Over-sensitive text entry? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm noticing that at times when I'm texting with the stock swype keyboard, it will input like 10 letters for every 1 that I type in.
It seems to happen when it's near any other device like a computer.
Weird.
Anyone have this? Any fix?
I notice that when I kill the messaging app and restart it, it's fine. But such a hassle.

I'm having issues every so often, where if swiping the keyboard registers about 5 different letters randomly in the path I swipe. There is definitely something up with it. I have hard reset once. It's very random, but not just typing, sometimes when surfing reddit or Google news, swiping up or down, it starts to freak out and click on links as I scroll, aggravating as...

Swype input on messaging widget quick-text

Hopefully this hasn't been noted already. I use the stock messaging widget and click on it to quick-view my new texts, then hit reply to enter the "quick-text" which pre-fills in the recipient.
The problem I'm having is that when I use Swype as the input method in this box, it seems to lag and sometimes puts spaces in the wrong places, or punctuation before a word (as opposed to after). It appears that what's happening is that I'll 'swype' a word, it will bring up the selection list, and I'll hit a period. Normally this would insert the first-selected word and then a period, but in the quick-text, it appears to enter the period before auto-selecting the word from the list. This also happens where it will type the first letter of a word, put a space, then the rest of the word combined with the following word. For example "how a reyou" shows up often. The overall response time of using Swype as input for this seems slow and laggy.
I'm just curious if anyone else has encountered this or if there's a fix.
I think I've seen a screenshot of someone's phone trying to type in Skype in the stock Moto messaging widget and having a ton of gibberish in the input box, so I don't think it's just your phone.
I guess I'm kinda glad about that. Hopefully they fix it. I've just been trying to avoid using it, but it's so convenient.
When I first started using swype I was having all kinds of spaces and lag. Now that I'm running launcher pro everything is running smooth and I haven't had any lag problems. I also messed with some of the settings for swype.

Chrome kinda sluggish

Anyone else having sluggish issues in chrome? Was reading wired and it just froze a few seconds before letting me scroll the page.

Yeah it is sluggish sometimes, the other day I was reading http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...e-olympics-will-be-worth-watching-this-summer in Chrome, and it's very bad, scroll delay or doesn't scroll at all. It's a bit more bearable in Dolphin Browser.
Yep, same here.
I am also having an issue with deleting characters in the search bar in Chrome. When I press the backspace button, it adds random characters every time I try to delete. It happens at random times and is kind of annoying.

Typing in browsers is not working properly

First let me tell you that this has been going on for a long time. I first had trouble on latest stock ROM. I factory reset it and still had problems. So I just now switched to Paranoid Android because I thought it was my ROM that was broken since it happens on all browsers except for Chrome. It still is happening in the default browser that came with Paranoid Android.
Here is what is happening.
I go to any page on the web that has a multi-line text box. I try to start one with text already in it, like by quoting somebody on a forum. I start by highlighting a word and copying it. Then if there's text in the box I place the cursor between any two letters. Then I click the handle/cursor until paste comes up, and right after I do, the cursor will move somewhere like in the middle of the next line or lower. This happens even before i hit paste. If I use the copy command like in thumb keyboard by assigning paste to a function key, sometimes it overwrites text to the left or right of the cursor. This stuff happens with any keyboard including stock android keyboard. Sometimes I'll be typing text and then backspace stops working. Sometimes when that happens I have to click with my finger somewhere if I want to change something. But sometime that doesn't even work. Sometimes I will paste text at the bottom of the quoted text and the text will magically somehow be pasted at the top. This happens often. This only happens in browsers. I've tried stock, boat browser, dolphin. It happens in all of them. This is all repeatable for the most part. I'm at my wits end. Does anyone know what I can try? Is my nexus 10 broken? It seems like a software issue, but I don't know how since I've wiped everything and started over.
Any help appreciated. Anyone who can fix this I'll buy a beer.

Google Keyboard (Gboard) not behaving nicely sometimes

Anybody getting weird behaviour from Gboard? Like not registering glides or some keypresses? Sometimes even registering extra keypresses? It feels like my S8+'s touchscreen sensitivity goes haywire sometimes when trying to type
I don't use glide but everything else works just fine.

Some times it doesn't display the suggested words at the top. Just today when replying to a text and I press on the text area, the messages exits rather than bringing up the keyboard. Not sure if that's gboard or not. Bearable for now. I imagine it will get better rather than worse.

Keyboard (LG) completely stops typing letters at random

This has happened in Chrome browser. It may have happened elsewhere. What happens is, sometimes when I start typing ...say in XDA, or even Facebook, NOTHING types. The cursor will be blinking, ready to type...but ...nothing gets typed. The keys are popping up on the keyboard as my finger touches them, but the cursor never moves and nothing comes out on the text box.
Here's the weird part....numbers and symbols will type fine. Also if I press space bar 2 times, it will type ONE letter after that...and repeat. I figured out that when this happens, the only way to fix it is to turn the screen off and then back on again.
What the heck is this thing doing?
In the photo, note text typed that shows up in word prediction box..but no actual text in field. (Nevermind what I typed ?) ...this is what it keeps doing at random.
I cannot be the only one with this issue.
