phone totatly broken? - Galaxy 3 General

hello,
this afternoon my phone keeps hanging while flashing it because I got a BSOD on my computer.
now i cant turn on my mobile, cant put it in recovery mode or even in download mode. the screen does nothing and keeps black without black-light.
is there a way to repair it by myself or have i send it to Samsung?
i'm Sorry for my bad english.

Search. There was a thread about this here! somewhere...

sry to say this but it's probably dead if you can't get the screen to light up. Just in case, look for threads about hard-bricking, there were some posible solutions

take it to samsung and say it wont boot after you tried to update via kies. they will fix it for you

Universal answer to all questions

_____ wont work on my _______
_______ wont update
__________ signal ________
____________ making no sense
I am bricked. No boot, no download mode!
Answer: 1. Odin to stock if you can get into DL mode if you can't, skip to step 2
2. Go to Sprint and say your issue or say you got an update and your phone wont turn on. Act stupid.
Big no-noes:
-Usually sprint store reps can't tell you rooted. So don't say "yeah, om rooted so..." or throw up an obvious sign like a theme or boot logo/animation.
This needs too be stikied and on front page good job bro
Don't you have to be in DL mode to use odin?

90% of Sprint reps have no idea what rooting ever means. It is the technicians you have to worry about.

[Q] What type of brick do I have?

I've got myself out of many semi-brick situations but this time it's different. The phone is totally dead. No lights, a black screen with nothing displayed and the battery doesn't appear to be taking a charge. I'd given the phone to my son and now he's understandably upset that I've killed it for him. It happened while flashing with Odin.... It's as dead as a dodo and I assume its an ultimate brick. Is there any recovery when they're this bricked?

You can try Unbrickable mode My Android Solutions
I had this once on my i9000 a while ago. I thought i totally smashed it, but after having the battery/sim removed for several hours i was able to get back into download mode (Vol Down/Home/Power Button). I reflashed a GB Firmware (3 file) and it worked again.
I cannot post outside links yet but look on google and maybe build a Jig (Search for "Samsung Galaxy S JIG"
They are easy to build, maybe its worth a try...
good luck my friend

[Q] Camera wont focus - stuck on macro focus?

MyTouch 4g does not have a macro focus setting, but my phone appears to be set on what seems like one. I did not drop my phone, nor did it get wet. But the only weird thing that happened was my phone felt really hot when I was charging it the day I noticed it changed. Up close pictures are extremely clear, where any picture of an object farther than an inch away are blurry.
Any help here? Going to Disney World in a few weeks and I'd like to be able to take some pictures! Haha

Have you modified your phone at all? Have you rooted it (do you have the superuser app). Have you unlocked the bootloader (When you turn your phone off, then hold the volume down an power button, you get into bootloader; does it say S=Off or S=On at the top)?

I have not modified it. I had to root it once for an app, but that was forever ago. My phone did not do anything when I restarted it holding those 2 buttons.

Should I do a factory reset? I just saved my contacts and got all my pictures off of it. Don't think anything else on there is too important.

I honestly don't know what either of those mean. I factory reset my phone, just incase it was a glitch, but the camera is still blurry. When I tap the screen to focus it doesn't do anything but still makes the sound. I'm starting to think something may have become dislodged somehow.

Believe it or not, I thought of that first. But figured that wasn't it when I realized pictures of things less than an inch away are beyond clear.

Do yourself a nice favour and root your phone. It will benefit you. Just look at one of the many guides we have here.
Rooting means taking access of your phone, and being able to flash new operating systems (android versions). Maybe it will help by flashing a new ROM. (ROM is the operating system.
We have lots of guides, just follow them

Just Have A Few Questions

Looks like I'm going to be sending in my phone for warranty so have a few questions
1. I have a back up of the qfi stock Chinese rom that rom is a developer version though. Does anyone have a stock stable branch rom I could flash?
2. My issue with the phone is that when I shut it off for the night and turn it on in the morning, my battery is always drained by about 40% (eg 100% goes down to 60%) If anyone knows a fix I'd appreciate it. Also does anyone know a proper term for the issue because when I explained my issue to AliExpress and Allianz Group. They are having a hard time believing me that the battery could drain like that with the phone completely off.
My phone model is the Leeco LE Pro 3 XT720
I have seen it in XDA some where can't remember where.
Just remember when you find it don't flash it with twrp.

I've noticed something strange not sure if it matters though sometimes when my phone boots it vibrates once a has 2 lines of Chinese writing under the Leeco logo. And sometimes it vibrates twice and only has one word in Chinese under the Leeco logo. Any suggestions as to why would be appreciated

I'm actually in Poland currently so it makes sense for me to buy from AliExpress. I've bought a ton of stuff from them and this is the first issue I've encountered. Plus the issue started having after 30 days so eBay won't have been much help in terms of money back guarantee
