Hello. I am dying to get the 3g version of this amazing tablet. Anyone has idea about its release date ? and usually how long does it take for a cellular version to be released ?
Same here, please any one share any info about its release and price

Do think there will be any way to get an updated hd2 in the UK, why would anyone get the older version if a 1 gig version is available?
The 1Gig version is a t-mobile US version, which won't work on 3G bands in the UK.
does anyone know if Tmobile plans to bring a similar spec to the UK, i'm currently holding off buying a HD2 to see what else comes out, I could upgrade now but it seems the best policy is to wait.
You can hold off forever while waiting for the next big thing. I'd just bite the bullet and live with the fact that you have a great device, even if it isn't going to be the latest and greatest for long.
The 1GB ROM was specially requested by T-Mobile US - can't see T-Mobile UK asking for the same...
Hi does anyone know whether we will be able to buy the 4G version that isn't going to be locked into a particular carrier?
Just I am in the Philippines and they are generally about the last country in the world to get things like this - so i would have to wait until September or 1Q 2012 before i could buy it here...
Also can a carrier locked version be unlocked at all?
Thanks in advance
The only carrier version that has been announced so far is for Verizon, expected to come out in July with LTE. No other information has been released
I've been searching heavily, and I can not seem to find any information whatsoever on the 3G versions of the tab. I find many sites with specs on the 3G version, and I know Amazon Germany lets you pre-order a 3G version, but I can not find a place to order one in the US.
Is it coming out much later? Because I am really tempted to just import one from Europe if the 3G version isn't coming out for a while.
Any info is appreciated. And yes I know the Verizon one for LTE is coming out next month, no need to link me that one, purely interested in 3G on AT&T frequencies.
Very strange to see someone from US thinking about importing something from EU, usually it's the other way arond
I also haven't heard anything about the 3G version in US.
In Europe it seems to come out by end of June/beginning of July. Until now, only 16GB version has been shown in online shops. White one seems to come first, followed by gray version mid July.
Just wondering if anyone has the scoop on a possible US release for the wifi version?

Not too sure about that, but the Verizon LTE version has been confirmed... though I'd steer clear of that really...
The general idea seems to be that with the LTE version coming out in a few weeks, it will be a while.

The device have to be Carrier-unlocked (legal) and may be used with any GSM carrier that uses a frequency or band that this device supports. A SIM card and service plan must be purchased separately. This device's frequencies can be found in the product Specifications under Cellular Network. Your carrier's available frequencies may be found in the links below.
- North American Carriers.
- South American Carriers.
- Worldwide Carriers.
Joki1981 Thank you very much for your answer i will check this today since he need an answer till the end of the day. One More Question. The "Carrier-Unlocked" isnt the same as "Factory Unlocked" or "GSM Unlocked". I am searching and finding several devices that are Factory unlocked and i dont know if it is the same ( Probably not )

Take a look: HERE.
Thanks for the tips. I concluded that i can buy a factory unlocked phone and it will work in europe without any problem right? The only problem i might have is the 4G connection i think. Still afraid of buying a US phone because when it arrives here, anything might go wrong but the price is so much lower than here.....
