Hi everyone.
I have some kind of trouble with my stock browser: it keeps on saying "page loading" .... "page loaded".
(If this happens to you your GN3 may say something else as mine speaks French (as I am French
I just called Samsung support in France. Unfortunately they were'nt able to solve it.
They could only tell me to go to a repair shop. There they could (hopefully) do something.
I called the guy. Everything he told me was: "did you reset (and wipe) your phone?". I guess he doesn't know his stuff.
Well: am I the only One on Earth having this problem?
I've had it for hardly two weeks.
Talkback is disabled (as everything that may say saomething).
I know I can surf with Chrome but then again it's not my choice!
Can anyone help?
Thank you very much.
Turn any accessibility functions off like Tasker, Lightflow, Pebble etc. This is a known bug.
Since I use some of these I don't use the stock browser.

Thank you very much indeed !!
I have a Pebble watch
If I had known. I would have never guessed Pebble could be the cause.
Now all is ok. I'm going to turn Pebble back on and use Chrome.
Thank you again :laugh::laugh::laugh:
Don't blame Pebble. Any app I have enabled in accessibility causes the stock browser to talk. I suspect it is some wayward Samsung software. Some have blamed Touchwiz but it still happens with alternative launchers.

Yes, you're right. I was not blaming Pebble.
I didn't use the right words. I meant "the simple fact for Pebble to be present".
BTW, is there a workaround for this?
Not that I know of.....still looking!

That sucks. I hope there will be a fix soon. Haven't they fixed it on galaxy s3? I think I read somewhere this bug returned with S4.
Thanx my frend..
You don't need to have them enabled under accessibility. It has a different setting under security now. I have light flow and I have it off under accessibility but enabled under security->notification access and it's working fine.

But Tasker isn't listed there. Tasker is only in accessibility. Sadly. I need tasker to listen for notifications.

Hello,
I just got a new Note 3, and it seems that trying to enable the Pebble accessibility service disables some rather important TouchWiz features. The only thing I really care about is the One-handed operation mode, which I believe is part of the multi-tasking TouchWiz feature. If it wasn't for that, I'd just disable all of those, since I don't use the rest anyways.
Is there a workaround that allows the Pebble service and One-handed mode/MultiTasking to work together? Root or otherwise?
Thanks!
PS: Also posted this on the Pebble forums, but thought I'd put it here too
I have the same problem.... look at all the accessibility apps that I have to disable to use 'one handed'.

The apps are more important than one handed operation but I do now have to remember not to use the stock browser unless I want constant talkng as enabling any accessibilty function not only disables the one handed gesture but also makes the stock browser say "Page Loading. ...Page Loaded..." etc.
Can't believe this bug has not been fixed.

Looks like you can just turn the features back on.

This is a long-standing TouchWiz bug where accessibility features disable many of TouchWiz's features. Not a Pebble issue.

The other features work when I turn them back on, just not the one-handed operation... The gesture doesn't do anything while the Pebble service is enabled.
Yeah, I can turn on most features after turning on pebble services, but one handed mode and email air view info preview do not work Anyone got a fix?
I left the accessibility off and tested to see if I still get notifications on my pebble and I still do.

Hi,
I am wondering if any of you guys use Light Flow on the 6P and if you updated in the last day or so? I update it last night and a persistent notification is now in my notification bar and will not remove itself.
FYI the persistent notification thing is unselected in light flow (see attached).
Any ideas? Any of you experience the same thing???

I looked in the play store and there are many people complaining the new update is showing the persistent icon and no way to disable it.
Also you could go to settings and go to apps and try this:
settings>Apps>notifications>Block all
see if that resolves it

thanks for the reply, but if i block all notifications, i then get no notifications at all from light flow.
The developer is aware of the situation. Unfortunately it is a Marshmallow issue. He is working on a "legacy" app that will deal with the persistent notification. If you check the reviews in the play store he has replied to the recent complaints. On a side note it is situations like this that has taught me to not immediately update an important app without reading the reviews for a few days. Either that or have a titanium backup handy if the updated app is not playing nicely!

Here's Reactle's blog post on the persistent notification and other changes for Marshmallow: http://www.reactle.com/2015/10/changes-for-android-6-marshmallow.html
Basically, they were exploiting a flaw in the OS itself to gain control of the LED without a notification or root. That flaw has been fixed, and now without having that persistent notification LightFlow will crash.

It do to your location settings. If you want it to stay off go to your location settings and select GPS only. For some reason some of the apps are turning on Wifi to find your location. I had the same issue but could not figure out which app was doing it.
Thanks dude this was happening to me too
The latest Google Play Services has a bug; the above workaround is all we can do until they roll out an update.

Thanks I was just about to ask if any one knew why this was turning it self on
I updated a few apps thru the play store yesterday with Android System Webview being among them. Afterwards, looking at my wifi tab, I noticed it's not blinking with like before. I think the latest "Android System Webview" may have fixed this issue.

Changes in router's Wireless Security had caused it in my case
I had this issue and was causing me real headache. I initially thought it was hardware failure of my phone but later I found reason is something else.
For some reason I had changed Wireless Security of my WiFi router from WPA2 Personal to something else (I guess WEP).
That was causing my phone (intex cloud 4g) often to turn on and off WiFi on its own. I changed the Wireless Security back to WPA2 Personal and phone is now back to normal (not turning WiFi on and off on its own)
Hi guys, does anyone else have an issue with the "Mini Apps" function? It's the one where you swipe over the virtual keys and minimizes the screen for one hand operation.
It was working fine when I first got the phone but now it doesn't work anymore even with the option turned on and after reboot.
Am I the only one or is this a bug?

I had issues too at first, but with lots of research, I finally found the solution. To to settings>Accessibility and make sure that Switch Access is turned off.

As far as I can tell, Switch Access doesn't do anything important, so you won't lose any other features.

I intentionally turn off OK Google detection so my phone is doing one less thing, but it still is working and the options are disabled. I've only recently started to notice this. Tried to enable and disable the options again... no joy.

This may be painfully obvious, and I'm not trying to sound sarcastic at all, but:
Have you tried saying OK Google to see if it's actually working? How about just removing the widget from your home screen and replacing it with one that isn't voice activated? Or perhaps both..

Yes, it does work when saying OK Google. Also, would removing it prevent the mechanism on the backend that's listening from working also? Or would the service still be running?
I know that when I removed it, there didn't seem to be any listening going on. I think it uses this process in Maps as well as a couple other GApps, so after removing it you can try it in there/disable it in there as well. If you have root, you can always freeze it with TB. I completely removed it from my phone, so I don't have it to play with to try to find these things out. That's always the first thing I do, so I know very little about tinkering with system apps without root.
You can enable OK Google in settings.
try disabling your google account in settings.
