Recording sound during data call - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

Hi guys.
I saw a lot of posts about answering machine and I know is not possible to do that, however I'm trying a different thing.
I successfully established a data call, now I want to grab sounds from the mic to send them over the modem but when the call go in the connected state the wavein device doesn't receive any more message...
I tryed to get the mic deviceid after the connected message with lineGetId(,,,"wave/in"), but I receive an operation LINEERR_OPERATIONFAILED.
Anyone can tell me where I'm wrong?

Make/Answer TAPI data call

Has anyone ever successfully make/answer a TAPI data call? I can have the voice call working but not the data one.
Can someone point me some example?
thanks.
look into source code at www.cryptophone.de
the idea is to kill cprog.exe application so that it does not pops up at incoming call. Than you can answer the data call as usual using TAPI.
When I was making a data call, the receiving XDA did not popup the cprog at all. And my program at receiving side didn't show any message either. (But it works fine with voice call and the cprog showed up to intercept the call). Does this problem indicate that the data call doesn't work at all?
If I can get rid of the cprog, do you think the data call will get through?
thanks,
- David
this seems to be a problem of your operator. Maybe it does not support incoming data calls.
Hey all , my issue is about making DATA CALLS !!!!
I have managed to get the modem in my XDA2 to respond to my AT COMMANDS however i dont think that a data call is possible the old way. So i want to investigate TAPI , i have managed to write up a function which calls a number by the function TapiRequestMakeCall but i am not too sure how to use the other functions .... wanna HELP ?>??
Is it actually possible to make data calls by using TAPI ???
Yes it is.
Did you look at an answer I gave you a while back ?

Click to collapse
I think it's a safe bet the issue is on their end. Record the message (use Sound Recorder on a PC if needed) and play it back for them. There is no setting on your phone that would produce this audio message that I am aware of.

Galaxy S5 vs Windows Phone Features

Need some help and guidance
I switched from a Windows phone to Android. I have the S5 with ATT. When I used my Bluetooth over the ear in with my windows phone I was able to get notification of who is calling (Answer or Ignore), also with my TEXT I was able to get information like message From then it would ask if I want to reply, or ignore. If I selected reply I could (voice) via the blue tooth tell it my message it would read it back to me then I could say send.
This was all with my Plantronics voyager legend Bluetooth and the windows phone. I was told the S5 could do the same.
The S5 works great I can answer or ignore calls via Bluetooth but I cannot have the phone read me information from the text or an option for me to reply to the text via my bluetooth. I made lots of calls to ATT and to Plantronics and they both point the finger at each other.
Any help would be great.
For others who haven't used WP, this is how you could set it up to handle texts:
It would read out loud "Message from [person's name]. You can say 'Read It' or 'Ignore.'"
If you said "Read it" it would read the message out loud and then say "You can say 'reply,' 'call' or 'I'm done.'"
If you said "reply," you could say your text out loud and it would send the message.
I've found Android apps that read your text messages out loud, but the ones I've found automatically read the whole message. I don't want that. I want it to tell me who I have a text from and then it can read it out loud if I want it to. Is there any way to do this?

S5 Neo sometimes can't receive incoming calls

Hello fellas,
I recently bought a new S5 neo but I'm having this strange issue.
Sometimes i can't receive incoming calls. The person who calls me gets the "The users phone is turned off or its out of range" message. And i dont receive any notification that somebody was calling me (btw i dont have a voicemail on)
The thing is i have good receipton, i turned off call baring, voice forwarding etc.. but still sometimes my friends can't reach me althou im in range.
Could it be that my phone goes into some kind of deepsleep and ignores everything ? Faulty antenna ? Or maybe i have to manual setup the network operator .. im out of ideas..
Anything will be appreciated
Thanks!
It seems that, when i call somebody the problem goes away for a couple of hours. As if it "reconnects" to the network..
