Hi all,
It has been a long time since last posting, please be patient.
As the title says,i now have a UK 3 network Note 3, which has a H3G firmware in the csc, what options do i have in changing this to a stock sumsany kernal/rom and csc?
Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.

Thank you.
My main issue is understanding the procesd as the last handset i ever flashed was back in the XDA days so csc etc did not make ant difference.
Are you able to flash a fully stock samsung rom on this device withiut changing csc to ww instead of H3G?

Hey guys
I live in the UK but I just bought my note 3 last week from Abu Dhabi whilst on holiday. The problem is when I try install some of the apps/games it says they are not available in my country (as it's not a UK handset). My question is, is there a way of re flashing the UK firmware over my current one?

Hi mo123456789
Just instal offical ROM from http://www.samfirmware.com/, as per reply from jaythenut, below is what I flashed on my Expansys sim free model i.e. spanish note 3 variant, then you get it to UK ROM and UK updates.

Well if you actually ask a question rather than just saying "what will happen if i flash android 4.4.2 from Spain for Vodafone ??"
To put it straight, you'll have Vodafone's 4.4.2 firmware on your device. It's no different to any other Kitkat except carrier bloatware.
I meant as will it cause a problem as im not on Vodafone carrier!

Potentially yes. Depends what they have baked into it,could just be Vodafone network, messed up CSC and security etc etc. But then again, probably not.
Word of advice though, seems like Carrier firmwares aren't flashing for people and they seem to work OTA only. The normal XEO Polish ROM works fine for everyone bar HK users.
Thank you, I got my answer.

Carrier firmware is also a lot trickier and might only contain the APNs for themselves and not all the carriers.
Also XEO is known to also have problems on Nordic EU N9005.
Yes I guess you are right @xclub_101 this polish version of kitkat cause me some strange problems and makes my phone restart suddenly when its on standby!!!!!
when I got my phone it was set on French , do you think I should download a firmware for France??
I mean as maybe firmwares for this country be compatible with my phone.

You could try a French frimware and see.
Hello
I need to make a hard reset to my phone, and I want to also update to 4.4.2, but I see a lot of firmwares on sammobile and I don't know which one install.
My phone is free and I don't want to lost knox 0x0, region will be great if its uk one or someone with english default.
Any idea?
You can try out the latest rom from Trinidad and Tobago TTT as it supports English by default.
Also you should know that once you upgraded to Kitkat 4.4.2 you won't be able to downgrade to Jelly Bean back

Is your phone a European model? An N9005 or an N900 variant?, is it a HK Note? What CSC do you currently use?
Dial *#1234# in your keypad and post the results.
Need more information before guiding you..

Hi
It is a sim free italian N9005
Right now it is :
AP: N9005XXUBMJ1
CSC: N9005XXBMJ1
You can root without losing KNOX via Universal Root De La Vega. - then you can upgrade via Mobile Odin Pro and keep your KNOX - have a good read around and understand the process and risks involved etc.

However, once you go to Kitkat you can't go back to JB....
I know its been mentioned before but it really needs to be understood...
Hey guys, i am using my N9005 on modem NB1(or NB3, not sure which one was which...) and I have extremely bad 4G signal, very close to none. Before upgrading to KK and messing with the modems, bootloaders, etc, my 4G was almost always full signal, now I barely get any. Can anyone please point me out to which is the best modem for Denmark (Telenor), please?

Avoid messing with the modem/bootloader by flashing the Stock firmware.
That should be fine.
You misunderstand my question... I will keep being on custom roms, that will never change
I was asking which stock firmware and modem was for Denmark. As I have seen, different firmwares were out for different countries. I am just seeking the one for my country

Ok, there are several CSC for your country.
What CSC is your device?

BTU, as stated by your app Phone Info (Original and Curent)

So I don't understand why you are asking stock firmware and modem for Denmark? You should search for BTU firmware, that is available in sammobile.com.
