i have attempted too many wrong password patterns on my galaxy Y and now it says to open with gmail password. but ihave forgotten my gmail password. I know i can reboot into recovery and wipe data by factory reset but i dont want to lose my data. Please help me its damn urgent!!!
Goto mail.google.com using any other device and use option forgot password and follow procedures

If I remember right you need to wipe cache after flashing in certain circumstances or this will show up. I know whenever it happened to me in the past it was because I forgot to wipe.
If not, use search. I'm sure it's been asked before.

but i forgot to copy rom custom in SDCARD and SDCARD is formatted, therefore i havn't acces to SDCARD,
i search to copy rom in SDCARD ^^
Okay, so I encrypted my storage last night. Today I rebooted the phone and it asked for a password as soon as it booted. I typed the password in but it says wrong password! Tried it countless times but I can't get into the device!
I have cwm installed but nothing I do on there helps either.
Please help! :/

Doesn't work :/ Still comes telling me to enter my pin or password to use the encrypted device memory
You're not using SIM PIN and phone password combination are you?
Also tried with SD card removed?

Ah, fixed it! Had to flash stock firmware via odin then go into stock recovery and wipe data, factory reset!
I have the same problem, encrypted the memory device (not SD card or whatsoever) and when i put my password it says "try again", i did a lot of methods, tried factory data reset (combination of keys), flash with odin (it passed the whole process fine, but at the end the phone still the same asking for a password) ..
What else can do? the password that the phone is asking me is not a PIN code, it is a password for ENCRYPTED MEMORY. My phone model is SPH L720T Sprint Spark for USA.

Then there is no method other than factory reseting via Cwm...
Please search before posting as I have posted the solution many times
use aroma file manager (search Google or my posts)
flash it in cwm
delete password.key and gesture.key in data/system

Lol you don't need to factory reset and do other flashing thing just enter your google account and your password the gmail account you use to use in your phone and other google apps like gmail google playstore and etc. Im sure you have one primary gmail account signed in your phone if you don't have factory reset or do other method. I had the same problem long long time ago when my younger cousin play my phone and he do something crazy to my phone. Solve my problem 1 week figuring out to unlock my phone without internet connection using my primary gmail account that have been signed in my phone. Goodluck!

I have a Galaxy Young GT-S5360, and use it for 1 year.
But I suddenly bricked my Phone without any system back up and I have a friend that has a the same phone with me and ask her system back up.
She gave it and it unbricks my Galaxy Y, but with no luck, everytime I will try Signing In to my Samsung Account it always say Processing Failed. When I try to create a new account it says Account Already Exist.
How I can Sign In to my Samsung Account? Please help me with this.
Don't use someone else's backup - It contains all their data
Best think you can do is go into CWM
select wipe data/reset
restart
This will wipe all your app data - you will need to reinstall all apps
In future if you brick your phone just flash stock rom via odin
firmware packages for odin can be found on dokys thread at top of dev section

if u r a root use just uninstall Samsung app store it just suks u have a play store download apps from there

I bought the Z1 for my nephew and in the first day of use he made a factory reset because the phone was crashing.. The problem is that my nephew doesn't remembers the email he created to enter the play store (he used a suggested one, and thought it wouldn't need it anymore!!! He has 14..). So now the phone is blocked by the google factory reset protection.. Can anyone help me to solve the problem!?
You have to enter recovery and wipe data. If you do not know how to enter recovery just google it and you wil find "how to"
