Has anyone connected their Ouya to a touch screen monitor via HDMI? And if so did touch work? Thanks!

I have a Nexus (2012) with a broken digitizer but the screen works fine. I was wondering if it were possible to take the device apart and get some sort of adapter to connect the lcd via HDMI to my PC?
I am trying to use my HDMI output on a VGA projector and only get a black screen, the projector responds to locking / unlocking the tablet's screen by switching from neutral to black screen, though.
Is HDMI implemented in the latest update (11-20140624-NIGHTLY-manta) or is it my setup causing the problems?
I'd appreciate any answers!
Best,
dersami
I use HDMI port on CM 11 nightly without any problem on my Samsung TV.
I just use Screen Standby (found on play store) to block locking but to just switch off tablet screen. I mainly use this for spotify whitch don't block locking and stop playing by hdmi when N10 is locked.

Hi,
I don't know if it'd work on a VGA projector, could you try it with another device? Or plugging your Nexus on a HDMI TV? Because it's very likely it's the projector adaptor that isn't really working.

I don't have the means to test this on a true HDMI device :/ Does anyone have a recommendation for a working HDMI to VGA adaptor? I am currently using the Cable Matters Active Mini HDMI to VGA Male to Female Adapter.

I did some more testing and tried to change the resolution using
su
wm change size 1024x768
in the terminal.
Although this changed the resolution on my device, the projector still only shows a black screen, even after reconnecting said adapter. Could it be that I need to change the density or refresh rate? If so, what value for density might work and how do I alter the refresh rate?
Hi,
Can i use OTG while my note 4 is connected to TV? i want to use a mouse and a keyboard or a Controller while my phone is connected to TV.
and my mhl (it's 2.0 i guess) is slow, it has so much delay. It makes games unplayable on display, but everything is fine on my phone screen, it just has delay on my TV(delay, not low fps), my TV is 1080p.
edit: why isn't this thread getting any answers? is this anything wrong with my post?
Is it possible to do this via Bluetooth. I can hook my tablet up to the tv, but since I won't have any usb ports open, I'd need a Bluetooth controller. Any ideas?

Another question, do you have an mhl adapter to plug the tablet to the tv?

I own a shield tablet and is it possible to have the new geforce experience on it?. Also if I was to buy the shield tv would it be possible to hook it to my laptop and use the laptop screen to play games as opposed to hooking up to the TV please?
I don't know about the Shield Tablet, but the Shield TV's only video output is HDMI. So it would only work if your laptop has an HDMI input or some input that can be converted to work with HMDI.
