HP 610c/612c/614c Wm6.1 5.2.20273

EDIT: sorry about the wait! i've uploaded the new ROM here.
also available here. it's based on the newest HP OEM ROM, 1.01.04.
if you download from the original forum, you need to register first. password is pdaclan.com. i'd upload the file myself, but i'm at an internet cafe and have to go, sorry!

to flash this ROM:
1) unrar the file flash.dio using pw "pdaclan.com"
2) copy the file to an micro sd card formatted to FAT 16. do NOT use an SDHC card, the bootloader can't read it!
3) insert the card into your 610/612/614. while it's still off, hold down the voice record (left side) and mute (top) buttons
4) still holding the buttons, hit the power button. hold them until you see the bootloader start up
5) sit back and relax! i'd recommend that you don't touch anything until it's totally finished and the screen comes up telling you to calibrate the touchscreen. enjoy windows mobile 6.1!
as usual, you use this at your own risk. don't come crying to me if you brick your phone. for the record, i've flashed this and it's working fine so far.

any feedbacks on anyone who flashed theirs with this rom ?

look like it has chineese programs on it. nor really useful

it HAS chines progs on it and is a mixture of the newest Samsung I908 WM 6.1 ported for the ipaq 61x in english with chinese parts in it.....not so usefull yet.
Installed it for testing - absolutely stable and FAST!

Have anyone test this ROM and publish the report

It is actually "HP612_WM6.1_OS 5.2.20273 EN ROM"
I wonder it has driver and software for camera. I think the difference of 612/614 and 612c/614c is the camera, isn't it ?
BTW the pw is "PDAclan.com" not "pdaclan.com"

Also flashed radio with rom from HP site that is become unavailable at this time. (whole system flash with "official" HP update WM6 an then with 20270.1.3.1)

@Grga001: Do you want links to the English ROMs or all of them? The one you linked to is in Chinese. It's the newest, but the English version for 20737 isn't out yet.

I really think a clean web page that translated in English should be created for all the roms developed by the israpda.com or pdaclan guys. but that's just my opinion.
Even if its not translated it would be easier to translate a page as oppose to a forum.
It would be nice to understand which is the latest rom and which one is better or what the differences are between the one from PDAclan.com and israpda.com

Okay, I'm going to get started downloading all the ROMs from PDAclan. I'll post the translations and rapidshare links in a seperate thread when I get back home and can upload files a little faster. I can do the Chinese part but I don't speak Russian. Any Russian speakers willing to do the same for israpda?

can you explain the difference between this 20270-20273 and the one found here which has a bigger version number (20757):

(i have to admit that i m a little lost with all these versionings

I found the program GPS QK Position cannot be worked in this ROM. it said the download is sucessfully but it keeps the status said the GPS data file is expried. Any idea of it?

yes same here I am a bit confused between the 20270 and the OS 5.2.20757 (Build 20757.1.4.0) Ver 1.5 which I cannot longer find on forum.israpda.com !

Korean Rom with 576MB ram for Hd2??

Hi, does anyone know if there is a korean rom available for Hd2? I use korean files a lot on my phone and boxes are of no use. If its out there im sorry but ive bin looking and cant find it at all

You are looking for a Korean ROM or just need to view Hangeul, in which case you just need Korean font on your device.

Hey, I've done it, and working fine.. Bit of issue with Keyboard.. but it works. Downloaded ROM from here at xda-developers, and little help from one of the Korean Sites..

He has clarified that he is looking for a Korean ROM whilst based on your post, you are looking for the ability to just read and write Korean. If it is the latter, that can be done using the correct font and input (SIP)
However, you will not be able to view Chinese font. I am not sure if there is a way to allow the user to see both Chinese and Korean fonts at the same time

It comes with "Moa keys" and I was able to get some info from youtube. (I'm learning)
I've got T-Mobile and it's working fine, but when I try to send to my friend with AT&T, it gives me message and tells me try to send it without the symbols.
I guess it doesn't work if you have AT&T.

yea I am also using MoaKey2 which I think is from Samsung and is relatively easy to use.

its not easy to install font on wm6.5... i've tried so many fonts... all failed on me

