I would like to buy the GT-i9505G to replace my i337M, but first I have to make sure that S4 Google Edition has the LTE frequencies that we use in Canada (Band 4 AND Band 7).
I'm pretty sure it has support to LTE Band 4. Now I have to find out about the LTE Band 7. Could you help me to figure this out, please?
1) The test should be done in "pure" S4 Google Edition (GT-I9505G), with Build Number JWR66V.S014.130801 and Baseband I9505GUEUBMH1.
2) Dial the command *#2263# into your dialer. The screen "ServiceMode" will open after that.
3) On the "ServiceMode" screen, select "LTE Band Preference", then select "LTE B7" and then select "Band Pref: LTE B7".
4) Tap the Menu button and then select "Back". If you see an (*) after LTE B7, that means your GT-i9505G has support for the LTE Band 7!
5) To put your device the way it was before, tap the Menu button and then select "Back".
6) On the first screen of "ServiceMode", select "Automatic" and then select "Automatic" one more time.
7) Tap the Menu button and then select "END"
One more thing: Could you take a screen shot if you see an (*) after LTE B7 and post it, please?

Australian (Telstra) if you think 850 mhz (NextG) isnt working on Darkyys Rom.
Try
1. Call *#2263#
2. Select WCDMA BAND [*]
3. Check if WCDMA 850 has an [*] or not
if it has an * you have NextG enabled!
if not follow this procedure
NOTE: This will Disconnect your Signal for 10-30 seconds
4. Call *#*#197328640#*#*
5. Select - DEBUG SCREEN
6. Select - PHONE CONTROL
7. Select - NETWORK CONTROL
8. Select - BAND SELECTION
9. Select - GSM BAND
10. Select - GSM 900
Select GSM 900 Only [*]
(this Add's GSM Band)
11. Touch the bottom Left Menu Key
Select Back. DO THIS TWICE!
12. Select - COMBI BANDS []
13. Select - WCDMA 2100
Add WCDMA_W2100 [*]
(this Add's 3G)
14. Touch the bottom Left Menu Key
Select Back. JUST ONCE!
15. Select - WCDMA 850
Add WCDMA_W850 [*]
(This Add's NextG)
Thats it
Call *#2263# if you want to confirm you have NextG enabled
Download Speedtest from the Market place
to check speeds

Here is a video on how to setup 3G only on your Adam and/or other Android device using the awesome shortcut app called "ANYCUT"
This is best for when you live in an area that the 3g signal is there and works but may be less strength than the edge signal so your device keeps dropping the 3g in favor of the edge.

Overview of steps:
Download and install "anycut" from market place or preferred apk getter...
Long hold on desktop then select "shortcuts"
Then select the "anycut" option.
Then select "Activity"
Then scroll all the way to "Phone Info" and select
When that opens scroll to the drop down menu and you can select
WCDMA only = 3G only
WCDMA preferred = 3G/Edge (whichever is stronger)

2) hidden menu will appear, tap Phone information
3) scroll the page down and look for preferred network type:
4) select wcdma only and you will have 3g only

Its good , but having this option in main menu is better , isn't it? I think if this option present in hidden menu , we may add it ti main?
Not sure how you can add it to the main menu.
But u can simplifies the above steps by using Anycut to create a shortcut to "Phone Info" so that the "3g only" setting is only 2 taps away from home screen

Unfortunately i live in an area that only has 2G reception unless you're with telstra but I'm not so i cant connect to 3G and test it out
when checking WB-AMR status its currently set to off. Does anyone know how to get into the WB-AMR SETTINGS?? i followed the international guide but we have no option 7 for WB-AMR SETTINGS

3. Press Menu again then Key input,Enter value 1,and wait for few seconds
4. Press Menu key,than Back
5. Press [7] DEBUG SCREEN
6. Press [7] WB-AMR SETTINGS
7. Press [1] WB-AMR ENABLE
8. Press Menu and then Back
And finaly 9. Press [6] WB-AMR Status, VIOLA, WB-AMR SETTINGS: ON and UMTS WB: ON

on the next menu. Select the last option DEBUG SCREEN
and here it is, you will see option 7 WB-AMR SETTINGS and in here you can enable it.

Last I had read, AT&T won't be supporting VoLTE (voice over LTE) for quite a while (another year at least). T-mobile has some variant of it, and I think Sprint delayed theirs but will have it soon. Verizon is also far out, but not as far as AT&T's

I found a video that got to the WB-AMR setting using some more funky "Key Input" of "Q" then "0000" to get to the UMTS menu.

from your dialer, enter *#2263#
Enabling a specific frequency will not enable it on your device if Samsung has crippled it for your specific carrier. The only way to enable another modem frequency is to flash a supported ROM for your model and enable the ROM through the carrier settings.
