Then there is no method other than factory reseting via Cwm...

Please search before posting as I have posted the solution many times
use aroma file manager (search Google or my posts)
flash it in cwm
delete password.key and gesture.key in data/system

Lol you don't need to factory reset and do other flashing thing just enter your google account and your password the gmail account you use to use in your phone and other google apps like gmail google playstore and etc. Im sure you have one primary gmail account signed in your phone if you don't have factory reset or do other method. I had the same problem long long time ago when my younger cousin play my phone and he do something crazy to my phone. Solve my problem 1 week figuring out to unlock my phone without internet connection using my primary gmail account that have been signed in my phone. Goodluck!

Don't mean to bring this old thread up but I figured its better than starting a new one.
No matter what I do, I cannot get back into snapchat..... any help is appreciated.
What I have done:
1. I accidentally logged out(wiped data files in settings) and then the trouble started
2. Flashed the uninstaller zip from recovery - try to log in to snapchat with no framework-doesn't work
3. updated to newest version of snapchat and still no luck (was running newest version usable with snapprefs
4. Rebooted and tried everything. My phone wont accept any log in info and just says the classic error message having trouble logging in...
ONLY THING THAT WORKED - using recovery I completely wiped my phones settings setting back to factory. Reinstalled older version of snapchat, then logged in, then installed the framework...
REALLY DON'T WANT TO WIPE ALL MY USER DATA AGAIN.
Any other way to get back into my snapchat??!!

Using SU, unchecking 'enable superuser' as well as 'full unroot' failed.
What other method should I be trying?

@RoyJ
even flashing system.img in fastboot did not work. Trying to log into snapchat (not newest version) getting the same error.... really don't want to wipe all my user data again this is really annoying. Any other suggestions? As far as I am aware I am fully unrooted at this point?

Nevermind then. If it was systemless root just delete su.img in /data/ flash a stock boot.img and uninstall the app, should do it.

Installing GApps in China

I've been successful before installing a new ROM when I was over VPN but recently I've tried to change ROMS and now when I restart my phone (after an install and the rom checks my apps) the phone is trying to connection to Google to make a connection but the phone constantly says that there is no connection. I know for a fact their is, if I reimage without GApps and connect to the same wifi I can log on to the internet.
Anyone have any idea how I can get around this? I hate not having my GApps on my phone and no access to the play store.
Using shadowsocks

Well, China has internet censorship, aka GFW. So you gotta either connect to a wifi capable of accessing the real internet or plug your sim card out and skip all the steps to enter the system first. Then you can sideload shadowsocks apk where you can set up your server information to circumvent the GFW. Or maybe just simply set up your VPN account.

Every time I try to flash GApps after the initial flash of ROM (i.e. I flash the rom, reboot, reboot to recovery, flash gapps, reboot, constantly receive error messages).
I'll do some research about the shadowsocks. Thank you.
I've also tried using wangdoujia, which is great except for all the spam I receive. I'd prefer not to have this though at the moment I might have to use this app store until I move back to the US in July.

I know this. My work has a direct line to Hong Kong but the problem is when connected to the wifi the phone says "Connected but no internet" but when I log into a browser I obviously have internet even though the error exists.
I will try again flashing but without my sim card in this time to see if it works. I'll update here what happens.
Ill also look into shadowsocks but if you see my comment above I always get errors when I try to flash GApps after my inital ROM install.

You are welcome, buddy.
As you see. I live in Kunming, China. So if you want to using Gapps, you should do like this.
Flash ROM and reboot to recovery flash GApps.
Unpluging your sim card and booting
Skip the WIFI setting
Using shadowsocks NAT mode.

I have missing something. when you boot in the system, the WiFi connection with a exclamation point. Do Not Worry About That. Justing Go this link download shadowsocks from github.
From now on, you need a shadowsocks account. If you could using Google in your PC/Mac, you have to find and buy one.
The other way is VPN. Many VPN have been blocked by GFW. I using Astrill in my Linux, Android and Windows. So fast and stable. You may try it.

I'll try what you said and see if it works.
When you say a shadowsocks account, do you mean to set up my own server? It seems this is the only way I have found to use shadowsocks. Is there another way to get servers?
I currently am using Astrill, AirVPN and Torguard and they each work intermittently recently due to the recent changes. I hope this shadowsocks will fix my issues.

I signed up for the shadowsocks and it seems to be working, now I just need to be able to get my GApps working  Thanks again.

I still can't get past the Connection Screen. I was able to bypass it by flashing the rom, loading into the rom, reboot into recovery, flash gapps, and reboot. However The setup wizard kept crashing and I couldn't break from this screen. So I'm still stuck at the moment.
I'm downloading the stock firmware and will try flashing this to see if I get any better results.

Password when changing the ROM.

Im trying to flash cyanogenmod but when the device boots appears a black screen that says i have to put a password. I tried all types of passwords and no one works. Can somebody help me with that?
PD: Sorry for my bad english.

Hey..First go to Wipe then Advanced Wipe and select data then n the bottom select "Repair or change file system" .. Select one of the options..( I think FAT will work).. go back and format data.. If it didn't work.. try another one and see which one will work
I had a similar problem, when enabling Dual Sim mode. I had no password set, but I found this tool which worked:
Just use option 2 to reset pin etc.

Google password doesn't work in recovery?

Hey all. I'm trying to install the latest update via stock recovery.. and it keeps asking for a password but my google password doesn't work.
I recently changed my google password.. but neither the new one, nor the old one, works. any ideas? is there someway to refresh the recovery password from inside android or will i need to factory reset in order to get into recovery?

Hmm you would be correct I think. But what would it be if I never made one? I guess I am thinking of the Nexus 6 days when it would require a Google password before the phone would boot.

I don't think OnePlus has FRP integerated. It's probably encryption password. If you can't figure that out then you must wipe userdata. You must unlock bootloader first (type "fastboot oem unlock" in fastboot) then type in this code: "fastboot format userdata"
*This will delete everything. Pictures, files, documents, downloads.
Hmmmm okay thanks for the info man. I guess I'll just wait for the OTA lol
Try using "password". Without the quotes of course. I know that was the stock recovery password for the 1+3.

Have you tried using your lockscreen pin/password? Worked for me this morning.
I use a schema for lock screen protection and recovery asked me to re enter it.