I'm currently using Telstra (Australia : 850Mhz / 2100Mhz) version of HTC HD2 (Leo).
I've forgot what Radio Version it was.. but yeah...
* Install HSPL
* Do a search for Merlion Leo Rom V2.5 on this forum
a) Once installed and configured,
* Do a search for Lost In Asia V1.2.23544 WWE with CHS on this forum
a) Once installed and configured, open up a browser then goto google.co.kr then in the search box, type in or copy and paste this "htc hd2 한글쓰기". It's the thrid one down on the search result... one that starts with "mymits"
b) download the files from the website and follow the instruction.
Instead of using Fingerkey, I found Moakey is alot better.
Hope this helps... Reason why I've used 2 custom roms.. ROM installed ok, but got stuck on HTC Screen (May be because I didn't read the information fully... advised to install RADIO Ver of 2.08 before installing the ROM)... So, I had to install Merlion Leo Rom V2.5 then Lost In Asia V1.2.23544 WWE with CHS.
Anyways...

LIA ROM does not include radio whilst Merlion ROM does. You should be able to skip Merlion ROM for this exercise by just flashing the correct radio before using LIA.

It's working! but it's 99.9%
I installed steps 1-6 on my HTC Touch Pro 2 and it is working, but whenever I pushed start button at bottom right it freezes my phone.
Until I installed MyMITs_Korea+Moakey2WVGA100310.cab then everything works smooth.
As you can see, some of menu has not changed yet. 99.9% I'll say.
My rom is |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23544 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562773
and it seems to be okay now.
I can't wait til the t-mobile hd2 comes out. (I'll have to butter up my sweetheart to get one probably )

Can someone please upload the latest firmware avaialable for spica that has romanian language and it is unbranded. i installed a french firmware but it doesn't have ro language.

I have tried many 2.2's on the spica and i want to flash it to this version of the original firmware - I570EXXJH1
I have downloaded this from samfirmwares and after opening it i t contained 2 files, a eSER.tar file and a SS_DL.dll.
Also it said that the New .ops file is required is required,but the link does not work.
I also have odin 4.03 with some ops file in it,don't know wether it's old or new.
1.can anyone post the link to the New .ops file.
2.So what all should i select in odin ?
3.which one do you recon is enough if english is used as the primary language as i have already have Jh1 version

Just flash without CSC (cache.rfs) -> no branding at all. AFAIK the pre-configured APNs are in there also, so you'll have to configure those manually, even if you didn't before.

You just tick one package option.
New .ops file you can find at the bottom of samfirmwares page.

I already have jh7 installed. will it still work if i reflash it without csc? apns are for acces point names? if they are i don't need them since they are from south africa operators and i use mainly wifi. i think that with the apps the operator installed in the firmware the memory is drasticly reduced so i can install only 4-5 apps then i get the low memory message.
p.s. does anyone know why the low battery sound isn't present?? i just get the on screen message in wich it tells me i have under 15% left but no message tone whatsoever. just shuts down and never tells me

Hey wolf, I have some problem and i hope you can help me. So here's my story.
2 weeks ago my Samsung ATIV S i8750 got screwed up, after a normal weekly soft reset (i was doing that all the time just to refresh the phone), but this time after the normal soft reset, my ATIV S showed some black screen saying something is wrong with it. I can't upload the pictures here but it was something like
blah blah blah text about some software installed...
(and on bottom was this):
File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.efi
Status: 0xc0000428
Info: The digital signature for this file couldn't be verified
So, after few hard resets it didn't went away and after 20 months of having the ATIV S I needed to flash it for the first time. So in talk with a friend who already did this and point me the rom and files i needed to flash the rom I install this rom: GT-I8750 XXDOC2_RS_signed.wp8 along with the CSC file GT-I8750_OXADOC2_RS with SMD USB Downloader 3.54. I successfully install that rom, and the phone works again, but i have a different problem now.
I don't know if its rom related or it is a hardware related, so i am sking you if you have clue what is going on.
The problem is that after that the phone can't be recognized on any computer. I tried on various machines running different OS's (Win7SP1, Win8, Win10, etc.) I flash the rom on my lap top who is runins W10 btw. The phone is not recognized even as a unknown device in the Device Manager. When i plug the phone to the computer or a wall charger, the phone doesn't play the sound or indicate the sound that it have been plugged to a cable, but it does charge anyway. It is not that big of a problem to live with this. For transfer files I mostly use the Wi-Fi app to transfer files on my pc and vice versa, but I can't do anything else, for example to flash your new rom or any other rom to my ATIV S. Battery life is normal as before tho. So, in your opinion, what do you think it might be? Software problem or hardware problem (usb port on the phone)? I hope i covered everything, but if you need more info, please do tell me, i will provide it. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, probably, cuz i tried with other usb cables, the same results.
Hope they have spare parts for the phone's usb port

I assemble your firmware (method -WOLF-):
- Replace CSCMgr.dll and CSCMgrSvc.dll
- Replace OEMSettings.reg (included all settings)
- Replace some tunes and pictures
- Remove language dsm
- Xap files deleted by samsung
- Edit the file in the software and system config
At the time you first install the trigger of the config files
After HR removes unnecessary languages and works OEMSettings.reg.
You can put custom mbn or csc.

