Hello!
I am having a kind of problem with my S4 it's that I am getting an update that I can't find anywhere what is it and I have attempted to install it but I get an error during the installation progress, even via Kies it got stuck at (Downloading... Do not turn off target!!)
And Kies did show a failure message while installing and shutdown!
Can anyone help me out with this?

hey guys,
I just got my new samsung galaxy note,
the first thing after booting up the phone ask me to do was to update firmware (via wifi) which I did.
the next thing it ask me to do was to update to ics, I download the file again via wifi and whilst it was installing it got to 99% and just seem to be stuck there for the last 40mins!!
any suggestion on what to do next?

tried forced reboot, that seem to solve it, got ics
I root my galaxy note and franco kernel
Sometimes my note hanging and i have error message "WatchDog Reset"

Hi guys. My s4 (i9500) hadn't been updated right the last time. The package wasn't updated succesfully. But when cheking for updates via pc kies or from phone directly it's the latest firmware. My phone is overheating because of software . The service center told me the software should be reinstalled. How can i install the software without rooting??? Plz help me. Than you

Ask service centers to do it or use odin to flash official firmware

Hi. I am trying to update to 4.4 for the past couple of days. I don't know whenever I try updating it just says no update available. I think I may be on a rom but I am not sure, reason why is that when I boot my phone it says Samsung custom with a padlock. Suggestions?

Do you know what firmware you're on? I would Odin those tar files. Backup first, to the cloud or your pc.
Ya I just went back to stock with Odin. But I tried to update and it still won't find any updates.

Hi there. First of all I am sorry to create a new topic because I have already spent 2 days of searching the forum about my problem but couldn't quite figured it out rightly.
I have Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505. Its operating system is 4.3. When I try to update it via OTA, it says "Your software has been modified. Software updates are not available. "
But I don't know if I have done any modifications in my software.
Kindly help me in this regard.

Have you rooted your mobile?
You can always flash a system image via odin to update ir simply head to a service center

I install kitkat on my grand 2 by Odin3 v3.07
And then returned to install the jellybean 4.3
But the device Shut off extinguished and no works and does not respond start
Does not include the download mode or recovery mode
What do I do........?

you need to give your phone to the service center, thats what i did and other users who got the same problem, there isnt much you can do
