Never heard of 1440p Hd so I feel like that is a gimmick name or a **** cord...

Not sure about that particular cable but can say if it has Ethernet it is a 1.4a rated cable. One of the newest standards out. I used a cheap cable on my wife's Xoom and had non problem. Many places to get cheap cables.
Mono price.com. , merit line.com shoot even amazon and eBay. Maybe there was a different issue there.
I see that it is a crap cable I plugged it in again and it worked but it was a little off like with the picture size like I only see 2 squares of the right top side app draw button
Thanks I didn't know this was the new style I will exchange it tomorrow b4 I leave for Detroit test at my brothers house
Edit- also cable needs to be in one position or no pic its 100% a dud can't wait to play n64 or modern combat 3 on big screen!

Doesn't even say Google on it.
This is the exact box my Nexus 10 came in:

(not sure why it says Manta double though, only got 1 )
I watched a youtube unboxing video where he had it with a nice looking box with the Nexus 10 logo on it, I'm curious though, what else does it come with besides the tablet?
The pictures these fellas are showing are the shopping boxes. You still get the tablet in the proper original packaging inside of that shipping box, like the ones you see in unboxing videos
As for what else comes with the nexus 10 box. You get the tablet, warranty and quick startup booklets, micro USB cable and a two piece wall outlet charger.
Mine came in a plastic bag, like the shipping ones, no box. Inside that was the nice nexus box (somewhat battered because they shipped it in a bag)...

Inside the cardboard box is some plastic air bags, followed by the Nexus 10 box Inside the Nexus 10 box includes:
- Manual
- Warranty Info
- Wall Charger
- Micro USB to USB cord
- Nexus 10
That's great, I thought it didn't have a charger at all, thanks for clearing that out for me guys
Hi. I'm in the idea stadium of a DIY car holder/charger since the ones out now looks stupid to me.
I need a smaller charger like the Nokia dt-900 which people tell me doesn't work well with n4 (comments on that?)
While looking at what is out now I've come to notice one thing (many actually), some sellers say that to get the n4 to work with their chargers you have to place the phone high on the charger in order to line up the coils. Looking at LG's charger this looks false:
{

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The charger is placed above the phones centre line. This isn't really that a big issue but anyway strange.
The charger I need also need to be powered at 5 or 12v to simplify installation in car.
Please feel free to help me with your findings in this matter.
As for the DIY details, I'll let you in later on.
EDIT: The phone has to be high on the charger, not the opposite as I wrote :s
The Nokia chargers don't work well with anything pre- Hardware Revision 12 (if I remember correctly). So if you have a brand spanking new Nexus that says it is Revision 12 the Nokia might work.

What's the difference between revisions that makes it work?
I thought the problem with the nokia charger was that it didn't provide enough power to actually charge the phone reliably.
Hi,
I'm after an external battery pack, preferably with quite high capacity, that has a micro-usb port to charge the pack. I've seen like mini-USB one's and the DC in but I need a micro-usb one to make things easy for me
Have you come across one like this?
Cheers

I have this as my backup

It's more than enough.

Don't know if you can charge it via microusb though, not released yet.
I've had good luck with Anker's internal batteries in the past (HTC Sensation) so I'd trust their battery packs. Not sure off the top of my head if any of them charge via microusb.
http://dx.com/p/cager-b030-10000mah...er-w-adapters-sd-slot-2-led-light-grey-167568
The cager ones look to have a microusb port, although I can't vouch for the quality of the batteries. Considering the N4 can support usb-otg with a custom kernel and external power, the cager may be a nice touch if you are looking for external storage via sd card.
the anker astro3 (10,000mAh/ 3A) charges with a micro-sd cable -- there's a short curly one supplied (+ alternative tips) which you can then reverse to charge the N4 from the Anker.

i got mine for £25.99 shipped from amazon uk and i'm very satisfied with it. it's about 20% larger and heavier than the N4.
I had posted in another thread but i feel I got buried since I was off topic. I found a non functioning Sega Dreamcast at the local flea market and decided to make a custom "console" combing that and my Ouya. Still a work in progress but I am almost done with it. I was able to re use the stock fan and shroud for cooling as well as desolder and move the led from the ouya pcb to the factory location on the lid. I made an extension cable for external power and modified the push button switch into a momentary for use with the stock switch on the pcb.

this was the first fitting
with the stock sega fan and shroud in place
aluminum screen material from Home Depot
added some vents for air intake since the heat sink is right below
after I had cleaned up most if the cabling and shows final pcb fitting
I am working on getting way shorter hdmi and USB cables as well as extending the micro USB port and Ethernet. I more than likely will have those parts by the weekend.
This was a fun 6 hour project so far. The next one will be a Nintendo 64
Note on the tools, I was at the inlaws and my mother in law decided she wanted to "help" and let me use her tools so I wouldn't have to go back home and get mine lol. I figured I would put that out there before someone else did.
I saw your other post and I think i commented (if not, sorry!) but it looks awesome! I had the same idea but not sure if I'll ever get around to it.
Great job!

I think you did too, and thank you very much. Looks like I may need to reformat the post. When I start the Nintendo 64, I will have a better idea of what I I'm doing

i've been thinking about tinkering with something like this it looks like you guys have it covered pretty well
NICE WORK
I've created my own case for the ouya I was trying to make it more functional than good looking. It has 2 switches one is a replacement for the power button as I didn't want to mess with positioning the circuit board so I could press the button. The other switch bypasses the fan controller and gives 12v straight from the psu to both the motherboard fan and the extra fan I added in. The fan power from the board is still hooked up but, Its protected by a diode to prevent voltage feedback into places it shouldn't be. The way it's hooked up it also turns on the second fan if the switch is not on. The second board beneath the second fan is a cheap powered usb hub so I can hook up a mouse, keyboard, and a usb stick.

I would love the BDG case, but with shipping it more than doubles the cost, I wish I didn't have principles :/
Haven't found any good alternatives though.
