i've been thinking about tinkering with something like this it looks like you guys have it covered pretty well
NICE WORK
I've created my own case for the ouya I was trying to make it more functional than good looking. It has 2 switches one is a replacement for the power button as I didn't want to mess with positioning the circuit board so I could press the button. The other switch bypasses the fan controller and gives 12v straight from the psu to both the motherboard fan and the extra fan I added in. The fan power from the board is still hooked up but, Its protected by a diode to prevent voltage feedback into places it shouldn't be. The way it's hooked up it also turns on the second fan if the switch is not on. The second board beneath the second fan is a cheap powered usb hub so I can hook up a mouse, keyboard, and a usb stick.

I would love the BDG case, but with shipping it more than doubles the cost, I wish I didn't have principles :/
Haven't found any good alternatives though.

I use it for backup and restore just in case the tablet needs to be wiped for upgrading. Also media files like music and video clips can be stored in it, but for HD movies I use a usb adapter hooked up to an external hard drive.

restroom porn...?
curious if this is porn that is themed in a restroom, or if it is porn that is for use in the restroom, or both? lol
Maybe if you're bored or feel curious you can try dual booting Ubuntu? I'm not sure if that requires Ubuntu to run off the SD. But definitely something to look into?
i just want Windows XP on it
No, you don't.

You must be too drunk to be able to find the threads that already covered this issue.
why do you keep creating terrible threads?

Hey!!
I had a free day from school, so I planned to make it productive. So I made this really nice phone dock for the galaxy 3. I wouldn't call it a "dock" cause that does more stuff like charging, increasing the loudness etc. Just a stand to keep the phone in an upright position.
I made it out of a pizza carton. I could have also made a charging cable input (or sth like) but due to the phone's design it was not possible. But still does the work!
Here are some pics -

Yeah I know, its something not to flaunt over, but i posted it so cause their wasn't one for our phone. I made two before this and both of them fail cause of the weight of the phone

If i had a day off from school i would have probably wasted it by sleeping the whole day..
LOLZ! Cool, and btw, I made one before
Now that you have your model ready go for a stainless steel version, Or plexi glass would rock.
Did this a while ago. You can tell I trained in networking when you see what I made it out of...
Also works for my Galaxy S2... however I need to put it upside down if I want to plug it in...

for anyone that has the flip top type case for their phone you can make that into a stand for the phone too.
just bend the lid the opposite way and use the magnetic closing flap to lock it into place, as shown in pic.

Never heard of 1440p Hd so I feel like that is a gimmick name or a **** cord...

Not sure about that particular cable but can say if it has Ethernet it is a 1.4a rated cable. One of the newest standards out. I used a cheap cable on my wife's Xoom and had non problem. Many places to get cheap cables.
Mono price.com. , merit line.com shoot even amazon and eBay. Maybe there was a different issue there.
I see that it is a crap cable I plugged it in again and it worked but it was a little off like with the picture size like I only see 2 squares of the right top side app draw button
Thanks I didn't know this was the new style I will exchange it tomorrow b4 I leave for Detroit test at my brothers house
Edit- also cable needs to be in one position or no pic its 100% a dud can't wait to play n64 or modern combat 3 on big screen!

The tablet was soaked after being in a bag with a leaky bottle. This happend a few months ago and I just had time to take a look at it.
The screen is just white. I can connect it to a TV using HDMI and the touch screen works to operate it. Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, GPS and WiFi work too. Battery chargers and holds a normal charge. Any ideas what would need to be replaced to fix this?
I guess I can sell it to someone who has a broken touch screen or something, or use it as a tv box, but I don't really have a use for that.
Thanks

I had posted in another thread but i feel I got buried since I was off topic. I found a non functioning Sega Dreamcast at the local flea market and decided to make a custom "console" combing that and my Ouya. Still a work in progress but I am almost done with it. I was able to re use the stock fan and shroud for cooling as well as desolder and move the led from the ouya pcb to the factory location on the lid. I made an extension cable for external power and modified the push button switch into a momentary for use with the stock switch on the pcb.

this was the first fitting
with the stock sega fan and shroud in place
aluminum screen material from Home Depot
added some vents for air intake since the heat sink is right below
after I had cleaned up most if the cabling and shows final pcb fitting
I am working on getting way shorter hdmi and USB cables as well as extending the micro USB port and Ethernet. I more than likely will have those parts by the weekend.
This was a fun 6 hour project so far. The next one will be a Nintendo 64
Note on the tools, I was at the inlaws and my mother in law decided she wanted to "help" and let me use her tools so I wouldn't have to go back home and get mine lol. I figured I would put that out there before someone else did.
I saw your other post and I think i commented (if not, sorry!) but it looks awesome! I had the same idea but not sure if I'll ever get around to it.
Great job!
