Hello Nexus 7 friends:
After ten minutes of futile searches, I am posting my issue.
When I change or update a contact on my Nexus 7, I get the couldn't save contact changes message.
Any suggestions or even better, a solution?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Paqueo...
Could be a 'sync' issue... (I assume you've checked you have a working data connection... and everything else works OK, eg., PlayStore, Gmail, etc.).
Have you tried going to...
SETTINGS>>ACCOUNTS>>Google>>[tap on your account]>>[check the tick box for 'Contacts']...
Rgrds,
Ged.
thank you...but,
That all checks out. I have a sync option for Contacts and another for People. The only app I have is People.
I have tried variations on both of these w/syncing/deleting contacts and re-syncing. I cannot adjust a contact on the Nexus.
Good morning sir, my problem is when i try to save new contact it was ā¯„showing an erro message below, you couldn't save contact change. I try several time but it not save, pls sir what will be the issue and how to solve it thankas

Got my HD2 yesterday and went through all the steps to install Kumar's rom. Everything is running great but I have just one small problem.
The e-mail notifier on the home screen shows I have 1 new message when I don't. I've tried reading all that it downloaded, deleting all e-mails, deleting e-mail account, and setting it up again. It still shows I have 1 unread e-mail.
Is there a registry key I can change to fix this problem? Or perhaps another method I have not tried yet?
Have you tired a battery pull or a soft reset. I have had this issue once before and also check in your htc mail box if there is any boxes that have unopened mail that might be it also.
Have tried resetting the device. Will check the HTC thing, if you could tell me how to find it that is...
just go to your inbox that says it has a message. on the top left if you click inbox a drop down list showing all your folders should show and check in those folders.
Found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=677686
which he suggest the same thing I did but the person who posted the question did not respond on wether it fixed it or not.
Found it, bah stupid Outlook e-mail having messages in it when I never set it up. Thank you for your help.

Dear All,
This is first for me in ages, sorry if this is the wrong section.
I have a HTC HD2 T-mobile.
I want to send an sms to ALL my contacts in one go, rather than having to set up multiple groups of 100 members. As i update my contacts on a regular basis, it can be difficult to track who is "grouped" and "not grouped".
Is there a way to send text messages to all the contacts in one go?
Many thanks for all your help and support.
yes mate check out www.shubaroo.com although he sold his contact changer program to market place but still worth a shot mate
hmm, tried it mate, but no such luck sorry.
any more help please?
i recently lost my phone and thought all the numbers i`d aquired over the years were gone forever, to my delight when recieving my new phone and putting my email/facebook account details in, all my old numbers were synced also. but everytime i try send a message it comes up "unable to send message try again" i can call a number no probs its just the sms. if i delete the contact and put the number in manually in the phone its fine even tho it was the exact same contact number as the one which was automatically synced. anyone else have this problem and know of a fix??? i really dont wanna have to go through 100s of contacts and delete them and re-enter the names and numbers all over again.. Thanks
wow this place is like a ghost town lol. last time i was a regular on xda was when i had a HD2, that forum was a hive of activity!! not much love for the omnia7 on here lol
Might be a prefix problem? Ask your provider if they know of this issue. Also try the network app from samsung, might fix the settings.
cheers for the reply mate.. apparently its something to do with the windows live or googlemail accounts i`d read someone tested this putting in a contact through these accounts and synching you get this problem, make a contact in the phone and its fine. didnt find a fix tho.... damn!
this person is having same issue http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp7-wppeople/windows-live-account-synced-windows-7-contacts-sms/117e3cb3-8568-477d-974a-a6b458d16bdb?page=1&tm=1336670340518#footer
Before I factory reset my phone, I thought I'd search this forum to see if my problem is a known issue but didn't get any results from my searches.
My problem:
When I reply to an email in my job's Exchange account using the native email client, I cannot add any additional recipients and the existing recipients disappear when I try. They also disappear even if I don't try to edit the existing recipients when I hit send. The end result is that the message won't go out because there are no recipients. When I start typing in the To: or CC: fields, the letters I type appear in the keyboard's suggested words list, but don't show up in the TO: or CC: fields.
Workaround:
I already recreated the account, tried different keyboards, but the only thing that seems to work is leveraging the drafts folder. After I hit reply or reply all the first thing I must do is save the message as a draft. Then, I can open it from the drafts folder where I can then send the message successfully with or without editing the recipients.
I don't recall this always being a problem. I've had the phone since day one. I first noticed the problem a few weeks before the KitKat update. I had hoped the KitKat update would have fixed it, but it did not.
Is anyone else experiencing this or know what could be causing it?
Thanks for your time
Same Issue!!
Have you figured it out yet? I'm going crazy trying to...

It turned out to be our Mobile Device Management solution at work. It was pushing down a security profile to my phone. Although the profile itself never changed, the vendor did updated the software around the time my problem started. We tried recreating the profile from scratch, suspecting it somehow became corrupted. This fixed my problem.
Is the MDM solution Airwatch? Does your email address have apostrophe in it? Thanks for responding!
Hello.
My friend lately had some issues with her P9 Lite so she made a hard reset. After she done it, she realized that she do not remember what email was associated with her phone. Now she can't pass registration menu because she is being asked for original email address. What can she do to be able to insert new email instead of lost one?
We both tried to recover email address by putting phone number but she can't remember any of the help questions.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
What e-mail are you talking about? You can always pass device setup without entering e-mails etc.
No I can not. I get the request to input phone owner's email. But even when I do that I get the message that email is incorrect. I have flashed new system but still it does not reset. I think that phone is locked(Factory Reset Protection) what else can I do?
I tried few youtube methods to bypass FRP but all failed(share/assist). If some one know any new method feel free to PW me.
Best Regards
Ok, I found a solution which worked for me. So topic closed.
