Not noticed anyone else with this problem.
Have you tried another ROM? (use miui backup first)
If working on another rom then it is not your hardware at fault, it could be your partition size is too small. What is your install method, partition sizes, sd partition sizes and free space, phone type (eu or tmous), miui version, the more info you give, the better chance of a solution.

magdlr...Nativesd, 16gb sd card in that 2 gb ext for native sd.
after installing 2.3.7 miui.. that time itself not working...
Now i ve upgraded with 4.1.2 miui.. now also its not working...

Have you tried enabling Auto-rotate in settings/complete settings/display?
If so, I can only think it is hardware.
You might want to install stock wm6.5 to see if it works on a different OS, take care if using tmous hd2 which radio comes with your wm6.5 rom.

Partition SD Card Help (Rom Manager)....

Hi there,
I'm having trouble with the "Partition SD Card" function in the Rom Manager application. It goes through recovery and does everything successfully, but after I install an application it installs to the phone. I checked in the "Settings>SD and Phone Storage" which showed a smaller amount of memory after having installed the application. I installed the application "Apps to SDcard", and when I run it, it tells me "Error, either an incorrect ROM is installed or your SD card is not formatted correctly". I don't know what I did wrong, I have my SD card formatted at FAT32, and my ROM is the NeonMod Rom. I will have a link to it after. I tried the Apps to SDcard app after using the Rom Manager to partition my SD card at, 256MB Ext size, and 32MB swap size. I have a 2GB card, and it's the one that came with my phone (Sandisk) if that helps. Thanks for the help guys.
Here's the link to the ROM I currently have and its description:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=751831
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I'm new to this forum. Thanks.
It might not be a fast enough card for a2sd to work.

Nope, the problem is you are running an Eclair ROM and the app is not "ext" type of A2SD - it just uses the Froyo A2SD, which uses FAT32 partition to move apps to.
If you install Froyo, this app will work, else install a ROM with A2SD that uses ext partition, it's much better
Thanks, I found a Rom that supports A2SD and uses ext partition, and it works. Just a question though, I used Apps to SDCard to move the apps to the card, but now can't find them. Where can I find them now? LOL. Thanks so much for the help I really appreciate it, this is the current Rom I got that supports A2SD just in case anybody wants:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=834121
Not sure about this one, but why don't you use Froyo ROM?
Well if it's better then I will, I don't know much about Froyo but can you please give me a Froyo Rom if it's better? Android 2.1 version though. Thanks.
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
It depends... Do you like sense? You can find a list of roms in stickies in Development!
Start there, but the list is not very recent. I'm currently running BlaY0's Rom, try that one if you like sense ;-) CM6.1 is an obvious choice if you don't...
Good luck!
and btw: Froyo is faster and alltogether better
Okay thanks I'll give it a try. And yes I like Sense a lot. Thanks again!

You cannot have Froyo AND Android 2.1 at the same time
Android 2.1 = Eclair
Android 2.2 = Froyo
Android 2.3 = Gingerbread
P.S. Move to Froyo

[Q] [HD2-nand]Low internal memory

Hi,
I recently installed some NAND android (i.e. miui 1.4.29) roms (magldr), they work perfectly. I also partitioned my sd card with 1GB ext3(also tried other values) and in my system info it says there is available a2sd+ memory. But on every rom and with every install I have a maximum of +-7.5MB internal memory space of which +-1.5MB is free to use. So if I install 1 app my memory is full and i can't read my sms messages etc.... Why do other users have 100MB+ free space? Is there a way to check where all that memory is being used? (overall?), At install I wiped my device fyi.
thanks in advance,
Jo

can you tell us your device spec, magldr/clk/ partition size/flash.cfg etc
my guess is...you have EU HD2 and you flashed a 350> partition
did you install a radio that allows 576mb ram? I am not an expert but that is needed and there are several available. Also, post as many details about your phone and what you did so that the Developers have enough information to help you better.

