One of the big problems compared with htc one is the sound recorder of Xperia, my old X10 have the same problem.
When you go to party or disco, the sound recorded on video is ^PURE DISTORTED^, isn't possible to some developers, know the problem came from??
not possible to develop one function for solve that problem?? like "sound limiter, or manual volume option with sound meter???"
One phone created by sony with this sound bug are really bad to sony entertainment.
Some comments please...

Hi all...
Is there any way to increase volume in recording while we are in Call...
If we record a cal, our voice is clear and loud but not the other person's voice... it seems it records it from MIC...
Is there anyway to record the other persons voice also louder?... After recording if we play the recorded file the other voice is almost like no sound.
Reviving the subject…
Is it possible that there is now solution for this? Cmon, on Nokias this is a common feature, recording in AMR format...
true - I am missibg this too - should be reported as a bug.
You may also want to read http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=513&more=1 on this subject - it gives a nice overview of what you can expect from PPC PE devices and what applications there're to (even automatically) record phone calls.
I'm looking for people that have experience using the Wizard for recording concerts and things of that sort.
I found quite a few threads on recording phone calls and such, but that's not what I'm looking for.
I plan to attend a few concerts this summer and I want to try to record a few of them renegade style. I'm wondering who else has tried this? Your success stories, failures. What apps you've tried? Recording quality etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
try Vito sound explorer
dunno if its "freeware" or not, but i like it
Bumping in hopes to get some more insight on this topic.
Are there no applications that do this? I am a bass player, and I really would like to record my gigs on my phone.
Hi all
I would love to be able to record FM Radio. I bought Resco Audio recorder but it can only handle mic input. Does anyone know of a way for recording FM radio ?
many thanks
I am also interested in this topic. Does anyone have a solution? I haven't found anything with a solution via search.
me too, i'm very interested if somebody have a solution...
This is very interesting, it would be nice if we could enable stereo mix like we do in PC to record any sound we hear.
Maybe the call recording in the new ROMs might be able to ? Just an assumption since voice recorder is not able to record voice calls, and the new feature implemented in many new roms like the dutty one have this option, can anybody confirm if that is true ?
I have a Raphael, but I can record the FM radio using any program that has a record function. The "Notes" audio recorder works (though it records in wave format, which takes up a lot of space). I personally have been using Vito SoundExplorer, which gives you the option to adjust the input level, and change the recording format (I use mp3, which saves space). Try it; see if it works on an HD.
Personally, I think it'd be nice if HTC's FM radio app included a "Record" function like the Omnia's. Maybe someone could port that app & make it work on our devices ?
Any Developments???

Hi guys^^
I just realized how extremely bad the recording quality of my blackstone is.. I'm professional musician (violinist) and I need to record all the time something. Usually, I use MiniDisk, really amazing quality with the correct microphone. Now, I have not all the time my MD with me, and I'm pretty scared that it will be finished in few time, cause it's already not working as it should, so I wanted to record for experiment with my beloved blackstone. Now, I tried Vito Audio and Resco Audio, and both were extremely bad quality.. If I use Resco with highest settings, it's ok, BUT all the a little louder passages (it's not extremely loud, just as loud as a normal violin is..), it's extremely over the line. So, I could demand, the blackstone is not a recording device, but I saw an IPhone from a friend of mine (by the way, I HATE this I****!!), he showed me some examples he did record in some concerts live and it was amazing, nearly cd quality!!! So, now I'm REALLY pissed off, and I can't believe that I found one thing that is better on the IPhone.. So, please help me, I just hope that I didn't choose the correct applications..
Thanks!!! cad^^
Hi,
I use Resco Audio-Recorder. There you have the option to choose wich format, wich quality and how big the File will be. The only disadvantage is, this Program is not freeware, but the recording and handling features is very good. Actually the whole Range of Products from Resco are awesome.
to edit your recordings is the freeware Audacity one of the best

He isn't talking about editing but the audio recording off the HD.
Thanks a lot for your answers!! Yes, I'm speaking about recording, directly through the blackstone.

About Resco Audio-Recorder, I tried it, but as I wrote, it's only (with highest settings - wav) good quality, when it's low db, when it's getting only a little louder, it cracks all the time and so the recordings are barely unusable that's the point... Thanks for your help!!
Greets, cad^^
Hello guys, i have problem on my s10+. My apps (for example YouTube) volume becomes super low and very bad quality while I am talking on Skype. And it is same for every app using voice calls like discord, WhatsApp etc. And "low sound" problem also applies to every app like gallery, video players, audio players, games... I can get normal sound on YouTube video if I start video then pause it, make Skype call, resume to video and unpause it, but it works only on video played before call. If I go to other while talking on Skype volume problems starts. Some one can help me? Any ideas? (sorry for my English)
maybe skype is muting other apps during your skypecalls, but thats just a guess.,
