So hey guys I've an Asus nexus 7(grouper) with 4.4 ota that's unlocked, rooted with tarp . I used Wigs program to do all of the above. But for some reason every time I try to install a new Rom( purity/cm11) it always fails. I've been rooting and installing custom roms for years now and never had this problem. Please help.

Looks like a bad download. Re-download & this time check MD5s.

I am having the same problem with different roms and would be interested in knowing the cause - some work and others fail.
I have had that problem. I had to update TWRP. That fixed it rite up.

OTA updates are always slow. If you want 4.4.2 now; download the image file and flash it via fastboot. Make sure to back up all your files to a computer.

Try reflashing the stock rom!
Try flashing the stock rom again, you probably have bad system files.(Just an educated guess).
If that fails, then you should send it to the service center, hope i could help. Thank me if that helps xD
I am using the offical rom only. How can i reflash the rom ? Plz tell

Download firmware from sammobile.com and flash via odin. Search on google for detailed procedure.
