Carrier/storage question - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I'm still holding out for the 32gb version of the Galaxy S4 on Sprint.
Any word?
Also is there a way to get the 32gb version on Verizon and use it on Sprint?
Thanks

no clue about your question. But why not just get a big SD card?

A 64GB card is a lot cheaper than the price difference between a 16GB to 32GB phone

I want the bigger memory on the phone PLUS the 64 gb sd card

Well get a different phone then. The S4 only comes in 16gb on Sprint.
This message brought to you in part by Sprint and the letters GS and the number 4

64GB preorder

is there anyone reputable offering a 64gb pre order?
Expansys in Portugal is accepting pre-orders for 16, 32 and 64gb

Yes, but there is no available price for any version.
Is the 64 GB a release model, or is it like the 64 GB version of the S3 where it'll just come out sometime in the future.
why does it says edit/delete when there is no option to delete your post? -_-

I guess there will be a price difference between the 16gb, 32gb and 64gb. Since there is a micro sd slot, what would justify getting a 64gb as opposed to a 16 gb and just load up on the microsd card (guess it would work with a 64gb micro sd).

Because 64+64 > 16+64

Bump to ask this again.
I think it's a future model. for obviously money making business reasons heh
will apps be able to install on SD card? that is my main concern. 32gb or 64gb will be the way to go...

Query on 16GB version.

Hello All,
I am planning to switch from Galaxy S4 to LG G2. I was thinking of getting the 16 GB version of the phone. But I wanted to know that is it enough? Since there is no expansion possible. When i got the S4 16 GB version, the OS and other stuff alone take up 8 GB of the space. Luckily in S4 i can go for an SD card. Just wanted to know that is the same case with G2.

OS takes up about 6-8 gigs, but as the person above me said it has OTG support (check this out: meenova.com) and box.com gives you 50 gb of free storage when you sign in with a LG device.

i wouldnt go with the 16gb version. i have the 32gb version and only have 10gb remaining. i may keep more stuff on my phone than you though. i'm an audiophile so i like my flac files. these take up a lot of room.

I am thinking about it now... i wonder why the new phones are trying to leave the memory card slot out of phones. Nexus 5, HTC One both dont have it as well.
If you can, go for the Korean version of the phone. It has removable battery and SD card support although the battery is slightly smaller.

Why no 32 GB out of the gate?

Samsung did this the S4 too- why does this make sense for them to do this? I refuse to buy a 16gb phone with the ROM taking about half.
I know it has an SD card but there are many things that just don't work as well.

So far, the ONLY reason I'm not getting the S5 is because of not getting 32GB internal..... I hate needing to manage what goes on the SD Card, what goes on a Foldermount link to the externalSD, etc..

Is there any 32gb version that works on Verizon

With the way Android handles SD cards I just find it more annoying. I sold my 16gb S4 and got a 32 and stopped using an SD card entirely and it was nice to have one less thing to manage. 32gb is enough for me but 16 doesn't cut it. When will there be a version that's 32gb that works on verizon's network, or is there already?

S5 16gb or 32gb

does anyone have a problem with the s5 with only 16gb ? I want to get s5 but I been waiting to see if they come out with a 32gb.

It has a internal SD card slot, why do u care 16 vs 32? You can buy a 64gb microsd for ~$50

I have a lot of apps on my S4 now and it is 32gb with 64gb SD card. On my S3 I have 16gb and I didn't like the message you are running out of space.

Mine S5 (SM-G900S) has 32 gb.
I haven't had to compromise and am happy with 16GB and my 64GB external.
