Little Question about sound

Hi everybody.
Im try to buy a blackstone, but I need know something about the sound, cause when I buy my diamond and really disapointed about the speaker. It's the worst sound ever see in the word! really, other phone like MOTOROLA U9 its very very very high and great quallity...
So i try to find some features and just find the conector change. So if the conector change, the sound too?
The sound is good? better then diamond? somebody can help me making a comparsion if diamond x hd ? just include things like, sound, processors, quality ..
other things like screen camera i know that right, cause u can see in the official homepage....
Please, help me.. im very crazy to buy the blackstone....

I don't believe the sound quality is any better than the diamond to be honest

I had the same problem in mind when buying blackstone, only I was using Nokia 5610 !!!
the speaker is pretty good!! -- you can tweak your blackstone using HDTweak to make the speaker louder!!! the sound quality is also pretty good, for me(Im a melomaniac ) the only problem which bugs me is- the speaker is on the back(when watching movies its pretty hard to hear something unles you "curve" the sound by putting your hand in the way of speaker!!!!

So, the sounds its the same on diamond? cause its really bad sound on diamond... The HD I think is good cause i see on top of the phone the connector for any headphone. So if really bad sound, i prefer stay with my diamond....
Somebody can help us? with test or things like this?

The sound from the phohe-speaker is really really bad.
Its the main thing bothering my right now, I would love to use some rintones with metalbands but the phone just makes noise, even if its its only clear guitartones it sounds like ****.
Only music that sounds fairly good is trance and stuff, without too much base.
The sound from the 3.5 connetctor is awesome though, especially when using Coreplayer.

In my opinion it's worse then Charmer, Kaiser, Diamond.
Sometimes I can barely hear the person on the other side.
The speakerphone mode is brilliant though...

Transformers Transforming Sound Effects

I have no luck searching high & low for the Transformers (The Movie) Sound Effects (not the cartoon type)... Just wondering if you guys have any? I'd like to have it as my ringtone

Try Zegde.net, lists 265 sounds when searching for Transformers so I am sure one of them will be to your likings.
I know what you mean with the "sound effect", so if you find what you are looking for can you post a link? It would be a nice SMS tone

Why dont you download from youtube a clip wich contains some nice sounds and than you can cut the sound with "wavepad" a simple tool to edit and cut sound or music.

thought there was one in the TP1 forum. I had one that works but have no idea where i put it lol

well you guys can just make your own by removing the audio from the movie and cutting up the pieces you want. I don't actully have this device yet but im saving up and should have enough soon. so If you don't know how i guess if you give me time of movie and length of sound clip i can do it for you. Just give me TF1 or TF2 start time and how long you want the clip to be.

Win w/audio booster > Android audio?

I really used to love the audio quality in windows. Now this was only the case when using audio booster. It just made the highs higher, and the midtones richer.
Is there anything like audio booster for android? I really miss my custom presets

i 100% agree with you winmo + audio booster + srs wow hd completely pwns android in terms of sound quality. Search the forums for "meltus audio hack", i remember using it on my g1 and it helped a lot. (there should be an app in the market too however you should check it is comatible with our builds first)

try LVH 3.6 (Loud Volume Hack 3.6) need rooted rootfs

louder volume hack only works for g1 and mytouch 3g he hasnt updated it to support new phones

In the market there's a music player called PowerAMP. It costs about 2 or 3 bucks if I'm not wrong. There you have a 10 band equalizer and so on. Try it out.

same problem, or similar ... under wm 6.5 i used srs wow hd to boost audio for youtube and other video.
Under froyo, the nand one, nothing yet...anyone can help?

** Tested on CM9 By Maclaw, works better than beats audio !
To activate it, go music , play a song , menu > Sound Effects
Then you should see a 'SRS Panel' at the title there, activate it.
Preset there choose 'SRS Extreme'
My opinion:
Set 'SRS WOW' to max
Set 'SRS TrueBASS' to 30%
**How if this don't work ?
1. Reboot CWM, mount /system and flash again
2.After flashing, use Root Explorer , go /system/app , find SRSPanel.apk and install it.
3. Now your SRS should be working !

In between SRS Audio and Beats Audio, which do you recommend?

i recommend SRS , try it and u will feel the difference

=.= accidently hit thanks when I wanted to quote you. Trust me beats audio is nothing. I repeat nothing comapared to SRS. SRS is a audio company that has been around since music mixing began. What you are comparing is chocolate and sh*t. Sorry for the crude words used but yea Beats is nothing in the world of audio.

Looking good, I'll try installing it when Android 4.0 for Galaxy Ace is fully working.

Is there something like this SRS, that seems audio quality is amazing, for GB roms, but no beats audio, it sucks hell, i mean something better than dsp manager.

i'm using PlayerPro with my own equalizer preset , the bass is quite clear and loud too
by the way, u need a good headset or else the sound is still sucks no matter how awesome thing u use

They are unfortunately not very good at single core.
There are a set of light weight version of my free ires in the IRS Starter pack, check irs index for the zip.
THX is included there (light weight) but the one on top is not light weight

I'll try the ones in the starter pack too... thanks, I didn't think there was anything different in the starter pack that I didn't already have. Free THX from here have much lower levels than most of the rest of the IRS I do have, and I have to pump the volume up much more. Interesting mix of samples these THX- I have been using the Zen Xfi Expand-Only-Mid irs recently and I like the THX-All50 sample in comparison. I need to rework the EQs again because I find the Crystalizer samples to be a bit too much metallic or...crystalline?...sounding. Too much harsh vowel sounds from singers/rappers for my taste but a bit of EQ should soften that. Excellent work again, thanks for even more audio options for the tweakers.

No worries, the level is a bit low but the quality is just as good as your other samples. I have an X-Fi card in my PC and I can not turn the Crystalizer too high there either, this is no fault of yours. Thanks again for all your hard work.
