Was just wondering, is it safe to root my Galaxy Note 1 without having a SD card inserted?
I will say my internal memory is 2GB.

I assume you mean your micro SD card, right? If so, then no, it won't alter your root at all. The root-related stuff is all in the phone's internal non-removable memory.

Just to be sure, you could try removing the sd card and booting it before wiping the card, so you can test non-destructively...

My daughter has not enough space on her Tmobile Grand Prime 8GB, but her SD card is 64GB. What can I do to add more space without rooting the phone? I know 6.0 has adoptable storage but she is on 5.1.1 right now. Thanks in advance.
You cannot do much without root about thr storage space. But the thing you can do is go to setting application manager or storage then application and select a desired app and chose the option move to sd this will move part of the app to sd card
Do you have a rooted grand prime? I haven't rooted in years but I know how to do it.

Yes i do and there are couple of threads with easy methods of rooting. I know how to use your sd card for storage with root but did you try doing that which i mentioned above

Yes, I tried to move some apps to the SD card but I wan't able to. The button to move to the SD card was grayed out.

I've grand prime plus stock marshmallow . I need to increase the internal memory , Can one guide me how to add external memory as internal. I tried formatting external memory but it does not show any option use sdcard as internal storage.

You would need a rooted phone to do so, this phone and most other Samsung phones do not have the feature to use SD card as internal storage. You could still move some apps to SD card, they have an option in the app info but its a part of the app in the SD card.

How to do it? I have the same problem and i need it even with rooted device
Guys i was thinking to buy dd for me ..but or thing came up to my mind ....is it possible ...to keep obb on sd card n play them by root or xposed .any ..means ..??

I used Apps2SD Pro at the moment but folder mount is working too last time. They have analyze function to search big folder that can be moved and mounted as internal.

That mean its possible... I was confused in 64gb or 32gb sd card.. So obb to sd card is possible

Yes, I used 128Gb on my s7 edge and 64GB on tab s2. Root is required.
