Gapless playback in the Samsung Music Player? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay so who's figured out how to do this? I know I can use other players but I want to make this one work because of the voice control features.
Nothing in the settings looks obvious to me. Is it a no go?

So... Anyone know how to do this?

Increase playback codecs

Has anyone managed to find some more codecs for the hd2 / winmo6.5 setup? I love the intergrated / touch ui and would really prefer to keep this solution with the extra codecs (rather than install stand alone 3rd party software).
Thanks
anyone? surely I'm not the only 1 with this issue?
Not possible. This is why apps like Coreplayer exist.
Thanks, in that case what media players are people using that work nicely on the hd2? I want ot be able to play all the "usual" codec movie files but have never found the divx player very good.
Thanks
Post above already answered.
Coreplayer plays everything and then some...

Gapless playback on on stock android music app?

Is there a way to enable gappless playback on stock android app? Im running the GB music app now but the pause between tracks really irritates me. Any suggestions?
No way that I'm aware of and the alternative options are limited. The only app I've found that does gapless correctly is museek but I don't really like the interface. The devs of Music PlayerPro and PowerAMP are both planning to add it in the future, but neither support it yet.
(Another app called DeaDBeeF claims to support gapless playback but it's still in alpha and I haven't tried it out myself.)
this should be standard as apple has it in ios. What gives? The honeycomb player dosent support it either. i know someone at google listens to media that intended as 1 large set. LAME!

[Q] Is it not possible to listen to streaming audio in the background in Android?

I want to listen to streaming air traffic control from Listen to Live ATC (Air Traffic Control) Communications | LiveATC.net but when I play a stream I can either play in vPlayer or Streaming Player, but both apps turn off the audio when I do anything else... kinda defeats the purpose if I can't stream in the background...
Just seems like this should be POSSIBLE given that Android OS has "Streaming Audio App" built into the OS... and it nor vPlayer nor YXPlayer seem to keep playing when I try to switch to another app. Why bother listening if I have to look at the black "Live Stream" screen and can't do anything else in the process? I've got to be missing something or some app that allows it.
Anyone have any suggestions for me?
Winamp for android allows streaming through shoutcasts while doing anything else with the phone...idk if LiveATC.net has that set up
searched and didnt find anything D:

Can you go to the link in the first post and try to load the stream in WinAmp if you have it installed? No biggie if not, I can try it I just figure if you have it installed I'd be forever grateful if you'd try it and let me know before I try installing yet another streaming app, hehe.

Gapless playback?

I was not able to have any gapless playback on LG music app. Then I tried Google Play Music app which is confirmed to have support for gapless playback.
But even there is also 1-2 seconds of silence between track change.
Any solution to this? I don't want to install a 3rd party paid app like Poweramp.
Thanks.
Nobody is bothered by lack of gapless playback on stock ROM?

LG G2 192 kHZ 24-bit?

Quick Noob question. The Hi-Res Audio functionality is built in right? Or do we need to activate it somehow with a third party audio app? Thanks in advance!
I'm interested in this too. Does it only work on the stock music player? I assume its only the stock ROM. If someday someone ever writes us an ASOP kernel, could it work on ASOP? Again what music player?
And I'm a noob to HIDEF audio, where are people getting their source files, and any other general notes about using it, and on their phone!
Has anyone found an answer to this yet? I'm curious to know
Yes. It works out of the box. Stock player or PowerAmp playing 192/24bit fine.
