yes，screen is great , black level and contrast is excellent。
Screen seems pretty good in these pics (i.e head on at least)! However, judging by these photos I think my XZ screen (JDC panel) has slightly better off axis viewing than on Z1 (shown in pics above). I guess I'll know it in a couple of days when I'll have both side by side in my hands. But having looked at the Z ultra screen in person, I'm positive that Z1 would probably have a better display than my XZ.

Just had my new Arc yesterday. I ever see promotion video clip about Arc, that show the camera can take picture even with no light and flash. I remember the video clip just like a people put the camera in a hole of a box contain a ball. And still can capture a ball picture.
But however I try... I still unable to make that happen with my new Arc.
Q1 : Is may Xmor R cencor (or some kind like that) broken?
Q2 : I don't have HDMI cable included in the box? Are U all too?

VERDICT
Xperia Z1 is a phenomenal Sony smartphone. But it may not be right for everyone. After using Note 3, Nexus 5, Optimus G2, I settled with Xperia Z1.
Seems like most of us say the same thing about this device - love the design, performance and build quality. But too not post processing on the camera, which HOPEFULLY will be fixed on the next firmware update

I'm thinking they're starting to listen. The NEX camera division has updated the firmware on various models to reflect the issues the community brought up. I have hope anyway.

Promo ads like these usually have UIs and screens photoshopped for clarity and for easier manipulation.
It seems like an international Z1 with the UI stupidly aligned and enlarged.
BTW, its usually ad agencies that do these ads, not Sony themselves, so it could also be that they don't know how to resize for a much more realistic Xperia.
Or you could be right.

Just so u guys know. Sony will use the same design language for all of its phones. That's what they said at the start of the year. That phone there could be a mid range one with capacitive buttons or it could simply be a render for marketing...

Guys it's only the Xperia z1. The photoshop-er or graphic designer did a poor job on applying the screen and aligning it on to the phone. >.>

I found the camera test between sony xperia Z5 premium and note 5.
My personal opinion is that the Xperia Z5 Premium has a better camera of note 5

Im sad to say but it looks like this whole Z5 camera is still a joke! and this comes from a z3c owner... look at these samples http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/talk/4523/4953454/1/rv/sony-xperia-z5-compact-review/ the note 5 out shoots the z5 almost in any shot and not to speak bout low light shots which z5 cant handle. so after this i just cancelled my preorder and might get something else or ill wait till next year because i aint buying samsung crap.
I 'm sorry to say that the Note 5 pictures qre way better. Did you look at the full resolution pictures or just the thumbnails? I don't like Samsung but I have to admit, adding OIS to their flagships this year was a smart move. Sony blew it again. That is unless they tweak the camera before the release.
I think all haters to see eye doctor and test their eye sight. Z5 photos are far better than taken with Z3 and are equally great compared to S6 or Note 5. If you think otherwise you should get an iPhone 6s

They didnt test yet iphone 6s and note 5. Anyway for video recording, i think sony will be hard to beat. As for photos quality just hope it will be acceptable since i dont like protrude camera design.

iP6s camera is just bigger clone of iP6 camera with no significant improvements except 4k video. iP6 should be in top 5 but not #1

At least it's all metal this time arround, so that's a plus.
It will be about time to sell my XZ when this is released, I'll probably get it.
The way I see it it'll be a XZ Premium "compact" and without 4k, which is appealing for me, the Premium was way to big for me and the XZs made no sense as an upgrade from XZ, so...
In some photos it does look thicker than XZs/Premium, I hope they managed to fit it with bigger battery as well.

My problem with them is that they have Huge bezels but not bigger batteries ? .. i mean WTF when Sammy n LG can make their phones compact and put the same size battery ... then Either Sony shrink their bezels or give us a bigger battery ....
Imagine XZ with 3300mAH or 3500mAH .... this is totally possible ... I wonder what's eating the space inside the XZ while other manufac can easily fir evertything in a much compact ver
