i used to have that problem and i found out that what causes it was that these apps were saved on the sd card. move them back to internal sd and check if that works

That is because apps are getting updated and you are on a old version, is normal it to happens. Google is taking out and finsihing apps for ICS, they are still working but not all good they must. So I recommend you to change Android Version. Install @rqmok CM 10 it will work perfect for you.
Have you tried normal Aurora ICS?
Installing my CM10 ROM might fix it, but keep in mind that there are apps that are incompatible with my ROM, but they are compatible with other ROMs. Maybe this is a common CM10 problem...
I solved it. It is because i moved all apps to sd card.

Mammon88 has a link in his OP to report bugs.
Also, I'm sure if you were to post this bug in his thread, he would help you find the problem. He's an excellent Dev and very helpful resolving issues with his ROM.
I hope this helps
Are the apps that atlre disappearing placed on the sd card? If so, you should try reformatting your sd card, after backing it up of course.

you got your answer to this in the development section under bonsai rom. you have a corrupted fs.

What are you on about?
I have version Apps2SD Ad-Free 1.0.7 on a stock & lite ning rom v5 on my SGS2 with no issues.
If the app is not workina as should uninstall it and download a new build and see from there.

There's already an option to move applicable apps to SD on the S2. So why the need for Apps2SD?

the apps? i didn't.. i used to have that problem in Colornote when i moved it to sd.. but now i have the problem with all widgets (in sd or filesystem)
Make sure whichever launcher you are using is not on the SD card. I had the same problem with go launcher as soon as I moved it to my SD. I moved it back to phone and haven't had the problem since.
This is a bug of official 2.3 roms(I had it in all). Fortunately it' s not happen to everyone. Unfrortunatley we don't know what it triger it, and huawei never tried to find a solution(I've reported them from first 2.3 beta). I've found a way to solve it(in fact just to improve the situation, because it' s keep coming from time to time and needed to do it again). Basically is a command, which reinstall all apps, here is the link:

It' s strange though because I had this problem with all 2.3 official roms(and I have try all of them), but never on a custom rom, and for sure not on aurora & elora ICS which I've used for a long time.
Maybe thats because custom roms don't use stock launcher?

Hello,
I am using original rom. I have this u8800 huawei for about 1.5 year. NOw, the phone is not so sensitive when i touch and some slow sometimes. While onkeyboard, i cant correctly use the letters, usually wrong letters are being selected.
And its batters, it doesnot last so much, 3-4 hours.
And the phone memory. I have to delete some applicatiopns to free up space. I dont understand how those space is being fulled. Because i moved a lot of applications to sd card, so i dont understand how each week each week this memory goes full.
So, you see i have a lot of problems. I searched a lot of but i coudl not find nice informaition about roms. SO, which one do you suggest me to flash? Custom or stock?
And what do i have to before it? Backing up go sms messages to sd card, with calllogs backing up call logs, with titanium backing up applications and their data and that is it?
And another problem is that, i can see any file of sd card just like a pc, but i cant see the memory so i cant know what is in. So, how can i back up phone memory?
I am waiting your answers...
Did you update to gingerbread official? It's a stock ROM and way better than froyo. But if you want to get more performance and features from your U8800 i recommend you to root your phone and install a custom rom. For me one of the best roms and almost perfect is aurora ics by dzo, you will have access to a lot of features and also it will be possible for you to increase the phone performance.

Yes i do but first you need to update to 2.3.5 official gingerbread and then install aurora by dzo. And you also need to rrot and install clockworkmod recovery there are guides for that in this forum.

Oh and there are some tweaks that increase fps limit, sd card read write speeds, and other ones, but those will increse the boot time by a couple seconds, no big deal
TItle says it all... is this normal--- first time flashing CM10.1 or any other ROM for that matter. How do I get these "default" apps back?
Your going to get scalded for not reading the instructions on the cm thread or website... Go download the Google apps it's posted in the development section in many of the roms then flash from your recovery

I thought I did install the Gapps from the GooManager...
I had the same issue recently, no idea why they didn't install properly. But when I restored my applications when it just goes through and installs them one by one from the market they all came back.

Look at the apk's in the Gapps zip so you know what's being installed, many are NOT included since they're available on Play. This is normal.

Slow down.
Do you have Play, News and Weather or Talk in your app drawer? If so, you've successfully flashed Gapps. The rest of the "apps" installed are various sync adapters, etc...

You really need to read up on what's included in the gapps package...
Sent from my Google Nexus 4 LG-E960
WTF are up with all these errors???? First the Gapps crap and now "Unfortunately the Setup Wizard has Stopped" too... Why can't this just work!
Ok I restored to a previous backup before I flashed CM10.1 ...
They are not included in cm's gapps. Download them from play store...
Skickat från min Nexus 4
after you flash cm10
if you have playstore then just download the apps your missing thru the play store
if you dont understand what people are telling you
i suggest you go back and re read the instructions on how to flash a rom
Why wouldn't they include them? Thats stupid (in my opinion)... now I have to figure out what apps came stock on my phone- and how do I delete some of the apps that came installed with CM10.1?

Because they're available on Play, so most "official" gapps packages don't include them.
They don't come with the ROM because CM doesn't want to get sued by Google, and they're not part of AOSP.

If you think it is "stupid" dont use cm10 then and go find another rom.
is it really that hard to redownload the apps? or just make a damn backup an restore it
and either uninstall the apps. or use titanium backup to uninstall any app you want.
i would say search XDA for your answers, before this turns into 20 questions.
