Cleared Play Store data accidentally? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a silly question, I accidentally cleared Play Store data and now I don't have any apps when I press My Apps. Is there any chance to bring it back and will now my apps get updates?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app

You will still get updates.
To resolve this do the following:
Settings --> Choose your Google account just scroll down --> Press on your email with the green sync icon on the left of it --> press the 3 dots in the upper right and delete it. --> re-add it.
Or just google:"Delete Google account android".

deleting play store data doesnt rid it of your apps. as soon as you clear your play store data, then reopen the play store, all your installed and once installed apps will reappear. the only reason no play store apps appear would be if you got rid of your personal google account.

That is not true. When I cleared data and after that I opened Play Store there are no apps when I go to "My apps". Now I fixed that thanks to failly.

what happened to you is not the norm. ive cleared data hundreds of times, on many devices, over many years, and that has not once happened. what rom are you running by chance? do you have a good constant data signal?

Try deleting the data in settings, manage apps, play store, then delete data.

I am getting this error. I am rooted and have changed the DPI. Going to try fix mentioned above. Will report back.

This method did help significantly lower the amount of force closes I was seeing. Since I was mostly seeing this error when returning to the home screen, I removed all play store widgets and haven't experienced any force closes since. I haven't tried re-adding those widgets since I didn't even use them.
Thanks Rycon33!

Play store problem

Hello guys,
So today when I tried to run the play store app, it opens and gets stuck at loading and nothing happens afterwards, internet is working fine on all other apps and play store was working fine all the time till this happened today
So I was wondering if anyone of you have experienced this and might have a fix?

[Q] Play store keeps crashing

I'm having problems with Play Store, it loads, but then crashes after a few seconds with the unexpectedly stopped message. I'm running stock 4.2.1. I have another user set up, and when logged in as them the play store is fine. I've tried clearing cache & data, uninstalling updates, and rebooting but have had no luck getting it going again.
Does anyone have any other ideas or am I just going to have to do a factory reset?
Try clearing data in Google Services Framework and Playstore then reboot. I had the same problem on a phone and this worked. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

[Q] Gray wifi bars but still have internet except for google play services

I have my nexus 7 for a year and I have in countered an issue. I was travelling to Switzerland (i am not sure if the following has anything to do with the problem) when I wanted a little extra coins on some apps like subway surfers the apps require "in app purchases" and I had seen a friend get all in app purchases free on iOS so I tried to do the same. I downloaded an app and it asked me to change my timezone to Moscow and so I did. The app did not work. I uninstalled it and came back to Sydney and my WiFi bars are Grey and I can access the internet but I can't access Google play services. I have done some research and a lot of users say I have to make sure my timezones are correct and they are. I have rooted my nexus 7 and am running the latest stock android with the new Google play. Can somebody help this driving me crazy!?

Do you have root?
If you have root, you can do the following to turn back to blue :
1)Download latest google play store app. and also google services framework.
2)Install the google play app(do not open the app).(warning:- do not install services framework now.)
3)Open root explorer.
4)Go to system/app. find the google framework services.apk and delete it.
5)Copy and paste the downloaded framework services.apk to system/app.
6)Exit the root explorer app and clear all recents.
7)Again open the root explorer and go to system/app and find your google framework services.apk and install it.
8)Exit root explorer and restart the phone.
9)Now go to settings/apps/all.Find the services framework there click on it and first clear the data then force stop the app.
10)Now restart your and bingo! your wifi is in blue and you can connect google+.
11)If not working then there may be a problem in your wifi router

[Q] Can't stop play apps from auto updating

Over the last 3 days, Google play has been updating my apps even though I I have always had auto-update apps unchecked since I've gotten the phone.
How do I stop this? Is there another setting somewhere?
Did you go into settings when your in Google play and turn auto update off?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Yes. Its not checked.
Go into settings, apps, Google play and clear cache and data
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Mine doesn't have a check box. You have to click the option and select do not auto update apps. Mine was set to auto update over WiFi.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda app-developers app
Sorry not to be clear. I selected never update in the same place.
I cleared the cache and went back in and it was set to always update.
I set it back to never. may apps are now all up to date. I'll let you know what happens when one is due.
