Hey S4 users, I recently bought the S-View flip cover as I found it to be more practical than the normal flip cover and more protective to the screen than back covers as some people reported that tha Amoled may break easily under normal circumstances, back to the topic im a truecaller user and I found the pop up that comes on top of the screen when receiving calls covering the answering/rejecting sliders while using the s-view, so I cant answer or reject call till the truecaller popup diminishes. I think I didn't catch any call
Any ideas here, other than not using truecaller with s-view

On streak - At times it becomes frustrating to pick up calls with the sliding unlock option - is it possible when an incoming call comes in - I can map one of the hardware buttons to use to pick up the call rather than sliding?
I find the sliding option at times just stick's and by the time I manage to slide the call is gone! and I end up with a missed call in my hands...
I am on 1.5.3 and looking for an alternative way to pick up calls.
Pls advise
If the screen is locked yes u can download screen suite but it will change it lockscreen and unwilling need no lock (that's the name of the app).

I have been having major problems with the slide to unlock on my streak. Sticky unlock have been a problem since i got the streak but it has become worst lately. Specially if i take it out of my trouser pocket, the screen just won't unlock

Did you try and recalibrate your screen (search inthe forum for the procedure). It helped me with unwilling touchscreen
My touch screen is non responsive only if I have the screen against my leg in the pocket. If it faces outward then I have no problems

I noticed that when using the S-view cover to view the missed calls notifications, they won't go away...
I must open the cover and go to the call logs to clear the notification and to prevent the notification icon from showing when the cover is closed.
When I drag the notification icon to view the missed calls when the cover is closed, the missed calls are shown, but after touching the red cross icon on the top right corner of the screen to dismiss it... the notification icon remains there on s-view the lock screen !!!
does anyone experience this issue ?!
For me the Note hung and I have to restart.

I also experience the same, plus the phone freezes when you quickly look at a new message and is unresponsive. I open the flap to access via the full screen but the S-View mode would remain on screen and still remain unresponsive. I hope Samsung comes up with an update to fix this. It's really frustrating.
Hi
I have an official G2 Quickwindow case for my G2. I'm really impressed and happy with it. But there is this annoying feature that I would like to disable.
When the screen cover is flipped closed while the screen is on,the phone goes to'quickwindow' mode. I know it's an in built feature but I would prefer the screen turning off when the cover is flipped close.
Disabling the quickwindow case under 'accessories' will not cut it as I want the screen to turn on when the case is opened and the quickwindow mode activated when the screen is gestured on while cover is closed.
I'm free to any options. Do help me if you can! Thanks! ?
Cheers

Did you get to resolve this issue, im in same boat as you
After observation for certain period, i experience that whenever i make calls using skype, viber or hangouts and close the s-view cover while talking, the call dropped after 30 seconds or a minute (the call didn't cut off as soon as the cover is closed). It both happened in mobile network as well as wifi connection. But it didnt happen if the cover is open ( screen may turn off by itself or keep it on depending on the application). So is it bcoz of the nature of s-view cover or greenify making phone into deep sleep after the cover closed? Or is it better to contact Samsung technical suport team about the cover? Where and how can I ask the Questions?
Is there any way how to work around to overcome this problem?
I have rooted 4.4.2 official rom.
I would be so much thankful to you if you could suggest me a fix.
Is there anyway to deactivate the flip cover from waking?
I dont know if can be done within settings but piece of tape over contacts inside cover should do the trick.
