Hi, I have softbricked my phone because I tried to change from stock rom to Sim free United Kingdom BTU rom downloaded from Sammobile. To save my phone, i need 5 stock files like these:
AP_N9005ZHUBMI7_xxxxxxx_REVxx_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
BL_N9005ZHUBMI7_xxxxxxx_REVxx_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
CP_N9005XXUBMI5_REVxx_CLxxxxxxx.tar.md5
CSC_TGY_N9005ZZHBMI7_xxxxxxx_REVxx_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5
and .pit file for 16G N9005.
If you are in HK, please help me so i can download the files somewhere.
Thanks a lot

Hi I just got a Note 3 on eBay, I think the seller was from Hong Kong but they opened it and installed Singaporean firmware on it.
I want it to run HK firmware but I heard about all these issues with the partition? I'm confused, which firmware am I allowed to install? I have XSP so I think that is Singapore.
I have a Rose Gold White 32GB.

Yes, you are right that the HK firmware can not be installed on another Note 3 due to different PIT file.
What is your Original CSC? You can check it with Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app.

Sorry, Sony was very easy for me to flash, I am seriously confused. I just want a firmware where there is Traditional Chinese. My Sony Z2 with German firmware had all the languages, weird that Samsung doesn't include all. So can anyone please direct me? I don't want to flash the wrong firmware and brick it. Thanks.

Since your phone is XSP now, you MAY NEED the PIT file from the HK phone to flash the HK firmware.
Search in the forum for the PIT file and also the instruction.
Hello.

AP: N9005XXUGNH1

Nope, CSC should be EUR (EUR = Greece). NG1 (actually GNG1) is just a Version.
You can use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser' to find the firmware for your device.
I think you will find that version is Portugal MEO build. you can find it on SAM MOBILE
if you cannot find it, use the filters and look for Portugal version.
sorry i would post a link but this is my first post.
thanks
Hello there,
I have downloaded the official version of GT-i9500 Lollipop 5.0.1 ROM , Russia release , from Sammobile. Its a typical odin version single tar file. If I have install this on my Indian Galaxy S4 (GT-i9500) , by pointing the Odin (3.09) AP/PDA to the corresponding tar file alone , will it succeed ?
I have seen a couple of threads showing installation of russian version on other phones, but in that all, the zip file contains , 4 tar file for each section , pda, ser and so on. So I doubted if I proceed with only pointing the PDA and rest 3 section as blank on my Indian versino of S4, will there be any problem ? As I am using it as a daily driver, I dont want to experiment and see the result.
Please comment
Cheers,
KiK

Hey ya... Alright, so you mean to say not to bother about the other 3 columns only to fill with AP/PDA with the downloaded tar file, So have you tried this before ? I know it works for same country ROMs , but not sure about a different country, so wanted the confirmation. If someone tried and found it working then I will go for it.
Cheers,
KiK
Alright, Good to go with Lollipop Russia 5.0.1
Hey Folks, I tried myself upgrading my GS4 with the official lollipop 5.0.1 Russia release on my India Phone, and it works fine. Just need to download the tar file from sammobile and point that in AP/PDA section of Odin 3.09, and start it off, Done ! It feel refreshing the new look and performance after the upgrade

Pit files are for base firmware and phone. You need a Lollipop PIT (I presume) for the N9005. And the best .pit is your own .pit which you can pull with adb.
And remember that .pit rhymes with s**t because USE PIT ONLY IN CASE S**T.
If you're on Lollipop already, you don't need a .pit and repartitioning, just Odin the Vodafone firmware.
So are you saying flash the unbranded polish rom first for lollipop as I'm currently on kit kat then flash the Vodafone lollipop after that? That doesn't make sense? I thought unbranded and branded devices had different partition sizes or am.i confused? Cheers Andy
You should probably have quoted your original post. It would've made things much clearer.
He's getting a size error in ODIN on flashing the branded ROM.
From what I've seen over the course of several updates where people had the same issue, that requires a pit file.
Some branded versions have a size difference, particularly between countries. UK Vodafone and BTU can usually be used interchangeably, because they're developed by the same local Samsung team. But trying a branded rom over a foreign unbranded ROM occasionally results in a filesize error when it concerns new Android versions.
The Note 3 had the same issue with DBT 4.4 over XEO. (which, interestingly, are both unbranded.)

So do you think I could go from kit kat uk btu to lollipop Vodafone? Or will a pit file be required - if I can find one?
BONSOIR . I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WHEN I TRIED TO UPDATE MY NOTE 3 WITH UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 4.3 FIRWARE TO ANOTHER FIRWARE 5.0 KSA
PDA : N9005XXUGBOEA
CSC : N9005OJVGBOE4
WITH ODIN 3.9
IN BOOTLODER A ERROR MESSAGE Invalid ext4 Image
PLEASE HELP ME TO RE ACTIV MY DEVICE
Have you tried connecting the phone to Kies or Smartswitch and performing a recovery?
I am not sure what you were trying to do, but in Odin to flash a ROM you need to put the file under AP tab (which is formerly known as PDA for older versions of Odin) to flash the ROM successfully. Under Bootloader you should only select Bootloader file, if you have it separately, same goes for CSC and CP (CP is Modem by the way).
PIT file!!!

I have a Note 3 Originally from KSA.
Some days before it's WiFi and Bluetooth didn't turning on. It stayed grey when trying to turning on.
I have Factory reset twice.
Then Flashed. UAE lollipop, Nordic Countries Lollipop. Egypt Lollipop.
But issue not solved.
Tried to Flash Hong Kong Nad Taiwan Lollipop. Both failed on EXT4 even Flashing with a pit file.
Any Idea.