Whichever ROM you're using is extremely old, so it may have even been a known issue of that ROM (although I highly doubt that) but we need more information as Kamerius said. For the mobile network issue, have you checked that the APN settings are correct?
thanks for reply but...
Thanks to all who replied but as I am new I tell you how I proceeded
I installed active sync in my PC then I flash my HTC hd2 with HSPL4
Then I flash radio 2.15.50.14
Then magldr 113
Then android 2.3.2 all by DFT
Problems that I am facing are
When I insert SD card (on top of the phone)-message. Comes SD card safe to remove and when I try to mountt same message appear, and some times it says SD card is busy. But I tried new sd card and same problem appears
Second problem mobile is not sync up with PC.
Thanks please. Help

Well, can you link me to that ROM please? I wasn't aware that there were any ROMs by DFT outside of the Stock Desire one, so I'd like to see it (although it isn't necessary of course).
You're using an extremely old and outdated method of flashing anyway, everything nowadays is flashed via CWM. See this guide and start by using the wipe data thing in MAGLDR, then just skip to flashing CWM with the correct partition sizes etc. It might not necessarily solve your issue, but you might as well do it nonetheless.
Are you trying to insert the SD card after the phone has booted? Just leave it in the phone and turn it on, I don't see any reason it shouldn't work other than if it was a known bug of the ROM or if your SD card is the one with the issues.
I'm confused about your second issue. The OP says that your data connection isn't working (data being mobile network) but the second post says that it's the USB connection to the PC that isn't working? Which one is it? Or are both of them not working?

That's fine, it just means it's an EU/International HD2 rather than a TMOUS. The only difference (spec-wise) is that it has 512Mb ROM rather than 1024Mb

HSPL4 means the package which is used to flash HSPL2.08, it's not a SPL version in itself. The highest SPL/HSPL version is 3.03.

There is no 'best ROM', it's all a matter of opinion. I prefer ICS ROMs such as NexusHD2 and IceCreamTosti because of the HWA capabilities, but you may not like them. It varies between each user. If you decide to flash one of these, you can create an EXT partition on your SD card and use the app Link2SD from the Play store to use that partition.

Did you follow the guide I linked fully? Including step number 2 - partition your storage card for a2sd ROMs? If so, then this is an EXT partition which you have created on your SD card with CWM. If you meant repartitioning the NAND with CWM (i.e. in your case flashing a 150Mb partition) then this is NOT on the SD card and isn't an SD EXT. However, since you have stated that the app App2sd works fine, I think you've done everything correctly. Congrats, you now have a fully functional Android HD2.
The ROM you chose (TyphooN) is a very good one, I used it myself as my standard ROM for the whole of 2011 and a bit of 2012 and it was absolutely great, but right now I personally feel that ICS ROMs are better. ICS is simply the latest version of Android (GB is Android 2.3, ICS is Android 4.0) and it's the best version of Android by far. As well as this, ICS ROMs have full Hardware acceleration. This basically means that games and videos will play a LOT faster on ICS than on GB.

Adnroid crashes, slowdown, freezing

Dear all!
I would like to ask for assistance in connection with the HD2 device.
First of all thank you very ROM I could try, hats off to everyone who built them.
The problem many would be now if an app I use (whatever it is), and someone calls me, then the device freeze, slow Lessa, who writes that "the android.phone application is stopped.'ll Ask for your PIN code and reboots . pulled the CPU clock frequency, set it as possible. But all in vain. now It used to be used for stable ROMs also exists. Please help me to correct the error!

Need more information like
.what bootloader used
.which type of memory used rom(nand or data-EXT or Native SD)
Are you getting this on first use or?
Sent from my MediaPad 7 Lite using xda premium
Hello!
I used CLK and MAGLDR Bootloader (Dark Force's Team).
The ROM is always watching for the correct partition size that the ROM "manufacturers" offered to the ROM. NAND and SD were Native-ROM. So far, everything has worked perfectly fine varieties. The radio version RadioLeo2.15.50.14 because the European unit. This is one of the most stable radio which is made to the HD2. 3.7 GB of ROM I downloaded from here on XDA and android.hd2roms.com website. Not much everything worked except for the second Third run-up. All before installing formatted the internal memory (NAND), the HD2 Task29 Tool Kit program.
Always 2x 3x checking the system partition or the microSD Ext2, Ext3, Ext4 partition before starting anything can be installed. I am always careful. Therefore, I do not understand what's wrong.
I hope you can, or you can help me.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely Mrscottt21.

The partition sizes recommended for most ROMs are conservative minimum sizes. They assume your device has no bad blocks in memory, something that is likely incorrect.
Start increasing the size of the system partition by 10-20 MB each installation try. If you are using a DataOnEXT installation make your system partition 399 MB (nothing beyond it is used with DataOnEXT anyway).

If you have a 50% chance of being right, you will be wrong 90% of the time...
Greetings!
Thanks for the quick response. We try this option to see if you will.
One question: What did you mean, "bad blocks in memory"? This refers to the NAND or the memory card? Thank you for your answer!
Sincerely MrScottt21.
