Hi!
After installing the Stock rom 4.3 deodexed from this thread , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010887 , i have the following problem : after being online on WiFi i do not receive any calls at all. To the caller it shows that it rings normal but on my device there is no ringing or no optical sign ( number who is calling ) at all. But after i reboot and do not go online then all incoming calls reach me. If i connect via WiFi again and disconnect then again no incoming calls.
Any solution?
Thanks

Hi guys.
I saw a lot of posts about answering machine and I know is not possible to do that, however I'm trying a different thing.
I successfully established a data call, now I want to grab sounds from the mic to send them over the modem but when the call go in the connected state the wavein device doesn't receive any more message...
I tryed to get the mic deviceid after the connected message with lineGetId(,,,"wave/in"), but I receive an operation LINEERR_OPERATIONFAILED.
Anyone can tell me where I'm wrong?
I recall seeing a post from here about the same issue. I was trying to look for it but no luck. So here goes nothing. I remember reading about forwarding calls from the number that the HTC Shift uses and the device will always reject the calls before it even gets forwarded. Just wondering if this still stands true. And if not, forwarding calls doesn't mean forwarding text too, correct?
Once again, sorry if this is a repost, but i tried.
There is still no solution 'til now for this issue. Shift will reject incoming calls by first ring tone. After this (in German T-Mobile network) I receive a SMS on the Shift with the data of the incoming call.

I'm fancing strange problem. I can call out to anybody and we can talk, but when someone call to me there is one signal and then message from network like: person U want reach is temporary unavinable...

Is there any option in android to automaticaly reject calls? I wasn't changing anything in settings or soo, it stops working suddenly ;/
As a wifi only version of galaxy note tab 10.1 I was little upset that I can not make phone calls. I used to have galaxy 7" tmobile version tab which was able to make calls. I like big phones.
Today I decided to try new thing and boom it was successful. I can make calls using viber to viber through my tab. And almost every people on my contact has viber.
All you need is one sim which is not ragistered to viber yet.
1) put that new sim on your phone so that you will receive call.
2) install viber from play store in tab .
3) viber will ask you to enter your number ; enter new number(make sure you dont use number which has already viber; it will sign you out from another one.)
4) viber will send you activation code on msg and says waiting for msg. If you receive msg on phone enter it on tab. Otherwise there will be option to receive code via call.
5) viber will call you and says code on phone.
6) enter code on viber on tab and you are done.
7) since its not a phone. Your speaker will be automatically on by it while making calls. Use headphone or bluetooth
As I tested I am successfully making calls and my jabra bluetooth is working like a charm.
Of course you need wifi to make and receive calls. My galaxy s3 has wifi tethering so I can use it any where I want

Hello fellas,
I recently bought a new S5 neo but I'm having this strange issue.
Sometimes i can't receive incoming calls. The person who calls me gets the "The users phone is turned off or its out of range" message. And i dont receive any notification that somebody was calling me (btw i dont have a voicemail on)
The thing is i have good receipton, i turned off call baring, voice forwarding etc.. but still sometimes my friends can't reach me althou im in range.
Could it be that my phone goes into some kind of deepsleep and ignores everything ? Faulty antenna ? Or maybe i have to manual setup the network operator .. im out of ideas..
Anything will be appreciated
Thanks!
It seems that, when i call somebody the problem goes away for a couple of hours. As if it "reconnects" to the network..
