing. also removing it is aiding theft of the device so im pretty sure mods will lock this up
I've just found this running on my s5
I use an EE sim but the phone was bought sim-free and unlocked so why is it on my phone?
I installed the polish lollipop ROM so I wondered if it came from that but it sounds like it's been around a while
If I uninstall it I get a Google popup message saying
"Allow Google to regularly check device activity for security problems and prevent our earn about potential harm"
If I chose decline, the app still reappears after a few seconds

In wondering now if the Samsung 'findmyphone' service (in security settings) uses conputrace.
If I go to find my phone and try and locate my phone, it seems to struggle/take longer if i uninstall computrace. When it auto reinstalls the find my phone can tell where it is.

When they get it. Isn't it rolling out starting now? I know that it won't happen instantaneously but once they get it, I am interested in knowing if they get the option of enabling VoLTE with a non-Verizon branded device on their line.
Nope haven't heard or seen anything about the n6 being pushed yet
I will flash as soon as i see it. I will try my best to remember to post back...
What exactly do you want me to test? voice and data at the same time?
Please grab the zip before u update. If its a staged rollout it would help others update sooner

Thanks, first you have to enable VoLTE on your line. So after you get 5.1, you would follow the instructions below to enable VoLTE on your line. It's Step 5 below that I am interested in - does a non-Verizon branded device show up as compatible with HD Voice feature?
http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/advanced-calling-faqs/
You have to remove any incompatible features from your line:
Ringback Tones
Slacker Radio Tones
Caller Name ID
Company Name ID
Then you:
1. Sign in to My Verizon.
2. Click Manage My Account and select Manage Products & Apps.
3. Click the Get Products tab at the top of the page.
4. Click Get it now to select the product or service you wish to purchase.
5. When the checkout window opens, choose the compatible devices you'd like HD Voice added to.
6. Click Confirm Purchase to complete the checkout process for the selected devices.
7. Click OK on the confirmation screen. If applicable, a free text message with a link to download the app from the App Store will be sent to the device/s you've selected.
There is another way to do it on certain Advanced Calling 1.0-capable devices (such as LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and Motorola Droid Turbo). These phones allow you to get Advanced Calling 1.0 right from your own devices. Simply follow these steps:
Go to Settings.
Tap Advanced Calling under WIRELESS NETWORKS.
Tap Activate Advanced Calling and follow on-screen instruction.
You've successfully added Advanced Calling 1.0.
Business customers: You can add the HD Voice feature in the My Business Account portal as you normally do or by contacting your company's Verizon Wireless administrator.

I want to know b/c I want a white N6 and if there were any problems with VoLTE on the non-Verizon branded N6, I would opt for the Verizon blue one. Please let us know if you can do simultaneous voice + data when you update to 5.1, thank you!!!!
Just a FYI... I just went into my account and it shows that HD voice is compatible with my line (n6 from moto). I've had the n6 for a couple months. I was able to set it up through the account but obviously won't be able to try it until 5.1. But at this point, I'm feeling pretty good about it working right out of the box when 5.1 drops.

Verizon Business line
I have a Nexus 6 on a Verizon government/business line. I'll follow up after Android 5.1 drops and let you all know if I get simultaneous voice and data. My line has unlimited data. I am not able to manage my account, so if a feature needs to get added, I need to get my business office to set that up.
I believe VoLTE is coming as standard in 5.1 regardless of carrier. We may be able to use it in custom ROM anyways.

I'm sure Verizon will find a way to screw us. Its a nexus... Didn't go so well the last time. Wasnt falling for the same tricks again.
How do I get the "Just Once" and "Default" options to appear when choosing an app?
I'm a little frustrated withone thing on the S7 Edge: Once you pick an app it sets it to default with no option to use the app "Just Once".
This is what I'm talking about: http://www.howtogeek.com/231392/HOW-TO-EASILY-SELECT-YOUR-DEFAULT-APPS-IN-ANDROID-6.0/
This article specifically discusses 6.0 Marshmallow, so I think this should be there? Perhaps Samsung or T-Mobile has removed this for some head scratching reason.
There are some apps that I so want to have a default for. And some I DEFINITELY want to be able to choose each time. For example, if I want to navigate to an address, I'm picking Waze, but if I ust want other information about the business at an address I'm picking google maps. I shouldn't have to copy and paste or visits the default app settings every time I want to do this. For some people they may ant to make one call with the dialer and another call with skype. They also shouldn't have to jump through hoops to do this.
I've attached a sample screen of this issue.
So the Question for this Q&A thread is is this happening to everyone or just me, and can it be fixed? Is there an option, a hack, or an app that can fix this?
It's touch wiz: never! Seriously, I would like to know as well but I think I've already answered my question.

Did Samsung Remove It Or Google?
I tried better open with yesterday and it seemed to have no effect. I'll try the other one.
I think we need an app that becomes the default for all categories and then let's us pick from there.
Better Open With needs to be choosing as the default upon first run and that app brings up the list every time if you choose to do so.
OK, I'll try it again. It didn't give me that option and it wasn't intuitive. I just figured it wasn't what I needed.
You're right. Thanks for clarifying. That seems to solve the problem!!!
Thanks.
