I'm asking @AndreiLux to please add support to his Perseus kernel for the sm-n900 exynos note 3. He is looking for some sort of confirmation that the Note 3 community is interested and will support his work. If you don't know who @AndreiLux is or about his Perseus Kernel (first of all, who are you? ) here's link to his github and changelog for his kernel.

I've been a bit disappointed in the non-US, non-European support towards my work on the Exynos S4. I correlate that the same will happen on the Exynos N3.
If there is enough public demand for it I might do a blind build with the primary features. Until now, I haven't seen really great demand.

Everyone please chime in if you're interested. Again this thread is for the Exynos chipset.
I had an N7100 before. Always using Perseus Kenel. Now i'm with an N900 (exynos). I really miss Perseus features. Would be really great.

Please build us a Kernel!!
We need synapse for our note 3. Have it on my s4 and cant live without it now.
Loved your work. Please do it for Note 3.
I'd want his kernel too.. the problem is, he doesen't want to buy the n3.. and.. i sad him we could create a pigghy bank to help him to buy it.. but.. he doesen't want a note, too big for him..
Well, i'm already pro over the pigghy bank, if he changes his idea, welcome!

From his reply, he's willing to do a blind build for us. He would just need proper feedback from the users.

Yo that's what i red.. the problem is.. without the device is difficult to create a kernel
My n7100 was great only because perseus kernel. I hope that n900 will get it soon (please include voltage control) also i used once option in deep sleep battery saver to manage cores and it permanently turned off 3 cores to next boot so hmp is possible
Was using perseus kernel on note 2, would be great to see it on note 3 sm-n900

Same here, Used it on my Note 2, cant wait to get it on Note 3..
I too own a Galaxy Note III and would love to get it.
Though I am not sure what it exactly is(if someone could explain it that would be really fanstastic) but from what I have read about it, it looks like it would be something really cool to have which would increase the battery life and the overall experience of using the device.
Wish this fantastic kernel would come to the SD 800 version (SM-9005)

What are you offering the community that you feel isn't already available through the great developers we already have?
I can help but I would like a change log over stock.

Just post your rom on the forums and add the details and make it look convincing. You will be surprised how people will be willing to voulanteer without you having to ask them. Just make sure you cover the details carefully. Go for it, you don't need to reason or explain to people why your rom will be better it will speak for itself, basically the more options out there the better for us all.

Or you could just flash an established rom

I currently have an S4 and am upgrading to a Note 3. If one of you guys has an S4 and run the 3minit framework, you know how that piece of software is amazing. I would be really really disappointing to not have that ported to the Note 3, i donated and bought the app and i'd be full of regrets if that frameworks didnt get the port. Does anybody know if it's possible, i PM'd the 3minit dev, hopefully he can come here and make my day.
If a fundign campaign is necessairy, how many of you would chip in to get the dev a Note 3 so he can port it for us?

Its far from being as good. 3minit is the Cadillac of customization. Wanam has bugs and issues, not nearly as many options. I have wanam installed and its nice but i just wished i could get 3minit back.

still no movement on this front huh?
No. But If you continue to bump more 3minit framework threads a release for Note 3 will be here soon.

The dev replied to me telling me he had some personal issues and was not able to get back to me earlier but he said that if we could fund him a note 3 he would then work on the framework and port it to our phone. So fund raising or forget?

Funding a Note 3 won't solve his personal issues if he is dealing with them. - You could fund raise if theres enough interest, but from the looks of it on this thread, there doesn't seem to be enough. It's a shame, it does look good, but sometimes good things come to an end and you have to move on.
EDIT: for the record Wanam has been having a few updates lately to solve stability and bug issues, so as Jaythenut said, maybe switch to that as it is just as good.

Note 3 so he can port it for us?
I ended up installed the Wanam Xposed Framework. While I read some posts where people disagreed in Wanam having similar capabilities, there were in fact more areas of detailed modification than I had with 3minit framework on my S2.
This isn't me giving my "opinion" of liking one or the other better, but that after using both, it's very easy to observe that there are flat-out many more areas with more options to modify numerous parts of your system with Wanam.
I loved 3minit, but Wanam did what I needed and then some.
hmm. what about Xblast? they are all about the same right?

3minit on the s4 is much more detailed than wanam. I guess the s2 had limited functionality

I would love to help fund but I am broker than a joke, but I do hope so bad that He gets that up and running because I also purchased the app, just got my Note3 Yesterday and just rooted today. Here I am downloading Jamison's Infamous ROM and then I'm like "Oh No What About 3Minit". Missing it already

i think you have to wait for a stable app which doesnt have a problem with exynos 5420.
but come on what do you want to do with 3.0 Ghz processor
it is very unnecessary and "if it is even possible" it would just drain your battery, it won't give you a supersonic performance.
You would need a kernel with oc support and there aren't any out yet. You will just have to wait

Just give it a few weeks until the kernels get into the devs hands.
Samsung did release open source kernels for the note 3 but it seems not all models yet.
Edit: Nvm it seems they did release the kernels for all in another article.

Doesn't matter, Samsung's source is always so dated and hacked up its almost unusable. Hell in the Note 2 source you had to add the touch screen drivers. They *forgot* them.

still have custom kernels available like on my note 2 oc'ed to 1.9ghz. Might be a pain in the ass but atleast we got them. I think your a dev though so im not going to argue with your opinion, you might know a little more than me
rofl the phone already runs hot if you're doing anything that requires most of the current stock processor speed...overclocking is a bad idea

You could say that I am. And yes, a few kernels run the note 2 up to 1.9 and 2.0. I personally run my own compiled kernel from the devil kernel's source. With a few editions of my own
Give it time. It will come, however 3.0 is not even reasonable. If we see an OC, you're probably looking like 2.5 at the max.
I would never say 3 is possible. Also I would not see a need to oc at the moment when is already smooth. More effective would be custom rom

having played around with many Samsung phones, I've always seen them get about 30 to 40 percent higher frequencies, hence why my Droid Charge was able to be overclocked to 1.3 gigahertz, and the Galaxy Note 2 was able to get over clocked to 2 gigahertz. we will probably see 2.8 has the highest stable

They are both practically the same when it comes to raw performance. Samsung made sure of that.
The differences are the 4G vs 3G. 4K recording vs 1080p. And lastly, loads of custom support vs lesser custom support.

They say the Tab S did receive the MM update, if it is true can we port it? Since Tab S has the same exact Exynos as the Note 3.
But I also not sure since the update arrive for Tab S LTE, and the LTE is the Snapdragon right?

S5 Exynos already have a MM update but we didn't see any port from that so I guess they couldn't as I said before Exynos is not an open source maybe this is the reason why we must wait for Samsung update
So are we getting a real update to MM or we are just hoping?!
