Tried another hard reset? Otherwise, sorry, looks like it's going back for repair :\

Try using the google stock image to restore it.

Factory Reset

How do you factory reset this phone? I am selling mine as a parts phone and I would like to know how to completely whipe it. I've got most cleaned out but theres some stuff I cant get. My Old touch pro you could hold 3 buttons and bam, reset. Is that so with a EVO?
Thanks!

phone totatly broken?

hello,
this afternoon my phone keeps hanging while flashing it because I got a BSOD on my computer.
now i cant turn on my mobile, cant put it in recovery mode or even in download mode. the screen does nothing and keeps black without black-light.
is there a way to repair it by myself or have i send it to Samsung?
i'm Sorry for my bad english.
Search. There was a thread about this here! somewhere...
sry to say this but it's probably dead if you can't get the screen to light up. Just in case, look for threads about hard-bricking, there were some posible solutions
take it to samsung and say it wont boot after you tried to update via kies. they will fix it for you

Need a little help guys

Here's the deal guys. About a week or so ago I opened my camera and got a camera fail message. Someone here told me my camera would have to be replaced. So i ordered another one. Installed it and it worked for about 5 minutes and then once again got a camera fail message. Anybody got any ideas what's going on? Thanks.
Call Tmobile and tell them you cant use your camera. I believe they will give you a exchange

Doesn´t the fact that you can see it in screenshots proof it´s a software problem?

thank god its only a software problem, thanks for replying.
how can i fix this?
i tried flashing stock rom and stock kernel but it still happens.
i am currently on stock deodexed rom and franco kernel
A lot of ROMs let you change the DPI, maybe it has something to do with that. But I don't know what the hell those weird dots are in the second screenshot.
You could ask around in the franco kernel thread, if that's the only thing you've changed. When did this problem occur for the first time? Right after you flashed the kernel?

Kernel had nothing to do with it. Definitely ROM fault.

Embarrassing that someone loves you? Nah, of course not! But we're getting a tad off-topic. If you were already experiencing this problem before you were rooted, it has nothing to do with that. Was it this way the second you turned on your Nexus 4 for the first time ever? Right after you bought it?

this is not 100% correct. if there is something wrong with the GPU or the memory for the GPU then its quite common that it will cause artifacts these artifacts would also show up in a screenshot because the errors/ issue is being rendered.
so reflash stock images if you still see it then you have to RMA, or contact lg for repairs. it MAY be a hardware problem. so just its a screen shot does not instantly make it a software issue.
I'd say flash stock ROM but 4.2 without any ota and carry on from there

D800 KitKat flashable .zip?

Does anyone know of a D800 flashable zip for those of us that are rooted and don't have a PC to revert back to non rooted stock? If not, I would be willing to slip someone who has the OTA a $5 bill via Paypal if they would be so kind as to make and upload it. Thanks in advance!

No, I have what is known as reverting back to stock and attempting to configure whatever needs to be configured for 6 hours trying to figure out how the hell to get my phone to stop saying "device not registered" every time I try to update..

Don't think there's any other way. Factory reset before the procedure and after to remove all traces of root.

Although, there is calming tea for the throwing the phone to the floor incident...
