Sony presented the New Alpha Camera right now Online and they accidentally show a new xperia device with really thin bezels
What are your thoughts ?
I think it is like Z and ZL
and this seems like Z1 and now the Z1L ??

Promo ads like these usually have UIs and screens photoshopped for clarity and for easier manipulation.
It seems like an international Z1 with the UI stupidly aligned and enlarged.
BTW, its usually ad agencies that do these ads, not Sony themselves, so it could also be that they don't know how to resize for a much more realistic Xperia.
Or you could be right.

Just so u guys know. Sony will use the same design language for all of its phones. That's what they said at the start of the year. That phone there could be a mid range one with capacitive buttons or it could simply be a render for marketing...

Guys it's only the Xperia z1. The photoshop-er or graphic designer did a poor job on applying the screen and aligning it on to the phone. >.>

I've always liked the way Timescape looks, but I feel like it needs to become it's own launcher while retaining it's 'style' before it can be taken seriously. I'd much rather integrate an app launcher into Timescape and use that instead of the terrible Xperia Home launcher they keep dumping on Xperia phones.
This worked, Facebook on timescape is back.

i love the idea but imho pc sticker ruined it
maybe if you found one built in in your cover is more good to see...

I bought that case through a friend, I think it was called cool case or something, may aswell be available on eBay
For carbon fibre I did cut it manually, I have a scroll of that fibre

it s depend on what will be special in apps and softwares and what to do with stylus
for example note II had special video player with something for S-Pen in it
If Xperia ZU be just like another Xperia device with just bigger screen, Note series will remain more in success in phablets
But the design looks boring like my Xperia Z...

I have a chance to trade a nexus 4 for a xperia z. I would like anyone that has had both phones to let me know what would be the better choice. I do like flashing roms at times but don't do it a lot but do take a lot of pics and videos. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks to all who reply.

The only feature Xperia Z has is the Waterproof and Dustproof feature..
I had a handson Xperia Z its not that good. I am not being biased but to be true N4 is way better than Xperia Z.
Nexus 4 beats Xperia Z in all other cases..

I don't have a n4 but I recently bought my wife the xperia z. It's cool, looks nice, and water resistant. It has a pretty nice screen and a nice size. The glass on the sides kinda have that purple blue playstion color. I know they have a purple one, I guess it might be the same color as the sides. Pictures seem a little over saturated though. Definitely like the pure android though. If I had a choice I would get the n4 which I will get in a month

I always felt like my old xperia Z was faster then my galaxy s4
Haven't tried a note 3 but I'm sure the Z1 beats it too. Touchwiz is just bloated with useless apps (for me) making it slower
Too bad sony is a lot more complex to root and stuff, Samsung is made for rooting, easy as pie.

as peeps say don't put to much trust in benchmarks tests. but that does look a tad low try a factory reset or if that doesent make a differance sony pc companion or update service and try repair. hit thanks if this helps. regards
