*If you do not see the Kernel folder, create it. Make sure its inside /ViPER4Android/ .

Thanks for this! Always excited to try out more IRS from zhuhang, and I expect THX to be as good as the rest. I'll let you know how they work on my single-core phone too

They are unfortunately not very good at single core.
There are a set of light weight version of my free ires in the IRS Starter pack, check irs index for the zip.
THX is included there (light weight) but the one on top is not light weight

I'll try the ones in the starter pack too... thanks, I didn't think there was anything different in the starter pack that I didn't already have. Free THX from here have much lower levels than most of the rest of the IRS I do have, and I have to pump the volume up much more. Interesting mix of samples these THX- I have been using the Zen Xfi Expand-Only-Mid irs recently and I like the THX-All50 sample in comparison. I need to rework the EQs again because I find the Crystalizer samples to be a bit too much metallic or...crystalline?...sounding. Too much harsh vowel sounds from singers/rappers for my taste but a bit of EQ should soften that. Excellent work again, thanks for even more audio options for the tweakers.

No worries, the level is a bit low but the quality is just as good as your other samples. I have an X-Fi card in my PC and I can not turn the Crystalizer too high there either, this is no fault of yours. Thanks again for all your hard work.

I have the same question, I Like good bass. I check WOW srs hd - it's give **** sound. In diamond some like cutted version, if you play with equalizer you can't make good bass, so maybe I need previus version, so please can anybody put here link but maybe in white (diamond style) please.....

As you can see i have not been an XDA member for long, neither have i many posts. But i have been following XDA for many many years. I am a big fan of ACID Audio Engine and thank the developers ☆☆☆TEAM AC!D☆☆☆ for all their hard work. I understand that there is a post for general questions already within this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002197. But i feel we need one that focuses on users installations and configurations that creates the awesome sounds that make our S3s that much more loved and worth alot more!
I believe this can be a page for members to share each others mix of roms and configuration settings.

Your next version should really have the build.prop lines automatically reflect the changes. Having said that, your install process is also really complicated. Although I got it to work eventually, I can imagine many people messing their phones up. Also, an uninstaller would be nice too. I may sound like ass saying this, but your app gave me many headaches leading to multiple wipes of my phone.
Rename of title to How To would be better than MOD as its not a mod but a how to guide .

Sorry my friend. But i am not in any way shape or form the creator of this mod. I am just merely asking members to share their Acid installations and settings to help other users out. please feel free to read the post again and you will realise.

I apologize Matt. I am very sorry for that lol.
Here's my install.
Installed Universal Twice and then went for the Noozxoide install and removed Noozy afterwards. I can attest that all these mods on JB aren't as as they were on ICS. It's perplexing. No matter what I do, it's not the same bass+EQ. Some of the options now on JB actually cancel each other out. Frustrating to say the least.

No problem my friend. You culd try my settings? keep the same rom and kernel that ur using but possibly use my acid installation options and my Noozxoide settings. See if that helps

Clearbass.irs with Field Sorround enabled in FX is just fantastic!
I highly recommend other users to donate and get the full version, you'll love it.

★ Introducing Cure Tech.★
With normal audio system, listening for more than three hours will feel fatigue, dizzy, tinnitus, irritated and other symptoms. This is a normal reaction, heavy bass and high volume could cause permanent damage to the human auditory system, but other phenomena can restore through resting.
Viper as a listening experience professional will not ignore this problem. Therefore put a lot of effort to study how to make a "Healing" sound technology, just a small success. But thinking on how to let users experience it.
Currently, there are two considerations:
1. Launch a ViPER4Android Cure individual version (Only weak effect processing, maybe only one toggle, mainly process auditory system healing stuffs, prevent harm when long time listening). This special edition is the same as FX and XHIFI, can work with other sound effects.
2. Integrate Cure Technology into FX and XHIFI version.
Above considerations have pros and cons.
1. Advantage: Easy to operate, turn on Cure will heal auditory system, original sound sensation very strong, no artificial effects. Users who doesn't like effect can install only Cure version.
Disadvantage: Have to open V4A Cure to toggle settings, there would be 3 notifications (FX, XHIFI, Cure)
2. Advantage: Remain only 2 apks. No extra apk.
Disadvantage: If Cure and other effects are turned on at the same time, its very difficult to adjust desired settings. Is is harder than adjusting coexist FX and XHIFI, even ViPER520 himself cannot adjust properly.
BTW, Healing function will be temporarily placed in a new version of FX, for temporary trial.

No one says you can't.
This irs is the best in terms of sound quality. The balance between low, mid, ang highs are just appropriate for.every music type. Using this with the latest fx version and I really am satisfied with the quality of this one

I second the motion.
I use LG Optimus L3 (single core) and whole mod works like a dream! Just gonna turn-off the Screen Off settings on your CPU Adjuster to avoid spoils and stuff... ;D

Loved this update. Audio seems to be more clearer now as it eliminated some echo due to it being normalized. It definitely is an improvement over the previous one. :good:

i wanna use it on my single-core SGY Duos but whenever i choose it from convolver option,my phone starts to hell lot a lag!
but it's the best irs i've ever used. is there any solution to use it on my mobile without lag free?
btw um using the highest cpu freq & governor.but it still lags lyk hell!

Thanks again zhuhang. I had been using and loving the Carnage 0.3/1.0 profile (posted here) for XHiFi/FX and added the Xperia Clearbass Rev2 irs. I just tried this nano irs and there is not much change in bass but the vocals just jump right out at you. Nice job!
