It's a full GAPPS package (everything you get in the Factory Image you get with this Package). They are all installed on the system partition, so you don't take up precious SDCard space and they are updated whenever there is an update to any of the Apps in the package.
I like it because it gives you all the apps and you can remove what you don't want. You don't have to download as much from the Play Store on a clean boot.
Subscribed Great, waiting for more info.

http://www.forums.acsyndicate.net/showthread.php/3240-DEV-Flashable-Google-Wallet-v0.5?p=13712
Hey guys,
I just saw a high demand for keeping the current ROM you are on and being able to get google wallet on your device. I looked through the update and pulled the files ( apks, libs, certs..etc ) I felt might be necessary for google wallet to work on our devices. If you want to test this zip file you are doing so at your own risk, i only have it wiping the dalvik cache but i have tested it on CM 125 and 126 and seems to be working fine.
as always
DO A BACKUP OF YOUR CURRENT SYSTEM BEFORE FLASHING THIS VIA RECOVERY
I am no responsible for anything that happens from this flashable zip
so here is a v0.8 posted by nauckwj...
he figured out a way to get the new r33 version working on nexus s for other carriers ( tmobile tested )
takes a little more work as you have to delete a line out of your etc/hosts file, but at least its working and lets you add a card!
nauckwj said:
Finally!
Got this (more recent) version of Wallet working on TMobile Nexus S.
If you remove 127.0.0 1 www.google-analytics.com from your /etc/hosts file (normally done via AdBlocker-Hosts) then you MIGHT be able to get your CitiBank card to work too. I did.
This fix removes the carrier/handset restrictions that force it to only work on Sprint NS4G.
Try it and let me know if it works for you

they'd have to come out with updates for any phone that they want to have run the wallet app. its a bit more complicated than an apk unfortunately... there are library files and I think they also modified the framework to support the wallet app, but im still looking into that right now

Naa. They try to leave the apps out of the gapps package. They have the packman app in the gapps to give you a straight link to the soups you need
in the market. They do it like this for legal reasons.

yeah there is only 694 files in the framework-res of the 2.3.7 update while there are 718 files in the 2.3.5 version of framework-res... it may not even be possible to make a flashable version of this without making it specific to each rom because of this...
Im willing to test this when you think you have got it working.

i just tried and it worked...got back to stock though...my way how i installed...
1. backup your system
2. wipe data/cache/dalvik
3. install latest cyanogen
4. wipe data/cache/dalvik
5. boot cyanogen
6. back to recovery
7. wipe data/cache/dalvik
8. install ics
9. wipe data/cache/dalvik
10. boot ics and have fun testing
what i can say is that ics is just awesome. when it all works fine i will use it as my daily rom. but too buggy now to use it.
In the past few minutes BRD posted a link to a flashable zip that completes the Eos ICS build to have fully functioning HDMI and Camera. Apparently they pulled the drivers from a Chinese leaked version. I'll probably be flashing this tonight. Exciting stuff.
what link did he post? a fulll new rom? or just the camera binaries link
Just decided today that I'd try root and flash a eos ROM what great timing lol
Just the camera binaries. But he said that moving forward all the nightlies would contain the camera and hdmi fix.
Is this real? Is there any link to that fully funcional rom? Thnx in advance.
I have been reading about this chinese rom around but where exactly is this build that the link was posted for?

Correction 3 files are needed.
1. The Rom
2. Gapps
3. Camera binaries
Flash through Clockwork
The ROMs for ICS have been awesome! The last bits are finally done, data and the cameras. HDMI may be a concern for some but its not a deal breaker IMO. Team EOS really outdid themselves with the look and feel of this ROM. Very near AOSP with customizations in all the right spots.
Now there is no reason we can't get CM9 either. There is some Xoom work being done there also!

modify our kernel to work on new KK build. ( 99% Done )
everything else is done And i am Now Just writing a new Update script And modify ramdisk is all to do alter that.
As soon as i have flashed And checked RIL Data And wifi work Ill release in new thread in dev section. Thanks
Wow great news All the very best bro. We are waiting
Awesomeness brother seriously hats off to all your efforts if im not wrong your the same guy who tested it and has also posted videos I really appreciate your efficient contribution and also understand the risk you took up by flashing a different device firmware watched both your videos as of now ril, wifi, storage isn't working and Samsung gave lame reason as ram consumption is high but in your video it ws somewhere around 500mb good going mahn all the best fingers crossed!!! isn't note 2 kk too big to directly install on s3 .?
do we need partition the sd card..?
Will be interesting to see how this goes. The hardware is very similar. Do they both use the same Wolfson DAC?

As i stated before no need for sdcard as my kk build is NAND compatible. I do not port a rom if it can work only from sdcard. This rom is stock debloated Note 2 firmware. All features will be Kept only use Less apps will be lost but most of apps will be flashed to /data so i dont have to remove so much

Just curious why I need to flash the vendor image after a ROM instead of just having it flash as part of the installation? Not that it's a big deal, just wondering if there is a specific reason. Seems like it could just be put in the zip and save a step. Thanks!

In some cases like Temasek it has to be flashed right beforehand too every time you install it or it won't boot (specifically the image, at that). I'm pretty sure the reason is that it'd mean swelling the size of every build by nearly 100mb, as opposed to having people download it serpaately which means its just one 100ish mb download a month. Also in the case of Temasek only flashing the vendor IMG works, not the zip so it wouldn't be practical.

Why are you complaining about a prepackaged zip? That is for folks too lazy to flash radio and boot images manually. You need to update those every major google update listed on Nexus Factory Image host.

You are complaining about something other folks took the time to make it easier for people to update their boot/radio/vendor files. Thanks for your whining? You build ROMs and you don't know you only need to update that once every major update from google? Huh...
