Hands down cheapest place to buy without contract

Ordered my Galaxy Note already cuz it was supposedly due to arrive for release on 11/01/11 but now AFTER THEY DEBITED MY CC, that may be changing. The new word is it may end up being 11/17/11 after all just as originally announced and this SUCKS of course cuz I chose this over the Nexus due to the earlier release date.
Otherwise I would've waited and saved on the accruing interest charges - although I could've saved the credit just in case of an emergency of some sort. Hell I've never paid full price for a phablet or smartphone before let alone buy an unlocked version.
This better be worth it baby! It better be worth it.
I sure am going to miss getting those updates from Google earlier than a carrier would've released 'em.

how much you ordered ?

I ordered from England @ a place called Clove.co.uk & paid $705 US. But this is for an UNLOCKED PHONE, I will not be bound by any yearly contact with anybody. I'll be free to go to the best carrier with the best coverage & price anytime I want to.
The price is with it to me considering its going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $299 - $399 WITH A 2-year contact. So do I think it worth the price? Hell yes I do!

At that price, it sounds like a European import. US prices are normally much lower, but this is in line with the Cyberport.de offering of € 569 (~ US$ 792.39)

You scared the **** out of me!!! The difference in pricing comes down to the shipping fees. I pre-ordered early, like when they announced it on September 1. I've been hitting the site daily finally saw a sort of decent price and spanked that monkey baby!
It could also have been the exchange rate too. I called Handtec and the difference comes down to shipping making Clove & Handtec pretty much the same price +/- a few $$$. That isn't enough to make me cancel the order and go with Handtec. Also, Handtec seems a little confused when you ask specific questions relating to specs and other info.
Maybe it was just the hit I dealt with - I dunno. Lastly, they're offering a version"network unlocked" which as he described as "upon boot I would see a network logo and from then on it would be basically unlocked, and that could be taken care of by either rooting the PHABLET or some other kind of software solution". Oh the price for that version is roughly £448.99 if you want to take a chance on that. They are expecting to receive they're first shipment on 10/31 and puter-orders will go out that same day.
Sounds awful confusing comming from a sales rep from such a well known dealer. For me that pretty much sealed Handtec' fate of me NOT buying a phablet from them.

Congratulations! I've had my note for a week and now and can imagine having to wait any longer for one. Spectacular phone/tablet that makes people stop and comment. Always the same comment, amazing love it. The screen is spectacular, functionality is amazing.

[Multi-Carrier] Wirefly Shipping Status

Anyone else order their S3 through Wirefly?
If so, keep us updated on the shipping status.
I got mine on Sprint via wireflyfriends.com and they say the first orders will start shipping tomorrow. Since I'm only paying $150 for the device, I went ahead and upgraded my shipping to overnight. Fingers crossed that I get mine on Friday!

Ima upgrade mine today on sprint what was the total under $200? With overnight?

My total should be $170 with overnight shipping. I also should be getting a $50 kickback from Bank Of America on the purchase.
I'm on the waiting list at 6 local Sprint stores for a 32 GB version. If I get a call from them before I get my shipping notification from Wirefly, It's going to be hard as hell to sit and wait!

Mine does too and i'm temped to cancel my Amazon order but I don't think it's worth $20 to not wait an extra day

I'm going to try a local store today. Have no clue if they'll have them in stock but I'm driving by the store regardless. Would rather not wait for my pre-order to ship.

I just reserved one at my local Best Buy but was not able to cancel my Play Store order. Ah well, I guess I have two of them now.

I just got the email from Best Buy that my 32GB Black Nexus 9 is ready for pickup.
I pre-ordered through Amazon on the 16th and it looks like they only have the white
so I cancelled my order this morning.

If anyone is looking to get the Fire in the US, ordering it from Best Buy online for in store pickup is the best way to go. I ordered it this morning and it is already in store whereas amazon has it backordered until December 17th+. You could probably cancel your orders and buy it this way instead.

Yes. Same price. Much more convenient IMO.

UPS says mine arrives on Monday. I don't think I've ever been so excited to get a $35 gadget, haha.

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but the price was too good to pass up.

One of mine arrived yesterday, the other should come around the 30th.
Anyway, this is a pretty good device so far. I made sure to replace the Fire OS with CM12.1 and now it really flies compared to the original Kindle Fire. At first I was concerned with the resolution, but now I'm fine with it not being 720P. I mean for $35 I can't really have it all.
Also I would suggest using the Supertool posted in the index.
