Media player leads video files, but only plays audio. The video does not play. any ideas?
Are u sure that the video format is ok? Use coreplayer...

I have Coreplayer and it plays video but the video is choppy. I have tweaked it as recommended in the forum, but still get choppy video. As I understand it, hardware acceleration only works with the pre-installed media player, and not Coreplayer. Maybe that's the problem? If so, then how can I get media player to play video?
Did you install TF3D? because thats what happend to me so I un-installed it and then hard reset.
Yes, I did install it. If I get the nerve, I'll try a hard reset.
Thanks
Hi all,
I am looking for a way to access PC desktop from Steam streaming. I know that there are other apps like Splashtop but non of them support Shield gamepad as input.
Thanks.

Here I have posted instructions to use shield controller with splash top. Try using the search
Btw, Splashtop will soon add FULL Shield controller support, so be on the lookout for that!

Actually this doesn't answer my questions. I am looking for the PC side solution for Steam and native Shield streaming, not Splashtop-like solution. Splashtop has higher lag for controls.
Does anyone try to stream from Linux receivers like Dreambox to Note 3?
I've got message that it is not possible.
When i did the same on Galaxy S4 it is all ok.
I tried with lots of players. On S4 the best is MX Player but on Note 3 it doesn't work.
It works fine for me with dreamdroid and v player...always used this combo and works excellent.... Sometime even stream hd

Yep. Just put the box IP where it says connection in dreamdroid and turn save and activate the profile.
Then when streaming, select v player and that's it.

Hi there,
I 'am coming from a G4 which was able to stream videos from a DLNA Nas in the gallery. It seems that it is not possible with the S7 edge without installing an app.
Is there any way to get that natively ?
Thanks,
It is possible on the edge.. the Samsung gallery, music, and video apps have DLNA built in.
The function is called "Smart View" or something now.. ill take a screen shot later if you cant find it
Thanks for your answer. Video app is not present on the S7. I got it from the galaxy store but there is no possibility to get some dlna content neither in the gallery app. Quick connect does not see it neither.

For videos captured from the camera you can use the built in gallery app and the Smart View to DLNA to a TV, if you want to DLNA a video already on your phone (film etc) you can use the built in File Manager and select share, then Smart View again....I tried this and works for me.
Actually I'd like that reverse ! I have a dlna nas which videos I'd like to stream on the phone
