They are always random and ask about getting a loan

Try true caller it gives us the info about the caller so you could know if it is a spammer or not.

Froid, you should contact AT&T first with this URL: http://localization.att.com/loc/con...pid=ecomm&RIAConsoleLogLevel=4000&address_id=
I remember my mum getting that call when it was clearly a mother with a few children (it was heard in the background) and my dad went to the phone to finish the call and they will not call again.
If AT&T does not help you at all try getting hard at them (of course not at AT&T) but if you don't like doing that then you may want to try contacting your local police.
Is it possible to give out there phone number so I can inspect it?

Anybody working in Advanced Technical Support?

I need help from somebody in advanced tech support. For the past 2 weeks whenever I call anybody, my number comes up up on their phone as private. I've called sprint 5 times now and been in store 4 times. On my second phone now. Please help.

You can dial *82 before the phone number, and it will unblock it on a call by call basis, otherwise you need to call Sprint to have them completely unblock for all calls.
Issue resolved. After 2 weeks, 5 phone calls and 4 in store visits. The people on twitter @sprintcare came through for me. The *82 worked and helped to narrow down the problem.

Anyone's phone not ringing?

Hey guy, I have the N4 for tmobile and I have had problems with people calling and not getting though it just sends them straight to voice mail and not pop up to notify me and not ring but when I call out the voicemail pop's up. Anyone having this problem?

I am having this issue as well. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen

Yeah, I think it happens mostly when I leave it alone for a bit.

Bump. Anyone else have this problem? Sometimes I don't get texts and calls go straight to voicemail, I have to restart my phone and that fixes it for a while. It happens randomly. Haven't figured out a pattern yet.
I have had this happen a couple times on both of my Nexus 4 devices.
I have had this happen in the morning. Not sure if it is carrier dependent. I am with Wind.
Yeah happend to me twice !
Same here, T-Mobile in Florida

I'm on T-Mo in VA and the latest CM10.1 nightly and it seems like my phone almost never rings. I am constantly getting "Missed call" notifications. And despite having Google Voice installed, the only messages I get are from the T-Mo VM. Weird....
This has been happening to my wifes Nexus 4 but not mine. It usually only happens in the mornings when the phone has been sitting for a while, after she restarts it, it seems to work fine. Does anyone know a fix for this???
This was happening to me a lot at first, I went to tmobile and got a new mini sim card b/c i cut my old one down and know it seems fine b/c im not waking up to voice mails and no miss calls.

Gf's S3 won't receive my texts anymore!

Her phone just stopped receiving my texts! She still gets texts from other ppl fine and when she sends me texts I receive them! First time this ever happened under these conditions.. Because I can also send texts fine to other ppl.. This is weird..
I told her to take her Sim and battery out for a half hour and it didn't help

Nvm.. She had my number registered as spam on her phone by accident.. Wtf setting is that? I'll find out when I see her

Texting using main #

Is there any way around paying at&t for texting using my main phone #? I don't want to pay them to get a few texts. I am still under contract. If I wasn't I would port to Google voice.

I would still try to port your number to Voice. I did it when I still had a few months in my contract. Here's how:
1. Port your phone number to Google Voice (automated process takes exactly 24hrs to complete) (Requires your cell service account admin credentials, have them at the ready).
2. Right after you request a port, go to your carrier's website and request a new number. This'll release your main number from the contract and dump it into their 'usable number' pool.
3. Pray until you get an email from Google that your port is complete.
4. Port your number to wherever you want or keep the number on Google Voice.
NOTE: This has a high success rate, but isn't guaranteed. You may lose your number, or worse: incur early termination fees (ETFs). I've never heard of anyone incurring the ETFs while following this guide, but it is theoretically possible.
anyone have success with this?

I have used it and LOVE gv, but be aware that you won't be able to send/receive MMS anymore
Also I wouldn't recommend that you port your number, you should just get a new GV number and then give that to everyone.

I tried that but so many people text me messages and picture messages on my main number. I'm trying to find a way around that. An app...something .....there's gotta be a way.

I had a GV number for years, but so many people either forget to update my number or erased the info.

My girlfriend and I are on the exact same phones and services with the same issue. It can take some time to make sense when a large messages comes through as 3 or 4 jumbled.
That's what I told her Yankee. And do you know how to fix it?