Mind giving us a clue? I believe it does already have interop unlock, possibly some registry tweaks, or?

Maybe you could do a ROM with alla Languages and post a tutorial to remove after the install (I don't find the guide for remove the languages :/ )

Yes, via Insider. Just change phone model to Lumia.
It's not possible to update 8.1.1 to 8.1.2. But worldwide version of 8.1.2 custom will be released soon.

hey , this tutorial show how to interop unlock your phone with sd card support and without windows phone internal
ya its extra+info's hack...again work after some kinda trick
step-1 ) uninstall extra+info from the phone storage by changing date+time to 2200yr
step-2) set new install app to sd card into the storage setting app
step-3) change your region to china and reboot phone
step-4) register your phone for devloper using devloper register app
step-5) open the store and download(nokia update) http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=443f4d2f-4182-43ea-b732-841a2ccbdd7b
step-6) open nokia update app . you can see the two extra+info and extra+info(universal) .now download extra+ info ...at that time store dont give popup like "this app must install on phone storage" .by this hack you can install into SDcard..:highfive:
so, we are ready to interop
step -7) set storage sense to phone
step-8) download and sideload CustomWPSystem6.0 on phone storage http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-phone-8/development/xap-customwpsystem-patch-xaps-wpsystem-t2975419
step-8) download vcreg v1.2 and put root directory of sdcard http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-phone-8/development/xap-vcreg-lumia-reg-editor-live-interop-t3135326
step-9) open CustomWPSystem set the sdcard permission>>> chose Extra+info as target app>>>select vcreg.xap>>>hit apply
step-10) open setting app>>>like"D:\WPSystem\apps\23___" and open template(...)>>>hit apply live/permenent intrope unlock..

actually ,
---> almost lumia which have 1GB or more ram is running on windows mobile 10. so,its easy to intrope by intrope tool.
--->remaining 512 mb ram device used this trick before but after arrive windows phone internal its easy to introp and boot unlock.
--->but if u dont need to to boot unlock then you can use this method ..its easy but lts lengthy. so most of them use WPI....
amd also its a good tool..i also used that to introp unlock....but i posted this because it can helpful to someone.

After step 1 shouldn't the phone be reset to actual date i. e. 2016? With that you should be able to download extras+info.

Sorry, but no. It's NOT working.
I am also unable to install Extras + Info. Same error as in post 11.
Please give us working settings for region/language etc so we can install the app in step 6 of your tutorial.
BTW I'm trying to do this on 640 XL, OS 8.1.2

This combination may worked for me
Switch your phone language to English (in) then try it......ot must be work

i am sorry to say .... but it's not working with respect to your video.... in lumia 630 with windows phone 8.1 denim update... i think it may be patched my microsoft... what do you say ajay about this ? actually, i checked the WMManifest.xml file its conatins are kind of encoded... maybe, that is the real problem behind this.. and maybe.. it is not working with all phones... maybe your phone might not be patched for that bug....

First....
Don't rename apps>appsxx...and open wmmanifest.xml....n u can see its not encoded.....
After renaming its encoded....
So you have to past vcreg to that folder without rename this folder ...
If you rename then its always show loading.....bcz you put file don't decode because it actually not encoded......

does this method works in other apps like mixradio or preview for developers.
i couldn't install that extra + info app it's showing up that " it's not available in my region or software is not upto date. " i changed the region to china as mentioned but its not working !

i already have english(india) language installed.... i mean its my default language..
even though i tried to do it again but didn't work... and issue persists.. " extras + info not available for my phone "

I have followed your instructions to the letter, but setting region, phone language and speech language is not enough.
I think that phone model & country variant might be responsible for the problem. I have 640XL RM-1067 059X1H4 country variant.
OS is window phone 8.1 update2 , latest for the 640XL.
What phone are you using? Model, country variant and operating system version?
